I rented a luxery cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. It had everything I needed. I loved walking my dogs on the paths and returning to my cozy cabin.

Lovely sites and close to town! Cabin gave my girlfriend a splinter tho, so no 5 stars

We stayed 3 nights in a deluxe cabin , the cabin was very dusty and had alot of cobwebs! We also experienced lots of ants!! They are wayyy too close together no privacy at all!! We were disappointed everything was closed except camping store and game room !A holiday movie showing would have been nice !! A small coffee pot would have been convenient as well , had to go out each morning to get !!

Hello - While our stay was very nice I was disappointed to see that the bath house/ bathroom was very far from our cabin. The one close to our cabin was closed for the season. Might have been a good idea to note or mention that in the reservation. I have very bad arthritis in both my knees and it was challenging to get to the facilities being so far away. Thank you.

We were a little disappointed. The heater would not go above 68, it was very cold in the cabin and when the bedroom door was closed, it got even colder in the rest of the cabin. One morning woke up to 63 degrees so had to go buy a space heater. We brought coffee not anticipating a Keurig and the gift shop didn't see keurig cups? So had to go buy some.

The accommodations were fine, but I wish there was more to do in the winter months. I thought Grapes and Grinds would be open, in addition to the food options and the jumping pillow. There is not much to do, for kids, in the winter months. Looks like a great place for summer months. The location is cool, though. Close to Harpers Ferry and Shepardstown.

Stay was good, but cottages aren’t being maintained as well as hoped, considering the cost has gone up significantly each year. In 21 stay was 350$, 22, stay was 430$, 23 projected cost is over 500$ The cost is more than a 2 nt stay at a nice hotel We stayed in K102. Floor is starting to rot & get soft in the bathroom, cottage door doesnt shut, we discovered roaches this yr

Great location, nice facilities. Lack of enforcement of quiet time was a downer. There were several sites near our site that were extremely loud way past the requested quiet time.

Stayed in deluxe cabin. Very nice. Camping staff were very nice a located my daughter in an RV site next to the cabin which made for a very nice family outing.

Camp store totally stocked with everything you need. Pancake breakfast was awesome. The woman that runs the Grapes and Grinds was so nice to talk with. Our 3 teenage kids loved it!

Deluxe cabin had great space. The shower did not drain. That should not have happened for the price we paid. There were 2 light bulbs that worked in the entire cabin.. More attention and up keep needs to be done on cabins. When we told the desk about the shower, the response was "still". Would not pay deluxe cabin price again.

We stay at Harper’s Ferry every year and we absolutely love it. My family can’t wait til next year!

There was black mold in the cabin under the roof and on the bathroom walls. It was advertised as "Halloweekend" but all events ended Saturday (the day before we arrived) and there wasn't even trick-or-treating on Halloween. The jumping pillow and all of the indoor amenities were closed the entire time. It was a complete waste of time and money and a huge letdown to my kids. I doubt we'll be back.

Harpers Ferry KOA is our favorite campground The WIFI is not the best and the mens and womens bathroom located in rear by soda machine was always out of hand soap and not the cleanest. The bathrooms near the playground were much better.

Great campgrounds, great people, great hospitality, great times, and great memories. My family and I enjoy camping at Harpers Ferry every year.

My deluxe cabin 106 far exceeded my expectations. It was immaculate and nicely furnished. The cabin has all the necessities for comfort .

We love KOA harpers ferry, it's close to where we live, ammeities are awesome, always something to do and plenty of activities to keep the kids busy. We tent camp often and just tried a camping cabin, saved a lot of time setting up, had heat/ac and comfortable.

PHENOMENAL facility- we came for Halloween and will be returning every year from now on! great festivities, AWESOME haunted house, amazing staff- THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS WEEKEND GREAT!!!

Very enjoyable stay with a very welcome attitude from everyone. Couple of things starting to need attention. Hand dryer in men's room not working. Some of the roadway intersections are showing wear and starting to create a bit of a hazard, but nothing serious. Our cabin(129) door was out of whack and did not open and close smoothly, again, just a point of interest, not a problem.

Stay was great! We had a Delux cabin and loved it! The only suggestion i would make is that then bathtub could have been a little cleaner! Had to clean it before putting my kids in it for a bath!
Oct 29, 2022
I had a wonderful time and found the cabin to be very cozy.
Oct 26, 2022
I arrived after hours but checking in was as simple as it could possibly be. We stayed in a cabin along the side of the big hill and we had a great time as always. We absolutely love the mattresses in the cabins, especially compared to other campgrounds that use thin and uncomfortable ones. The bathrooms were somehow colder than outside, which was kind of odd, but they were clean and well stocked.
Oct 25, 2022
Everything is great at this KOA. My only complaint is the phone service to the office is difficult to get through and frustrating. The wi-fi needs help in the campground- but we are camping and that’s really not the point anyway!

Great place to camp. Perfect for families!

