I appreciated the text message updates, but it would have been nicer if we'd had more lead time on the special entertainment events. The futon couch was really small, and the door required a lot more effort to close (tougher for children.) Fishing pier and pool access was good. Signage for desired exit/entrance was a bit lacking. An ice machine would be extremely helpful.

I drove in from Houston came into kampground super late at night I had originally booked a primitive tent site then shortly realized it was too hot, lol so i was able to upgrade to a small cabin with water and AC. The staff was very accommodating and I enjoyed the very bit of my weekend stay. Kampground was tidy, serene, and all staff was welcoming.

Cottage was nice and clean but needs some TLC with some things such as AC’s having huge gaps in windows - that being said the staff was wonderful and the dock was beautiful! Enjoyed our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was very peaceful and we loved all the wildlife. Watching the dolphins in the bay and Blue Angels practicing across the bay were the highlights. Staff was courteous, and we met some very nice guests as well.

Super Friendly Staff! Sand Dollar Cabin we stayed in was clean and recently renovated. No complaints at all.

Amazing stay. The apartment above the office was perfect for my family of six. The decor and upgrades were lovely done. Certainly, will be on my must return to’s list.

Nice staff, well maintained grounds and pool. Camping cabin did not have a grill as listed on website and air conditioner couldn’t get temperature below 80. Yeah I know it’s hot outside but get an appropriately sized modern a/c unit. Bath house near cabins needs ventilation, unless you enjoy sweating while you shower go up the hill to the office. Both bath houses were very clean.

This KOA is amazing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We loved everything about this place. We are already planning another trip here with our kids.

We enjoyed our stay, even though it was very hot and humid. The pool was great, and we enjoyed the colored lights and rock waterfall decorations there. The showers and restrooms were clean and very nice. We enjoyed our stay in the covered wagon, which was unique, but also more spacious than we had anticipated. The swing, chairs and table outside were appreciated as well.

We stayed seven nights in cabin G. From the website when we booked the cabin we thought we were getting one of the two cabins on the shore. At no time was the coffee or trash bags replaced. We had to park in water/mud and the grounds were poorly unkept. The staff except for one house keeper weren’t very friendly. We may come back and I hope you raise your standards, KOA usually has higher on

The pool was nice as well and the grounds were clean. We stayed in Kabin KKF which was rustic but pleasant. The big concern was that the exterior of our cabin alone was flooded by sprinklers or something so when you would park it was in a big puddle with no way to get around it so our shoes were always wet & tracked in a lot of mud (no it hadn’t rained). Pizza place was closed on Mondays.

The cabin was a single wide trailer, was very nice, the beds were comfy, except 4 the bunk bed and futon in the living room were very stiff. The bugs were a bit of a pain, but the people were very nice in the office, and very helpful. We had allot of fun there. There's allot 2 so there! But if u go in the summer, don't 4 get ur bug spray! I'm so happy I didn't 4 get that!I will stay here again 4 s

Staff was great. Nice pool Front bath house always clean. Beautiful pier and Bay Area steps away from accommodations. If rains the entire grounds are extremely saturated bring rain boots.. Bring a few lanterns if plans to sit outside your area or walk to bath houses.

We just needed a cool place to stay for 1 night. I asked before booking if linens were supplied. They in fact, were supplied. No towels or washcloths were provided. We stayed in a Deluxe Cabin and I didn't think to ask that, but at almost $300 for 1 night I would expect there to be a towel and washcloth available. The campground itself looked like a really cool vibe!

Very friendly staff and great pizza place. However, we felt the deluxe cabin needed many repairs or updates. Also, the parking and road to the cabin need some repairs. Overall, I believe the grounds just need improvement.

Very nice quite and relaxing loved being by the water and I felt safe with it just being me and my daughter for the night. Showers was clean and restrooms was supplied.

Overall our stay was pretty good. The beds in the sleeping cabins could have been alittle more comfortable but they were doable for the time were there. We loved the pool and all the staff were great people. We meet some very nice friendly people while hanging out in the pool and playground area. The walk up to the pool from our cabins was awful and we made it up everyday.

We had a great stay July 4 2023. We stayed in the covered wagon (1st time). The wagon was very comfortable, nice and cool in the heat wave. All employees were nice and friendly.

We have stayed here for the last 9 years. Some nice improvements have been made but there are some improvements still needed: pool is deteriorating and the hot tub timer did not work. The shower head in the bathhouse by the bay needs to be fixed/replaced. There were roaches in the cabins this year. Overall - a peaceful/beautiful spot to stay and staff was very nice.

Cabin was clean. Bathrooms were not. Spider webs, dead bugs, etc. I understand being outdoors but the housekeeping can still clean. I’ve been to plenty KOAs and all have been cleaned from floor to ceiling.

I stayed in one of the cabins without a kitchen. I am a camper, so the accommodations were okay. I brought my sheets and essentials. holes in door allowed bugs to invade my bed. Wish i had brought a fan to help keep them off my bed.

Enjoyable stay. We rented a cabin that sleeps four. The cabin could use some updating. Bed definitely needed a new frame very squeaky. Every time you moved made a lot of noise just rolling over definitely could use something in the bedroom where you can put your phone or things on the side to bed. Catching up on helpful Google reviews from previous stays. I usually place reviews on Campendium for RV parks. ---------------- $45/night Stayed 1 night Site #J8 Stayed mid-Jan 2022. Site: Nicely maintained for a place that seems a bit older. Staff/Maintenance: We had to have maintenance come when we checked in b/c we had no pedastal power. Came within minutes and replaced breaker. Sites: We had a grass site with a wood platform patio. Noise: Quiet and very peaceful. Sites: A bit tight but some have privacy bushes which is nice. Food: Decent pizza literally a 4 minute walk from our site. Gas: Circle K with Diesel 5 minutes down the road. Convenient: Right off of the main road (not much traffic)

I loved this KOA! The staff goes above and beyond. Quite little campground with super friendly people. We tent camped and had a private little spot. Beautiful views! Showers were clean.
