I have stayed here about six times over the past year and a half. All KOA staff have always been very friendly. This time was different. I requested a late checkout on a rainy Saturday in January. The campground was mostly vacant except for the full timers. With no compassion or explanation, I was asked to leave by 12:30. I have never been met with such harshness from a KOA staff member.

Campground was very noisy despite being almost empty. Was woken up at 3 am by my neighbor smoking on my picnic table. Toilet and shower we're absolutely disgusting. Mold in the bathroom. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Sink was broken and being held up by broom handles. We will never return. Had better hopes for KOA. I'll park in a walmart parking lot next time.

The cabin is very old. The hot water tank under kitchen sink is too small for a family of 5. It was keep running out when we took shower.

We love the place, overall! We just wished that the bathroom closer to the cheapest cabins were open.

Liked the campground and sites. While I know it was off season during my stay it would have been nice if t the Grinds and Vines amenity was open partial hours.

The RV area was too poorly lit for after dark arrivals. Sites are not marked by the road, you must get out with a flashlight and walk to the electric box to read the site number. Staff was wonderful, very considerate and accommodating! Park was neat and clean!

Beautiful campground near historic Harpers Ferry and local civil war battlefield sites, hiking trails and waterfalls nearby.

Great staff, awesome facilities - overall a great stay! 36' foot bumper-pull and I was in spot 197. The site was pretty uneven, but overall still a beautiful site. :-) It was pull-through with a really nice patio and firepit! The camp store is amazing! They have coffee, wine, and a ton of other things - everything you may need! Highly recommended!

Light outside cabin (way down in the dark) very dim. Couldn’t see lock to open door! Most amenities closed. Bathroom too far. Would NEVER stay there during season, as all sites are packed like sardines! Seemed a bit overpriced for what I got.

Besides having a cold night due to the heat not running at the accurate temperature, we had a very pleasurable stay. The cabin was very clean with a large amount of lines to use if needed.

Great amenities, kids enjoyed all of the activities that were offered. My kids did however say, the arcade was a little pricey with a low payout. Activities closed at 5pm. However, the bathrooms were not well heated or maintained. The space we were assigned was way too small for our unit. It was so small it was barely bigger than our unit. We had to fight to get into and out of the spot.

The bathrooms are very dirty and have no heat. Dirty and clogged toilets. Shower room is also unheated. Had to try 3 showers to get one with hot water. Door to shower stall with hot water would not lock. Would not recommend staying here if you will need to use the restrooms.

There should be SOME location for people to wash their pots & pans when cooking in the winter months. The heater in our cabin was loud, waking us each time it came on - so sleep was fleeting. It was colder over the Thanksgiving weekend than it has ever been when we've stayed there. It might be time to replace the heaters in the cabins

Great location; however: RV sites are very close together. Entire RV area should be redone to fit the much larger RV's of today as opposed to when it was designed and laid-out. Can't rate the other amenities as we visited in late Nov. and time of year\weather\closures didn't allow. Worked perfect for the reason of our visit which was late season Thanksgiving gathering with friends and family

Very nice, quiet stay. I was able to hike around the various parks and battlefields. I have stayed here in November for about 10 years. I will be back next year.

Positives: Cabin was great, heat worked well. Loved that we had our own fire pit. On site store was clutch. Staff was friendly and helpful. Negatives: Bathrooms do not seem to get cleaned often - showers especially were quite dirty. We seemed to have the only cabin without an easy access point, which made it hard to get our luggage/belongings up and down the hill.

We love this KOA! Especially love the new patio sites!! Fall/winter camping is great but summer camping with that amazing pool is just the best!!Special shout out to the office staff, especially Maddie and her Mom (ugh sorry forgot your name) for going above and beyond when we experienced an electrical issue. Thank you again!!! They are always so friendly and helpful! We’ll see you in December!

One of the better KOA’s, I've stayed here annually for the last 4 years. Staff is great always provides top notch customer service. Whether in back wooded section or patio sites I’ve never had any luck getting travel trailer close to level In pull thru sites. Back in sites much more level. This KOA while great is getting excessively expensive nightly rate and for additional add ons in store.

Its a beautiful location, the campground is amazing, its just that the registration staff were not welcoming. Their not & language were not professional, I believe more trained staff would have been welcoming, as this is a hospitality business. The staff were rude.

The campsites are not tended too. There is trash throughout the campground. The fire pit was moved and covered with leaves. It left inches of clearance. The sewer hookup was on the edge of an embankment making it not possible for continuous hook ups.

This was our 3rd year staying in the cabins. We had a wonderful time with family and participated in many of your planned activities. Our cabins are already booked for next year!

Good stay. We were located out near the entrance into the campground. There was a bathroom and shower located out there near the laundromat. The bathroom was nasty and never cleaned during the 4 days we were there. The shower wasn’t much better so if I wanted to use a shower, it was a long walk to those behind the office. Maybe pay a little more attention to the bathroom out by the laundrom

Fantastic Campground! Close to the historic Harper’s Ferry Park and there is a free bus ride from the park to the downtown historic area and museums. Very clean campground and super friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

This was a very fun KOA. They had a lot of things going on and it looked like the campground was full. We did some laundry while we were there and their facilities were clean with plenty of washers and dryers. Showers were big, clean and water temp was great. The area was great for walking the dogs. I would come back.

We’ve been coming for the past five years, always in November and this is the second time we have had no heat in the deluxe cabin. There was no ice tray to make ice and there wasn’t enough hot water to even finish a quick shower for one person. Honestly, I don’t think we will be back.

Sites are too close. We stayed in site 158 with a travel trailer with 1 slide. My slide was next to our assigned electrical panel. Trailer is 96” wide, and my awning was over the next site’s electrical panel. I could not have a picnic table on my site, was in the neighbors site. Also doing away with the buy 2 nights get one free is a huge turnoff. Shame on you guys for the prices you charge.

Unfortunately hot water in bathhouse was an issue during our stay. The bathrooms are dirty. Mold on rusted shower curtains.

Great location close to historic Harper's Ferry and walking distance to the historic park. The campground has a lot to do but since we were just here one night, all we did was play a couple rounds of mini golf. There's also a pool, gem mining (!) and other games around the property.

The campground is massive. The RV sites are very level. It's really nice. We most definitely want to go back. They have so much to do.ctherr is no such thing as boardom here. My only complaint is we asked what days and times the pancake breakfast started and the coffee shop opened andneither of them started when they said. There just needs to be more communication with the front desk on when things actually open.
