We had a good stay at the Harpers Ferry KOA as we explored the area. Our four night stay was very nice with our pull thru FHU site. We utilized the campground as our home base as we explored the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, as well as the Shenadoah National Park with its Skyline Drive. A side adventure to Shepherdstown was also very nice.

Deluxe cabin had great space. The shower did not drain. That should not have happened for the price we paid. There were 2 light bulbs that worked in the entire cabin.. More attention and up keep needs to be done on cabins. When we told the desk about the shower, the response was "still". Would not pay deluxe cabin price again.

Nice hookups. Good wifi. Site was “new” but was still not level. Campground was loud! Music played at high volume. Kids riding all manner of bikes, scooters, etc in the parking lot. It did quiet down after 10. Staff was friendly.

Nice size campsites. Lots of activities for kids on the weekend. Easy access to Harper’s Ferry and hiking trails. Quiet even though the campground was full. Bathrooms clean, showers hot.

Love staying at this KOA. Great amenities - LOVE the indoor movie theater, wine tastings, pancake breakfasts, bounce pillow with sun cover, fully stocked camp store.

Campground very clean and the people where very nice and helpful. I've been camping there since I was 16 I'm now 69 so that should tell you how much we like it. The only thing we had a problem with was having to pay a resort fee for things we didn't use and the fact that everything had a price for it. That is why we never used any of the amenities. We are returning there in two weeks for another 4

What a beautiful Fall weekend! The location of this KOA is perfect & central to the National Park, trails, &recreation. The store was well stocked, there was plenty of activity to keep our teenagers occupied. The leaves on our site were piled so high (against the railing of the adjacent walkway) & made our fire situation dangerous with a slight breeze- so we extinguished it. Bummer.

Everything at the campsite was good. All the hookups worked. The dog park needs maintenance, dogs were getting out due to the ground erosion under the gate doors.

Perhaps a busy weekend caused the untidy bathrooms and the cramped camping space. However, because of its convenience, we will continue to camp at Harper’s Ferry KOA.

Only issue I had was the bathrooms were in rough shape… other than that.. it was great.. I think that an hourly check when the KOA is busy would be benificial

Thanks for opportunity. 1. Advised only 1 remaining site (Premium) that could fit our 35' Class-A with Toad; noted many other sites. 2. Thick orange spiraling coax ran across our site (198), too short to reroute; 5 tripped over it, including 87-yo mom & 68-yo brother. Saving $$ for another 20' to get it away from RV/Pad area &/or burying it exposed customers to injuries & KOA to risk of lawsuit.

The camp itself and staff were delightful. There was a big party going on somewhere in the camp that forced us to listen to heavy base most of the afternoon/evening of Saturday. I ready your regulations. One of them says music shouldn't be loud enough to hear at the next campsite. Well, this base was very loud. When I used the bathroom facilities on Sunday, the stall was out of toilet paper.

While it was neat being on the battlefield, the high speed traffic thru this campground was an issue. The entire time we were there. Had to pay for an upgrade after we got tired of waiting in the parking lot for over an hour and they still hadn't vacated spot. Laundromat. 60% of the machines don't work & it isn't secure. People not part of the KOA were using it. Located "outside" of the park.

We really enjoyed our pull-through site and would like to reserve it again. Overall, the staff was very friendly and restrooms were clean.

the cable hook up was not working. we had no tv for entire stay. spoke to the office who said someone would come down to fix. no one ever came to fix, disappointed

There was black mold in the cabin under the roof and on the bathroom walls. It was advertised as "Halloweekend" but all events ended Saturday (the day before we arrived) and there wasn't even trick-or-treating on Halloween. The jumping pillow and all of the indoor amenities were closed the entire time. It was a complete waste of time and money and a huge letdown to my kids. I doubt we'll be back.

Harpers Ferry KOA is our favorite campground The WIFI is not the best and the mens and womens bathroom located in rear by soda machine was always out of hand soap and not the cleanest. The bathrooms near the playground were much better.

Our site had the worst firepit placement I have ever encountered. It was literally up against the neighbors electric hookup. Needless to say we didn't have any fires. Very disappointing! Extremely close together sites that we could stand on our patio and touch the neighbors camper.

Kio is horrible for folks who camp with tents. Should quit advertising them as an option. Stick with recreational vehicles.

Stayed here many times in the summer and fall,the whole family has always had a great time.It is our go to spot around Halloween for the festive atmosphere. The cabins are great,and the tent sites are as well.We will definitely be back some time next year

The staff was beyond friendly and very attentive. I like the different activities, not so much the prices of them. One of my biggest complaints, there wasn’t any heat in the comfort station. At night it was colder than it was outside. Both Friday and Saturday nigh In the women's room, one of the soap dispensers was broke and the other one was empty.

Grounds need lots of work. Trash all over sight, amenities not kept up. Playground needs work. Mini golf not cleaned rocks and leaves all over course.

We enjoyed our stay. I will say that we paid a lock fee for site 10 but were put in site 13. The quality of the site was the same but I think the lock fee should have been refunded to us. I mean what was the point if I can still be placed in any site.

Our stay was fine, except for the campers in lot beside us. They didn't know when quiet time begins. My brother and I had campers that were way to loud at quiet time.

My deluxe cabin 106 far exceeded my expectations. It was immaculate and nicely furnished. The cabin has all the necessities for comfort .

We love KOA harpers ferry, it's close to where we live, ammeities are awesome, always something to do and plenty of activities to keep the kids busy. We tent camp often and just tried a camping cabin, saved a lot of time setting up, had heat/ac and comfortable.

Had a really fun time here even though it rained on and off for two days. All the site connections worked, the spot was reasonably leveled. Played some air hockey in the game room, checked out mini golf. Best of all the facilities were clean and it was quiet and peaceful. It's still the off-season so it wasn't very crowded. Lots of historic sites in the area and right next to the National Historical Park.

Beautiful campground within walking distance to Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. Great trails everywhere and a perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors.
