We have been to this campground for the third time. This was the most disappointing stay as we did not have power to our camper and it took a good 4 hours to get it back again as they had to call someone from maintenance. Unfortunately this caused things in our fridge to get to an unsafe food temp. The pool also appeared dirty and cloudy.

Excellent staff, overall facilities (washrooms, showers, laundry, etc.) pretty good. Wi-Fi advertised as available but only works at office, not camp sites which was very disappointing). Wi-Fi should be advertised as such.

flooded out. water up to the knees and waist in tent sight. had to leave at 3am. on first night of 2 night stay. reimbursed only 1 night. but on the other hand we will go back.

Our stay was as good as could be expected under challenging circumstances, torrential rain for 2 days. Our site was on high ground and we were minimally impacted, unlike many others. We stayed an extra night and our request was honored and we stayed at the same site. Host and staff were friendly and found us cardboard we needed to repair a broken window. Great place to stay!

We had flooding while we were there and the owners did their very best. They went above and beyond to help the campers. They had a tremendous loss of income yet they were refunding ... absolutely none of it was their fault.

We had a disaster of a stay as that is the weekend of the most rainfall weekend with units (not ours flooded and streets blocked b,y flooded water. None of that affected my, rating as the park seems to have some great facilities that they were no5 able to bring into play with the other problems. Not sure when we will get back to Halifax but if we do, I will stay there.

We enjoyed our stay. We were surprised that the game room was used to store stuff during rainy weather - which is just when it is most in demand. Several of the washers and dryers were out of order. It also seemed as if management used them to wash linens from the cabins, which is fine, but then they would let them sit in the dryers for hours.

Absolutely the best campground in the area, I've used them all. Well laid out, easy access to everything. If you have any issue of any kind, Joe will get it sorted... Excellent man, despite the fact that he's from Brooklyn, truly knows how to handle his business... Too easy

We had a good time in the area except for the monsoon storm that destroyed the campground and the area. The campground had no control over any of that. The spaces were a bit small for a Holliday KOA. I would still stay there again if back in the area in the future

The roads are tight to maneuver with a tow vehicle. The trash bins were over flowing and when they emptied the bin, instead of picking up trash bags that were left on the ground, they placed the bin on top of the bags. I watched one of the employees pick up a trash bag left in front of the bin but left other trash on the ground right next to it. The play ground was constantly trashy.

Stayed for 3 nights. Had a pull through site. Practical because it is not too far from Halifax. Camping is older but clean, would go back if in the area again.

The sites are too small for big RVs. Very poor signage on highway or no signs at all on how to get there. Could not have a campfire with out burning truck or trailer fire pits too close

Campground is dirty - the dirtiest KOA we’ve ever stayed at. Watched the caretaker smoking cigarettes while cleaning the washrooms and leaving the butt in the toilet. Washrooms and showers didn’t smell clean after cleaning. No wifi in section c. Crowded entrance. 4 young men hanging out around a car in front of the washrooms at 4:30am. It appeared as though they had just dropped in to shower.

Ice cream and pancakes for the kids were great. However, the washrooms and showers were in a bad state.

We had a back in W/E only, very busy area. Park was quiet at night and restrooms/showers were clean. We used it as a launching pad to checkout the southern loop. Not a place to lounge and have a fire and we didn’t.

The park is nice just not the place for your kids my boys have been being assaulted by other kids their whole stay currently looking for a new camp ground its really sad tell you the truth

This campground was very good to us. I emailed Joe here and asked him for an extension of 2 days and also our trailer needed some electrical work while we were there. On both issues Joe was on top of it. We signed in and hooked up and Joe called his technician and we got the problem fixed. We did have to move for are last 2 days but that was agreed before hand. Just accommodating example. Rate top

Please consider repairing broken washers. It was disappointing to not be able to wash 10 days of travel laundry at a KOA campground. We drove to Halifax to a laundromat. Also, as an educator , I was not able to log on with the wifi. It continuously “ timed out”. Please consider upgrades to wifi.

Section we were in a little tight to get parked and not level. Open areas looked like better option but we’re not available. Pool very small but Washrooms/showers very nice. We had to shorten our stay due to RV issue needing to be fixed.

Fantastic site 47. We found it very quiet and private. Amazing blueberry pancakes at the Pancake House. Clean bathrooms and showers. Loved the COLORFUL buildings. Thank you.

Park was nice. Our site wasn't that great but staff was friendly and helpful. Kids enjoyed the pool and the bounce pillow.

The playground was full of unsupervised children. We often had to remove our small children as the older kids were acting out. There were 2 activities that we showed up for that the staff didn't. I assume it was cancelled due to rain but that wasn't communicated. We had a great time and would visit again but there was definitely some room for improvement.

Staff were absolutely wonderful, always friendly and helpful! My kiddos really enjoyed their stay and want to go back asap, I don’t think we will wait until next summer to come again!! Perfect time had!

Showers were fantastic. We did not take advantage of anything else as we were exploring the area. Too wet for a fire. Our site was a lake with a small island to get in and out of the trailer. Rain (rained for 2ish weeks prior to our stay) not the campgrounds fault. Great location

When I discovered my power wasn’t working correctly, the park attendant issued me a new site. Thank you. My surge protector read there was no ground and wouldn’t transmit power. The new site worked fine.

We had a lovely site and enjoyed it very much. The only negative was a group of young boys on the park bikes running through our site and over our electric and water hookups repeatedly.

Great place to go camping in a cabin or a camper. Wonderful playground and bouncy trampoline, ice cream and a pool. There's also kayaks that you could rent out in the Lake.
