We have been coming here for the last 10 years and we love it. The only reason I put 4 stars this time was because they are offering $5 "day passes" to the community. An entire day was spent with a group of loud, rude, obnoxious "day pass" drunks throwing each other off the fishing pier and tossing food scraps into the swimming area of the bay. Aside from that, it was wonderful as always.

The grounds were great. The wharf and boat slips were top notch. The common restroom for the cabins did not have a working lock. I had a someone walk in on me as I was using the toilet.

Love the campground. Will be back but housekeeping could do better.Are front door was was very dirty first thing we see.The floor was very dirty. The futon should have been thrown in the trash. We had 1 wash cloth for 2 people. Would of left a tip but didn't. .Just clean better

First time camping. We had a wonderful time. Next time I will rent earlier and get a cabin with a bathroom. We totally enjoyed ourselves.

This is the second time staying here first time in cabin. Everything was nice and convenient. So if your thinking of stay in camper or one of the cabins you can go wrong.

Great customer service.Bug spray a must.Especially if you have a cabin near the water.Beautiful location near the water but zero privacy. Large hill to get to cabins near the water which makes walking to the main grounds challenging with the summer humidity. If you do not like gnats do not stay near the water Bathrooms near the water were not the cleanest and hot with no air.

The cabin was tired and worn out. From the front door that did not lock, to the uncomfortable beds, to the undersized bathroom, this KOA could use updating. Have stayed at many across the country and unfortunately this experience was the worst. Very disappointed. Would not recommend until improvements are made to this campground.

We stayed in a cabin. Arrived late and needed assistance getting in cabin. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Facilities are nice and it is a beautiful spot on the bay.

We wanted a place to stay that was quiet, but also close to the beach. We found that is what we got. The campground is really nice and clean, friendly people very helpful staff. We stay in one of the cabins close to the water. The cabin is one without a bathroom, but the bathroom and shower are right behind the cabins. The cabin is very clean, it suited us for our needs. I would come stay again!!

We had a great stay. Very accommodating and close to area beaches. I chose staying in a cabin here to be closer to my family who lives a mile away. Everything was clean and well kept. They even offer day passes, so we were able to all gather for a day at the pool and cookout. I will return.

I only have 400 characters to tell about our stay and that is not enough. Cabin was not what I requested, cabin was not up to par, sugar ants in kitchen, sheer see through curtains throughout the rooms, window air conditioners were crappy, laundry room was horrible, outside activates had grass growling up in the games. Pool not clean. I could go on and on but have run out of room to vent.

Really enjoyed our visit! Really nice accomodations. Stayed in a Deluxe Cabin and rented a boat slip. Convenience was wonderful. Will definitely be back�. Everyone was so friendly.

Lovely stay! Please do place wifi extenders in your cabins! It is definitely not consistently accessible in Starfish or Sand Dollar. Also, Despite several emails sent to you all in the weeka leading up to our visit, no one ever replied. All in all though, a lovely stay. Thank you!

Staff was friendly. Pool was nice. The cabin we stayed in was not at expectations. 3 roaches were killed on the first night and the ants were so bad that the 3rd person could not sleep on the futon. The bed was uncomfortable and small. Internet did not work. Maybe if we would have been in a camper it would have been a better experience.

It was very nice. We have stayed here before and really enjoyed it. The only thing that could use some improvement are the ac units in our cabin. They often froze up and we would have to turn them off for an hour or so and turn them back on for them to start working properly again.

Beautiful Kampgroung. Loved it!! The bottom shower/toilets were pretty nasty. We went up to the top to use those facilities. I think it was mainly because there were so many people there with one family that day.

Covered wagon was very comfortable and a highlight of our trip. The kids loved swimming in the pool. Location was low key and quiet, but close enough to the hustle and bustle of the Gulf beaches.

It was very pleasant. We had to leave before 8AM and were concerned there wasn’t a drop box for the cabin key so we placed in the night box.

We love the Gulf Shores area and the KOA cabin was perfect for us and our dog! The other campers were so friendly. It was very clean and convenient to get around and for the things we wanted to see. We would recommend this KOA to anyone wanting to relax and have a great time!

We loved the campground in general and the location. The staff was so helpful and friendly. We stayed in cabin F by the water which was a perfect location however the cabin itself and bathroom facilities really needed some TLC. There was a soft spot in the cabin floor and the exterior needing a good cleaning.The fridge smelled horrible and the bathroom/showers were not family friendly at all.

My family and I had a wonderful time. We stayed in one of the covered wagons, and the kids enjoyed it. The pool area was nice, with plenty of seating available. The fishing pier was nice especially when the breeze was coming in off the bay.

We spent 4 nights at this KOA. It was landscaped nicely and clean. The staff was very friendly. We don't understand why people post negative comments but we enjoyed our stay and will go back.

Great location!! We took our family here and enjoyed it! One of my favorite KOAs so far. We hit Destin, Gulf Shore, and Perdido Key beach, and the location of it it's kind of right in the middle to hit all of these places. People are super nice and clean facility. Will definitely be coming back here again!
