Staff were nice. Grounds were almost average. No one responded to two emails I sent inquiring how electricity costs for my month stay were calculated. Nothing to write home about. �

Nice, clean and orderly campground as you would expect from a KOA affiliate. The only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the misleading name. It’s 20 miles from Gulf Shores and about the same from Pensacola.

The location has everything you can ask . It's central location into Florida Pensacola activities and shopping makes for easy day trips. If you want to do nothing but relax you can easily do that at your site at the pool or clubhouse, which host many daily activities.

This is a nice, quiet campground with lots of activities and things to do. Easy drives to beaches and lots of attractions nearby. Staff is great and helpful if needed. The pool and hot tub are nice and well kept. We had a deluxe patio site that was outstanding with lots of room. Only issue is bring ant spray as fire ant nests pop up, my wife found one next to our patio while wearing sandals!

Beautiful amenaties!! Gorgeous pier!! Unlevel site made it very difficult. Smallish sites. A different site would have made a huge difference, but we lived!! Staff was courteous and as helpful as they could be. Under other circumstances I'm sure it would have been a higher rating. I felt it was a tad high for our site for 1 night.

Pool needs to be heated and covered on chilly nights. In 30 days I only swam once and I only saw swimmers one time as well. Same thing when I visited for 30 days a couple years ago. Without a heater and a cover you have an expensive water fountain. Need to get serious on recycling like your Spanish Cove neighbors. The community center was excellent and so was cleaning staff in washroom.

We were in J6. Nice site. But our friends were supposed to be next to us in J5 except it was in the next row at the other end. Other than that we enjoyed the campground. Very nice dog park.

This KOA has a beautiful country feel. It has an intimate and neighborly feel. Pool area was nice. It’s a lakefront property - nice. Laundry room is dilapidated. Response to messages etc. does not occur. No communications at this KOA - if that matters to you. Pizza exists on the perimeter of the property. Campers walk to it for takeout or dine-in. The overall geographic area is STUNNING.

This is the cutest KOA and felt like I was at a resort. They have a lot of activities and have information about activities around the area.

I can't think of anything negative to say about the campground. Its absolutely beautiful as are the people that work there, I could live there all winter but we love our home in Kentucky so much It's hard to leave it for that long. I'll be back.

Needs a bit of TLC. 80% of sites are on top of each other. Bathroom I was in was clean. Laundry room filthy. Clean pool and pool area, although there are stains on cushions. Very nice waterfall at pool. Need to get rid of dead plants in pots. Did a Super Bowl party which was very nice.

Nice, quiet park. Easy access to stores and fun. Our site had a great view of the Bay. The pool was opened but not heated and was way too cold to swim. The park needs a little updating; several washers and dryers were out of order; there’s a leak in the laundry room creating a small river; there’s a chunk of missing concrete in the hot tub step; etc. Nothing that would stop us from coming back

Park is nice. Needs some updating. Men’s restroom needs a little love. My site was relatively un level front to back. There are many level sites in the park. SS1 is definitely not one of them. The staff is very nice and friendly. The location is perfect. Not far from the beaches.

Overall, it's not a bad location. I was disappointed that they didn't discourage leaving dogs unattended. A father and son each with their own units would leave their respective dogs in their campers and leave. The fathers small dog would cry and bark the entire time they were gone. I told the office and another camper validated what I said but nothing was done. As a dog person, that's not go

Staff at the facility is very amenable helpful and friendly. The description of the facilities should include a reference to the rustic challenging points of the property. The signage on the property lacks correctness and viewability. The ability to drive and move about the property while towing is challenging as well. I expected a higher level of professionalism from a KOA park. My stay was good.

I have emailed, and talked to the office with no reply. This is disappointing. The park, however, is very nice with established trees, a beach and dock area. The dog park is not fenced, which I found odd as they usually are. There are many cats around as well, which I personally loved, just be aware if you have a dog! Spaces are nice, we were fortunate to have a paved patio area.

They have a stray cat problem. They asked us to pick up after our dogs ( which we do ) but these cat are popping everywhere and no body is doing anything about it. It’s ruining the good about KOA

Beautiful camp site, on the Bay, well kept campground with plenty trees bushes and grass areas. Spacious sites with patio, even a swing. Very welcoming staff. Nice outdoor pool for summer time

I enjoyed my stay and appreciate the campers who were there. I was underwhelmed with the cleanliness of the laundry area. That being said, that is minor compared to the friendliness and good service we received.

Wir hatten eine tolle Nacht auf diesen Campingplatz! Da auf der Zeltwiese eine Party Gruppe war und wir einfach einen ruhigen Abend haben wollen hat uns der Campingplatz gleich beim einchecken ein kostenloses Update auf einen ruhigen Platz angeboten. Danke für das große Herz, den tollen Platz und die ruhige Nacht. Die Toiletten und duschen sind ebenfalls, wie der ganze Platz, sauber und super gepflegt.

We love it here! We stayed in the cottages (with ac, bath, kitchen bedroom and living space.)and the camping cabin no bath but near by bath house, they have ac, mini fridge, microwave and coffee pots! The sunrises are spectacular! We love watching the dolphins go by, we bring our kayaks for the bay. Looks like they are doing many updates .

We camped in mid July we rented 2 cabins a trailer spot which was next to 1 cabin. Camper spots are really tight and very little shade. we cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner every night in the big cabin, Clean camp, sparkling pool, immaculate bathrooms and showers were just updated. Staff at KOA friendly and helpful everyday, they do have a small general store but dont rely on that hit the publix on the way in. Yes bugs are abundant and noseeums are out after dark especially closer to the water what would you expect? Our family first time together great trip will do it again take trip to Pensacola for Naval museum. It's free
