Great time of the year to visit. Site #108 was great. Loved the concrete patio and resin furniture!

We stayed 3 nights in a deluxe cabin , the cabin was very dusty and had alot of cobwebs! We also experienced lots of ants!! They are wayyy too close together no privacy at all!! We were disappointed everything was closed except camping store and game room !A holiday movie showing would have been nice !! A small coffee pot would have been convenient as well , had to go out each morning to get !!

Hello - While our stay was very nice I was disappointed to see that the bath house/ bathroom was very far from our cabin. The one close to our cabin was closed for the season. Might have been a good idea to note or mention that in the reservation. I have very bad arthritis in both my knees and it was challenging to get to the facilities being so far away. Thank you.

Great location but that's it. We arrived after the office closed. No check-in information left for us. No site # provided in our confirmation email. No amenities open after 5 pm. We used the laundromat but it was filthy dirty! Several of the machines were out-of-order. Really disgusting and disappointing.

thanks to friends who also stayed at KOA we had a good time. wish the grapes and grinds would have been open.

Very clean and organized campground. This was our very first trip in our new fifth wheel and the pull through site was easy to access and depart. Great wifi and no problems with the 50amp hookup. We will be planning our next visit soon!

Can not put into words what a wonderful campground. We know we will be back again and again. Amenities fantastic...location even MORE fantastic.

We were a little disappointed. The heater would not go above 68, it was very cold in the cabin and when the bedroom door was closed, it got even colder in the rest of the cabin. One morning woke up to 63 degrees so had to go buy a space heater. We brought coffee not anticipating a Keurig and the gift shop didn't see keurig cups? So had to go buy some.

There is definitely good stuff and opportunities to improve at this KOA. It is owned and operated by the same group that owns and operates the Cody, WY KOA. This one was definitely a step down. Check out my complete review on Google (@Lobstahtrap)

Such a nice park!! Nice trails. We had difficulty with one of our slides and their team did their best to help us out! The entire staff was super friendly!

The accommodations were fine, but I wish there was more to do in the winter months. I thought Grapes and Grinds would be open, in addition to the food options and the jumping pillow. There is not much to do, for kids, in the winter months. Looks like a great place for summer months. The location is cool, though. Close to Harpers Ferry and Shepardstown.

We only had 3 nights here so the location was wonderful. We were here in Nov and the weather was what you would expect. Nothing that effected our visit

Stay was good, but cottages aren’t being maintained as well as hoped, considering the cost has gone up significantly each year. In 21 stay was 350$, 22, stay was 430$, 23 projected cost is over 500$ The cost is more than a 2 nt stay at a nice hotel We stayed in K102. Floor is starting to rot & get soft in the bathroom, cottage door doesnt shut, we discovered roaches this yr

Always a great stay at Harpers KOA. My only complaint is the Wi-Fi. It was very weak and hard to use.

Our stay there felt like we were at home and have friends and family all around us ! camping world is just great you never feel like you’re alone , love our staying there each year !

We have a 40' 5th wheel. Entire campground is way too small for larger rigs. Many attempts to navigate through the tight paths did damage to our camper; Trees not cut back. Witnessed 2 trucks hitting large rocks that are well below the line of site when maneuvering, both under tow and trucks by themselves. Need elevated reflectors for these rocks. Campground is too small for large trailers.

The campground was sufficient. The breakfast good and very well priced. However the quiet times were not enforces and group(s) were up till 1am being loud.

Friendly accommodating staff. Nice clean sites and camp grounds. The kids loved the outdoor and indoor play areas.

Warm friendly staff. Clean. Lots for kids. Nice showers.

The staff that runs the Pancake breakfast was very RUDE to our group - also, if pets are not allowed in the Pavilion area, there should be a note posted.

Internet was horrible

Great location, nice facilities. Lack of enforcement of quiet time was a downer. There were several sites near our site that were extremely loud way past the requested quiet time.

The campground was great. The amenities were plentiful and clean. The weekend we were there was the same weekend a large group was staying there and they were loud even after quiet time. Not the fault of KOA. We will definitely be back. Just not the same weekend as that group, since they go there the first weekend of November every year.

Stayed in deluxe cabin. Very nice. Camping staff were very nice a located my daughter in an RV site next to the cabin which made for a very nice family outing.

