This was our 3rd year staying in the cabins. We had a wonderful time with family and participated in many of your planned activities. Our cabins are already booked for next year!

We’ve been coming for the past five years, always in November and this is the second time we have had no heat in the deluxe cabin. There was no ice tray to make ice and there wasn’t enough hot water to even finish a quick shower for one person. Honestly, I don’t think we will be back.

Loved the pancake breakfast and the grapes and grind cafe! super friendly staff and clean bathrooms! Bingo was a family favorite!

It smelled like raw sewage and the staff were not helpful, even rude. The bounce pillow was not open the hours advertised.

Our stay was good. I think it would be a good idea to have better access to the front cabins maybe steps. It was very hard for a 82 and 75 year old to carry things up the hill . Everything else was fine. We enjoyed the breakfast. The hay ride looked like a lot of fun. This was our second visit before we were in cabin104 and had no problem.

Over all enjoyed the stay. Problem was comfort station 2 had no hot water for most of our stay meaning we had to walk from cabin 125 to camps tore to take a hot shower. The individual shower behind the store was full of mold and the shower curtain was moldy also. Very unacceptable for an immune compromised individual such as myself. Reported problem to clerk in store who seemed unconcerned

This was an amazing camping experience. The staff was super friendly. The coffee shop and cafe were a great add on! I am already planning a trip with my friends.

Stay was fun, staff was great, very overpriced on everything. We have been going for 15 years and as a group, we are looking at alternative locations. There is over 30 of us in our group.

Campground was uncomfortably packed. Cabin 136 had an unacceptable gravel incline to access - not warning of us this is terrible - definitely not accessible to older people or those with balance issues. Bathrooms were dirty and out of soap. I’m so disappointed in this KOA.

We had a GREAT stay! The Halloween events were awesome & spooky. Our kids LOVED the haunted house, game room, pancake breakfast. Great area to explore for history and nature. Our deluxe cabin was cozy and comfortable. Thanks!! We’ll be back!

I am a KOA member during the booking process I had received emails that if I purchased 2 days the 3rd day was free, that was not the case. The bathrooms and showers were not cleaned and the toilet paper was not replenished on both Sunday and Monday. For the price of my stay the services were serious lacking. I did not renew for next year.

Our stay was wonderful. We have multiple extended family members staying during the same Halloween weekend and we always book a year in advance. This year I was totally stunned by the increased rates for next year. The rate went from $260/night to $460/night! I honestly thought it was an error. The employee seemed surprised also by the steep increase but confirmed the new rate!

We had a great time. Our group has been doing the Halloween weekend for 15 years. We think it is getting very expensive , giving the price increase for next year and needing to buy 3 nights to get 1 free when it use to be buy 2 nights to get 1 free.

Disappointed after this trip. Our cabin wasn't ready when we arrived. We went to rebook our cabin on Sat and was told that it was already booked by someone else for next year, no longer owned by KOA we were told. Lady at the coffee place awesome! Wine tasting lady was fantastic. Nobody is perfect. But not giving the person who has rented the spot first dibs is bad business and not right

Halloween camping was amazing!! All the different activities for the kids were very well planne, The kids enjoyed the haunted house and so did us adults.. I have been coming for 3 yrs the month of October and I have to say this year's haunted house was really good. Thank you for all the enjoyment we had last weekend( oct 2-oct 5 2025) I can't wait to book my winter weekend getaway in Feb..

We come each year to spend a weekend in Harper’s Ferry. We usually come in the summer but decided to do fall this year. We mostly enjoyed our stay but not a fan of all of the Halloween decorations, etc. It was possibly even busier in the campground than the summer. I will say every year I am impressed by whomever buys your store merchandise. Clothes are super cute. Camp store is always nice

We stayed in a deluxe cabin which was very nice. The mattress in the private bedroom was a little worn but doable. We enjoyed all the activities offered. Staff was always pleasant and professional, especially when there was a broken pipe caused by a camper. We were without water for 3 hours and the maintenance people worked hard to fix it efficiently and quickly.

Honestly, not what I expected for $269 a night the air filters in the AC units in the cabin were disgusting. Had to wash the filters, the bed was horrible woke with tremendous backache both mornings, the phone that sofa had been broke prior to our stay they just scab a piece of wood to it. Café has very limited menu pizza and wings only. I would give three out of five stars.

Overall not a terrible stay. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Cabins are quite the hike to bathhouse. Bathhouse was a hot mess entire weekend due to uncaring campers. Bathhouse needs to be attended more often, even the one in the store was disgusting. Noisy campers in cabin area well past quiet hours, no staff to be seen, should be visible throughout the grounds.

Excellent stay. But the site needs updated. The pool tables was not there . And had my mind set on playing pool . Other than that it was wonderful. Good friendly staff. And having activities was also a plus.

My wife and I took our AWESOME Grandson to camp in a cabin at this KOA, It was Awesome and all of the activities were fun. My Grandson made a new friend while we were there, it was one of the other campers that was there with his family and they were from New York.

The experience was great. Only downside was the cabin was not very clean and some if the outlets were not secure to the wall. For what it costs the cabins should be cleaner. Cobwebs and dust everywhere, dishes were dirty etc.

Everything was amazing except construction on the cabin next to us at 7AM-8AM. By 8 AM it was done, could have easily started at 8 or later. Or even a warning at check in would have been nice.

Lots of litter on ground around cabin. Heavy Cabin door dragged making it difficult to use. Bathrooms could have been cleaner. Pool area very clean and nice. Week after Labor Day- most ammenities were closed or on limited hours. Outdoor breakast pavilion was good. Dog park gates high off ground. 1 of my dogs went under and found her way to the busy canpground entrance. Overall excell

Compared to other KOA's, this one could take some notes. Weekly activities are severely underwhelming, and it does not seem there is any maintenance for bugs (three summers we have witnessed this). However, the location is perfectly sandwiched between Harper's Ferry and easily accessible areas like Frederick and Shepherdstown.

A beautiful location close to great hikes and history. The team at this KOA are very friendly and the service level is high. Easy to navigate for big rigs. Facilities are consistently clean and well maintained. After the July 4th weekend, the team diligently cleaned every vacated space of debris and the usual camping detritus left by weekenders. In two days camp was back to normal. Put this campground on your must visit list.

Great location. Some spots are a little difficult and be careful of poison ivy. But staff is friendly, bathrooms are clean, and had good amount to do at the campground. (Also just wish the pool had an adults happy hour)