The deluxe cabin we stayed in needs a little attention. Lights weren’t all working and it was very dusty with cob webs. Otherwise we loved it.

Been coming here for the last nine years with a large group of friends, and we have a great time every single year! Lots of activities for the kids around Halloween, tons of amenities and easy access to battlefield, hiking and downtown Harpers Ferry. Keep up the great work!

It’s was nice, I remember it being better 3 years ago on our first visit. A bit over priced for what it is. And I was charged more than my YEAR prior reservation. All in all my family had a fun time.

Our family truly loves this particularly koa. Its clean, great space and alot community things to do.

Overall loved the location and history behind the area. Would definitely stay again and would recommend. Here are a few areas worthy of management's attention. Would highly recommend that housekeeping and maintenance be given a punch list of items to check once a cabin is vacated. Our cabin required four new lightbulbs, the floors needed to be mopped, and the firepit was full of garbage.
Oct 19, 2022
The cabin was not cleaned at all after after the guests before us. The cabin bathroom was filthy. Almost everything on the site is closed during the week. For the price paid, it was not worth it at all.

The camp grounds seemed dirty-trash places, unkempt. The soap dispensers in the Womens bathroom is a joke. Someone installed them so close to the counter top you can barely get your hand under it and push the lever to get soap.
Oct 13, 2022
I would give it a rating of 5 stars but the upkeep on the bathhouse near the cabins without bathrooms and tent area left a lot to be desired with the staff keeping up on the cleaning. I do understand that you are short staffed but with a full campground that weekend the bathrooms should have been kept up with. We have already booked to come back next year but may not if we find same situation.
Oct 13, 2022
Location lovely. Facilities need attention/cleaning. Lock on cabin door malfunctioned/had to be removed at 11 pm or we’d have been locked in. We were disappointed businesses in town were closed - late in season (?) ie. coffee shop morning we left… Loved little wine/beer cafe (can’t remember interesting name) accidentally discovered when we drove in M eve.

Had a great time great weather also, the whole family was accommodated well thanks for everything !!

Our group has been coming in October for 11 years, always have a great time. Already booked for 2023.
Oct 11, 2022
I rented the bunkhouse the campgrounds and activities were great. Unfortunately, there is no way to plug in the microwave without moving it to another room. There were german roaches throughout. This space should be treated regularly for roaches.

Stayed in barebones/rustic Cabin. The check in process was easy but didn’t receive wifi or parking instructions. My other friends got that information luckily. Cabin was very clean. One outlet. The heater worked well. The door was a bit confusing to open with the rope latch and was very noisy at night trying to leave for the bathrooms. Just FYI. Bathrooms were clean. Nice place to stay

Thoroughly enjoyed! Fun Halloween activities

We love staying at the RV park. Staff is always eager to help, and sites are in great shape. Close to must-see areas and great eateries.

Very fun weekend! We took three teenagers and they had a great time at basketball, volleyball and the arcade. There's a lot for kids to do. We did rafting at River Riders--there is a walking path there from the campground. The only negative is the lack of knowledge of the employees at registration. I called ahead to find out what was there, and they didn't know much. As a result, we brought lots of unnecessary stuff. When checking in, they sent us to the wrong cabin (in a completely different area). Here's some info in case it can help someone be more informed than we were: The camp store is well-stocked. They have all the basics, plus beer and wine. Wood is $7 per bundle and they will deliver to your site. Coffee is available at Grapes and Grinds. The lady that worked there is very knowledgeable--go to her with questions about the area. There are a couple of restaurants that deliver to the campground. Those were advertised on the map we got at registration. The pavilion sells pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage and coffee during the summer season 8-11am. We stayed in cabin KL05. KL01-KL07 are lodges with bathrooms. Don't confuse them with K101, etc. I don't know why they don't change the numbers...the staff can't even keep it straight. Anyway, the ones that start with KL are lodges (L for lodge). Ours was nice, clean and had the most comfortable queen mattress we've found in a campground cabin. Here's what's in the lodge, so maybe you won't have to pack so much: The queen bed is made with clean linens and pillows. There's a set of linens and pillows for the twin beds. All were fresh and clean. We only needed a fitted full sheet to cover the futon. There was a coverlet and pillow for that, but we didn't see any sheets. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom. There are also hotel style shampoos and bar soaps. Bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths are provided. In the kitchen, there is a full-sized refrigerator with top freezer. There's a microwave and two-burner stove. No oven. There's a Kuerig with four pods of various flavors. There are pots and pans, eating and cooking utensils, bowls, a cutting board, cups and glasses, and measuring cups and spoons. There's dish detergent and a clean towel. There are paper towels, toilet paper and two trash bags. Outside there is a fire ring with picnic table. The fire ring has the big grill that flips so it can be over the fire. If you are going to use that, you will probably need a grill brush to clean it. Hope this helps someone pack. Have a great time!
