We enjoyed our stay and would visit again. We were there 6 nights. Roomy site J11 with patio. Clean restrooms and showers. Staff was friendly. Had fun fishing from the dock. Not far from restaurants and shopping in Alabama and Florida. Especially enjoyed seeing the Blue Angels practice. The Naval Air Station was closed but we saw them from the Walmart parking lot near the base! Fun!

We had a brief over night stay while traveling. No real issues but the night time signage could have been better and the site was rather narrow. In the morning we walked a bit before hitting the road again. The campground was beautiful with the dock and bay access. It would be a lovely place to stay for a few days or longer. We will be back!

Staff were amazing, very helpful. Enjoyed the peace and quiet, the pool, the dock and the pizza!!

Beautiful grounds. Fishing at the pier made husband happy. Even though a few miles away from shore, once we learned our way around, it's 20-30 minutes to restaurants. All the staff very friendly and helpful. All ready booked for 2027!

It’s a nice campground close to Perdido Bay but quite a distance to beaches. The facilities are showing their age and could use some maintenance but generally clean and comfortable. If dining out is your thing (not mine) it’s a 20+ minute drive. Fairly close to state parks and nature reserves.

Our first time at Gulf Shores KOA but we will definitely stay again. Loved the campground layout, shady sites, friendly staff, and water front. A nice campground for dog walking too.

The park was very clean and tidy staff was great in the office. There was one problem with the lack of staff around the pool deck. There was glass containers and smoking around and in the pool. Set alarm of super vision by the parents of the kids running all around the pool deck and in the autumns could not use it. There were several couples of adults.We're complaining, the parents Didn't care !

I was not happy with this place. Our spot was between two oak trees and you couldn’t even see the cement slab because there were leaves all over. After leaving New Orleans KOA, which was excellent, I think they should go there and see how immaculate New Orleans is set up.

Wonderful location! Very nice with clean facilities, and a super friendly staff. Quite and peaceful in the evenings. Loved relaxing on the dock on the water watching people fish. We enjoyed staying here on our way to our destination and again on our way back home. Would definitely stay again.

Great park. Easy location. We went over to Perdido Keys and watched the Blue Angels and had a wonderful lunch. The park itself was clean and staff were great. We will definitely come back

This place is one of the nicest KOAs we’ve ever been to. As a matter of fact amongst the top ten best campgrounds The location, the staff and the amazing two hundred year old trees. We will be back

We were traveling along I10 and detoured to stay at this KOA, we arrived at about 5:30 pm and our paperwork was ready and waiting for us. We found our site easy enough. It would have been nice if the store was open. We both thought that the restrooms need some update and care. The site we were in was sufficient for our overnight stay.

Dog park was too small. The full hookup site we stayed at was so narrow that we could not extend our awning out on our class A RV and barely had room for our camp chairs between the site hedges. Even when club house said it was open it was locked.

Very pleasant, clean, lovely patio site but, Wi-Fi slow, no streaming. Did not use bathrooms, so can’t say. Pool beautiful well maintained.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our site was clean and nicely shaded. Overall the camp was very well run. AJ and CJ were very knowledgeable and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay. Staff were friendly and helpful answering questions. Campground and restrooms were clean. Having their own pier was a big plus to watch the sunrise and enjoy fishing. Will definitely return to explore areas and activities we missed out on during our stay.

Had one of the Super Sites for small gathering of old Navy friends. The spot was spacious and the views and amenities were incredible! We will definitely visit this KOA in the future!!

This has by far been my favorite! Our spot was close enough to the water to see the bay and nestled in spanish oaks for a soft bed of fallen leaves under our mats and extra shade during the day. It was a beautiful setting around the pool area. Very close to Pensicola and Orange Beach but only 20 minutes from Johnson Beach! We really enjoyed our stay!

If you're looking for a quiet spot with access to Perdido Bay you would probably like it. It's 20 minutes to most everything. The park is old but it appears the owners are upgrading some sights. The bathrooms are old and definitely need upgrading. The sights were decent size, roads were paved so not real dusty. Nice pool area, not heated, very cold.

Phoned in to make rereservation and advised we would be there in an hour. once arrived we were advised there was an an early check in fee. We not advised of this and the office staff was rude and their offer to cancel the entire reservation was not a suitable compromise. Customer service seems lacking

Dirtiest laundry & restroom I have ever seen in a campground. And I am not a clean freak. They both need to be thoroughly scrubbed or pressure washed. Walls & floors. The washer & dryer tubs were clean so I did use them. The whole campground needs some updating. The staff was working on that while we were there, which was good to see.

Camp grounds was run down. A coat of paint would go a long way on some structures through the grounds, or at least a good cleaning. The park store was terrible. Candy bars dated from last summer and the store looked as though it was ransacked. Many items scattered all over the shelves with no organization. Laundry room was a disaster, smelled bad, went to a local laundry mat. Stay at mom&pop place

We stayed in the ocean view sites, Absolutely beautiful, this is our most favorite campground, very clean and staff are so nice, highly recommend if you’re in the area, pizza was also delicious!!!

Nice campground and the staff were great. Everything was great except the water pressure was pretty low, only 20 PSI at one point.

My site was very small and crowded compared to other sites. The main facility was not wheelchair friendly and the handicapped bathroom was on the far side of camp from my site. They didn't offer continental breakfast.

My family and I had a wonderful time. We stayed in one of the covered wagons, and the kids enjoyed it. The pool area was nice, with plenty of seating available. The fishing pier was nice especially when the breeze was coming in off the bay.

We spent 4 nights at this KOA. It was landscaped nicely and clean. The staff was very friendly. We don't understand why people post negative comments but we enjoyed our stay and will go back.

Great location!! We took our family here and enjoyed it! One of my favorite KOAs so far. We hit Destin, Gulf Shore, and Perdido Key beach, and the location of it it's kind of right in the middle to hit all of these places. People are super nice and clean facility. Will definitely be coming back here again!
