Really bad site, right behind noisy pancake house/ movie viewing and right across from stinky dump station which was really bad in mornings when campers lined up to dump. The site should not be a site.

Kids loved the bouncy pad and pool (although both were quite crowded!), the washrooms could have been cleaner and the sites are very small. But overall it's a great location and there is a lot to do for a small campground.

Stay in a deluxe cabin. Was close to play ground and pool. Felt safe letting my kids play. Evan has a fenced in yard for dogs. Had a great family trip.

We always love staying at the Halifax West KOA. There is lots for the kids to do, the campground is clean and the sites are very nice. The proximity to the city makes this an ideal spot to relax while being able to go into the city.

Choose KOA as we have stayed at KOAs before. There were a few nice touches:friendly staff, ice cream bar, daily pancake breakfast (only 1 very good staff working on Sunday). Campsites too crowded and squeezed in.Seemed like sites were added w/o thought, hard to navigate, many sites had more than 1 car & were parking in laneways. Would not recommend Halifax KOA. Have given KOAs 5 stars in the past.

I was told because I booked online I got the worse spot in the park! Persons beside us had a pit bull and the awning barely opened before touching other trailer…dump hose didn’t even reach the hook up Very disappointed as we waited 2 years to visit Checked out early because there was no way we were staying in those conditions and still had to pay the nights fee even though it wasn’t our

This was our 1st stay at a KOA and I am very happy. The camp staff were 1st class and all could not do enough to ensure we were happy. We were driving into Halifax in the morning and one of the camp staff offered to pick up our bikes at our site and store them in a locked container. It has been a long time since we have had such good service. I would highly recommend this campground.

Sites and amenities were ok but Bathrooms and showers are very unclean and smell like feces and urine.

Very nice staff, basic campground, 30 minutes from Halifax waterfront. Not really close to anything. Great if you have kids and are looking for a quiet weekend.

This was our 5th or 6th time staying here. We really enjoy the peace and tranquility. It is the perfect campground if you want to get away but not have to travel very far from the city. Will be returning next year.

We are from Ontario and took a road trip with are 25ft travel trailer. This KOA was the best one we stayed at!! The washrooms and showers were Amazing!! There was so much shade and so much privacy. Perfect place for dogs and the river was perfect for them to swim and to go for a Kayak. The store was amazing and they had fun things to do like an arcade and little bikes. Would totally recommend it!

Installations désuètes. Terrains trop petits. La sortie d’eau n’est pas au même endroit que la sortie électrique. Besoin d’une rallonge de boyaux d’eau pour rejoindre ma roulotte! On entend les véhicules qui circule sur l’autoroute. Pas digne d’un KOA.

We stayed 2 nights in a kamping kabin. Kabin #37 is off the main road a bit and offers more privacy than the others, which we liked. The movies at night were great to have that for optional entertainment. We had pancakes one morning for breakfast and they were delicious as was the bacon, sausage and coffee. The washrooms were always clean and rarely busy considering it was a holiday weekend.

We booked a month ago . And paid . They gave us the worst site possible. Down a hill facing the wrong way. 6 feet between others. We paid early and booked early. This place is a joke. Never going back You’re better off at a Walmart parking lot. Thx KOA for nothing .

Always an amazing 10 day stay. Joe, Christine and their staff are awesome! Leonard even popped down to our site to fix my sons popped bicycle chain. I love this place!

Beautifully treed sites. We have stayed throughout ontario and Canada KOA’s and we find these sites among the nicest treed areas nestled throughout making each site so unique.

The staff is very friendly and the cabins are great and clean , the area is very clean and lots for kids to do. Would certainly recommend it as a wonderful campsite.

A constant bad sewer smell coming from the washroom near our campsite or from we don't know where, a lot of noise coming from the highway 101. We liked the pancakes for breakfast.

We were thankful that they were able to accommodate our request for a 3 night stay, we have been traveling across Canada from BC and well completely foregot it was a long weekend! We did not mind having to move sites after one night!! Lots for kids to do, clean beautiful campgrounds!!

Great place to go camping in a cabin or a camper. Wonderful playground and bouncy trampoline, ice cream and a pool. There's also kayaks that you could rent out in the Lake.
