Everything was great and the new upgrades are nice. We had a bee problem in our cabin. Spent the weekend killing bees. They are coming in the windows. Staff said it was just treated. But the gaps in the windows don’t keep them out.

Our first time in a patio cabin and we loved it. The bonus was trick or treating. Halloween is one of our favorite holidays. We loved seeing all the decorations and the other campers dressed up.

Everything was great except we couldn’t get the voice on FOX News station on the TV in our rented cabin…isn’t that strange…CNN and all other stations work, but who watches them!!!

The only thing I did not like was that I have had the same RV site for a few years only to find out that someone rented it for next year (2024) and I had to scramble to get another site close to family. We have 6 sites all next to or across from each other. Very unhappy about that change in policy, I can imagine that I am not the only person to have an issue with that.

Been coming since about 2010 for Halloween camping. Started with about 14 of us. There are about 30 of us now and always growing as family sees our fun times. Thanks!

We had a great time Halloween camping and loved all the activities! Beware of the Haunted House though! It was scarier than we anticipated! Would prob not recommend for younger children but was very well done and would recommend for older kids and adults! If you are able Tomas a parent go through once first to check it out! Each kid is different and just wanted to throw this out there!

Great stay with family staying in cabin. Lots of fun things for the children. Shuttle from National Park was great. Only downside was how tight the RV spots are. For 1 day we had no neighbor on one side so we could stretch out, but after a 40 footer came next to us it was really tight.

I am very happy with your reservations system - I upgraded my tent site to a cabin and was still charged a cancellation fee. I believe this should have been waived and will need to think about using KOA in the future. In rating just Harpers Ferry/Civil War Battlefields, it was the best KOA we have stayed at. It was clean, it was well staffed, and it had pretty of extra activities.

We have visited HF KOA several times and stay cabin section K127 - K136 b/c they offer prime privacy and are set back in the woods. We "upgraded" this year to a double cabin (K233) and were severely disappointed in the hazards of the cabin site. There is a sever ravine and drastic hill. Very much a tripping hazard and danger to comfortably gather around the fire. These sites need attention.

The campground is clean but a little worn out. We stayed in a deluxe cabin which was clean but worn out as well. Nice pool and camp store. We plan on visiting again.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin for two nights with our dogs. The cabin was spacious and exceptionally clean. It was extremely hot and the air conditioner could not keep up with it. The entry door did not fit the frame and let in a lot of hot air. These were the only issues we had, which were fixable. The grounds were clean, everyone was friendly. .

If you are visiting the area, this would be a good place to stay. However, it was a larger park and more crowded than we enjoy. The driveway to the cabin was steep and a little dicey. Camp store was well stocked and the pancake breakfast was enjoyable.

The cabin site we had K233 was down a steep embankment. There was an erosion washout down the center of the site that had a piece of weathered pressboard over it. I slipped in the washout and scratched my leg on the pressboard. Could only put 1-2 camp chairs out b/c site was so unlevel. Also, VERY far from the bathrooms. Pool was nice.

We had a great time! We were sad that the jumping pillow and pool closed early. We also came during the week instead of a weekend which I know may have had something to do with it- we were surprised to not see Grapes and Grinds open while we were there. We also would have loved just a one-sheet information sheet on some of the amenities and special events. We were unsure of the times

As a returning camper, I truly enjoy every time I come. Cabin is clean and cozy. Had a bit of an ant issue, but not bad. The bed in the deluxe cabin is not too comfortable, but it was ok for a couple of nights. Everything on the grounds is so clean and my friends really enjoyed it too. I noticed a few renovations that make Everything look great.

We have stayed at many KOA campgrounds throughout the years and everyone in my family agreed this KOA was the best we have stayed at. Whoever is in charge has really put a lot of effort into creating a great space. We only stayed 4 days but you would need a full week to experience all this campground and Harpers Ferry has to offer. Amazing location and so many amenities and activities. 10/10!

We did not go to the battle field. We very much enjoyed our stay. We have been several times before but with our camper. First time in a cabin and it was great. Clean with nice amenities.

We loved how the campground was laid out, loved that we had a cabin exactly across from the pool, it made it handicap accessible for our special needs child who LOVES to swim. The office and grounds people were amazing, the game room employee was a little rude. We really enjoyed that it was located near places to do things! It was really hard to leave after our stay! Definitely will be back again!

We have been to this KOA a few times and always enjoy our stay. Lodging options are great and we love the pool. 2 disappointments during this most recent visit were that the bouncing pillow was not available and the sewage odor made it unpleasant to sit outdoors.

Rented a cabin. Key was very hard to use ( didn't lock & unlock easily). We are seniors. There was no steps or walkways to front door. Had to walk up a 3 or 4 foot hill. Very difficult for us. The kitchen & bathroom had ants. On a positive note the bed was very comfortable & Clean.

Was NOT made aware that most things would not be open during our stay of Mon-Wed. The only reason I enjoy your campground, usually, is for the ease of the cafe’, the fun activities- jumping pillow for my children, and the coffee shop for me. Nothing was open!!! Our stay was amazing! The cabin was wonderful, the amenities were great, and we noticed all the updates since we were there last. The staff were all lovely and helpful, and the camp store had everything we needed. We couldn't say enough about this place. We will keep coming back again and again! Our cabin was clean and well organized. The people were all friendly. Our kids and grandkids who were in a trailer loved it also. The young ones especially liked the movie theatre and the pool. It's a truly wonderful place.

Learned that we shouldn't have camped there till the warmer weather when they open the whole campground. All campers were in one location, close to road and local homes. I didn't enjoy my view of the locals homes that were less than 100 ft from our site. I was hoping to be in the wooded area . But service was great. Employees were friendly. I would go back when they open the whole facility.