Camp store totally stocked with everything you need. Pancake breakfast was awesome. The woman that runs the Grapes and Grinds was so nice to talk with. Our 3 teenage kids loved it!

This was a decent campground, I was on site 111 which was a nice site had a concrete pad with it own fire pit and chairs. What I did not like about it, is I could not use my front door because the site are not close to level, the noise end is literally touching the floor just to level the trailer. I would probably go back but will not be staying on those new sites.

This is the 3rd year in a row we stayed here in November. Our kids (8 and 11) enjoy all the activities. We like that there are many trees and most of the sites are decent size and mostly level. The facilities are maintained and clean. The staff at check in was friendly and helpful.

YOU NEED BIGGER SITES
Nov 14, 2022
The campground was in great shape and the staff was very friendly. The only thing that could have made our stay better was if the leaves would have been removed from our site before our arrival. That being said, I would highly recommend this campground.

It's fine. Liked the little shops and the mini golf. The sites near us were dirt. No grass at all. We were in site 152 and the sewer hookup is very far away from where a typical RV hookup would be. Apparently we were in a buddy site but when we checked it the worker told us both to pull in the same way. They should have told one of us the pull through the opposite way. Roads aren't marked well.

We arrived on Monday and we were placed next to existing campers and before we knew it more campers came in and we were all grouped together. None of us knew each other and the five of us could see 30 or 40 empty sites around us. We were placed on sites that barely fit our RV and we had to park our trucks partially on the road or over the fire rings. Spreading us out a little bit would have be

Pros...friendly staff...our site was very nice...nice store...nice location to Harpers Ferry and bike trail...hot water for showers...dishwashing tub with hot water. Cons...dirty bath houses...were not cleaned daily...had to request toilet paper for woman's bathroom (only in one stall when arrived...almost gone when I requested more after 2 days) also almost no soap. Might stay again if in area

Great place and big improvements since last time! Went from seeing confederate flags, including an entire section in the gift shop. Now, none in sight, and now, campers of color! Gift shop has replaced the confederate flag swag with peace signs and rainbow Harpers Ferry stickers. Yay inclusivity! Way to go KOA. This time, we felt safe camping with our daughter 🌈

We love staying at the RV park. Staff is always eager to help, and sites are in great shape. Close to must-see areas and great eateries.

Very fun weekend! We took three teenagers and they had a great time at basketball, volleyball and the arcade. There's a lot for kids to do. We did rafting at River Riders--there is a walking path there from the campground. The only negative is the lack of knowledge of the employees at registration. I called ahead to find out what was there, and they didn't know much. As a result, we brought lots of unnecessary stuff. When checking in, they sent us to the wrong cabin (in a completely different area). Here's some info in case it can help someone be more informed than we were: The camp store is well-stocked. They have all the basics, plus beer and wine. Wood is $7 per bundle and they will deliver to your site. Coffee is available at Grapes and Grinds. The lady that worked there is very knowledgeable--go to her with questions about the area. There are a couple of restaurants that deliver to the campground. Those were advertised on the map we got at registration. The pavilion sells pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage and coffee during the summer season 8-11am. We stayed in cabin KL05. KL01-KL07 are lodges with bathrooms. Don't confuse them with K101, etc. I don't know why they don't change the numbers...the staff can't even keep it straight. Anyway, the ones that start with KL are lodges (L for lodge). Ours was nice, clean and had the most comfortable queen mattress we've found in a campground cabin. Here's what's in the lodge, so maybe you won't have to pack so much: The queen bed is made with clean linens and pillows. There's a set of linens and pillows for the twin beds. All were fresh and clean. We only needed a fitted full sheet to cover the futon. There was a coverlet and pillow for that, but we didn't see any sheets. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom. There are also hotel style shampoos and bar soaps. Bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths are provided. In the kitchen, there is a full-sized refrigerator with top freezer. There's a microwave and two-burner stove. No oven. There's a Kuerig with four pods of various flavors. There are pots and pans, eating and cooking utensils, bowls, a cutting board, cups and glasses, and measuring cups and spoons. There's dish detergent and a clean towel. There are paper towels, toilet paper and two trash bags. Outside there is a fire ring with picnic table. The fire ring has the big grill that flips so it can be over the fire. If you are going to use that, you will probably need a grill brush to clean it. Hope this helps someone pack. Have a great time!
