Interesting place with helpful staff. The lots can be a bit too close together. Bathrooms could use a bit more tidying more frequently. Good camp store with lots of kitsch to buy. Beautiful area with lots to do and pleasant scenery. Note to big RVs: This is a fairly wooded area with low-hanging branches, but staff marks them well and is willing to help you park. Cool looking cabins on site.

People are very welcome. Cabin I stayed in is run down. Bathhouse has broken tile all over and very, very little water pressure.

Great place! Shaded, right at the water. Nice pier great swimming area. My dogs loved it. Cabins available if you dont have rv and just want to get away. Showers nice, did not use pool but looked inviting. I dont know her name bit the gal in the office was so friendly and helpful. The 2 gentlemen taking care of the maintenance were awesome and had alot of information for us!

We had a WONDERFUL STAY!! This was our first camping vacation and it was awesome!! Everyone was so nice and helpful and our camp site was beautiful! The gift shop, pool, rest rooms/showers were all well maintained and had everything we needed+wanted! We also were so grateful you had a laundry room and it had books,movies and a TV!! We stayed at an "economy" site. The site needs more gravel - there was a lot of mud because of the rain and extra gravel would have been nice. Also, the cable is awful! The tv picture was so staticky we couldn't tell what was showing. We finally disconnected the cable and used our rv's antenna to get a perfect picture and sound. For the amount of money we paid, the park could've been better.

We didn’t spend anytime at the campground as we have friends that live nearby but the site was great, had a nice patio area but it rained all weekend so we couldn’t use it. The staff was very nice and the store was nice with lots of things if you needed anything.

The campground was very nice and the view of the Gulf was perfect! What i loved was the privacy we had because of the shrubs they had on each side of the site. It made it feel very private.

No issues just lacking amenities and overall dated property. Needed propane and it was broken. Walkway to dock badly needs a handrail. Staff was friendly at check in but one staff member ignored me without even saying I’ll help you in a bit. Obvious attitude or at least it felt like it. I would not recommend this campground at this price. Should be 25 a night for what it is.

We had a nice campsite that was shaded but had a sweet view of the bay. The bathrooms were clean and everything worked. The laundry room was small but everything worked great. Location was convenient depending on what things you liked to do.

We had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend! We rented 2 cabins, a wagon, and two rv sites and had everyone there together! The staff here takes such pride in their work, and it doesn't go unnoticed. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We will 100% be back!!

The location is amazing. We ate meals by the bay. We kept our windows open and the sound of the waves splashing was incredibly relaxing. Having said that, the facilities are dated. Some of the bathrooms have significant deferred maintenance.

Clean facilities, nice walk to the bay. It’s a drive off the interstate, but if you’re looking for a reasonably priced quiet place with access to water, this fits the bill.

Everything was great and only had one problem during our stay. The floor in our cabin was super sticky and had a weird oily residue. I touched it with my bare feet and had to wash my feet immediately. I made sure to wear my shoes the entire time after this.

We enjoyed our stay and would visit again. We were there 6 nights. Roomy site J11 with patio. Clean restrooms and showers. Staff was friendly. Had fun fishing from the dock. Not far from restaurants and shopping in Alabama and Florida. Especially enjoyed seeing the Blue Angels practice. The Naval Air Station was closed but we saw them from the Walmart parking lot near the base! Fun!

We had a brief over night stay while traveling. No real issues but the night time signage could have been better and the site was rather narrow. In the morning we walked a bit before hitting the road again. The campground was beautiful with the dock and bay access. It would be a lovely place to stay for a few days or longer. We will be back!

The covered wagon was much smaller than it seemed but we were excited because we could hear the water at the shore line and figured that would be relaxing. The problem is that there was construction going on less than 50 yards away which cranked up at 5:30 am the first morning of our stay and then again at 7am the rest of our stay. I did not sleep well my entire stay. I will never come back.

Beautiful grounds. Fishing at the pier made husband happy. Even though a few miles away from shore, once we learned our way around, it's 20-30 minutes to restaurants. All the staff very friendly and helpful. All ready booked for 2027!

It’s a nice campground close to Perdido Bay but quite a distance to beaches. The facilities are showing their age and could use some maintenance but generally clean and comfortable. If dining out is your thing (not mine) it’s a 20+ minute drive. Fairly close to state parks and nature reserves.

Our first time at Gulf Shores KOA but we will definitely stay again. Loved the campground layout, shady sites, friendly staff, and water front. A nice campground for dog walking too.

The park was very clean and tidy staff was great in the office. There was one problem with the lack of staff around the pool deck. There was glass containers and smoking around and in the pool. Set alarm of super vision by the parents of the kids running all around the pool deck and in the autumns could not use it. There were several couples of adults.We're complaining, the parents Didn't care !

The grounds are beautiful but the cabin we stayed in was not. The floor was mopped with something soapy and sticky that turned my socks black. I bought a mop and I had to mop the floor multiple times to get the soapy sticky stuff up. One window did not lock or close well and the furniture is in pretty rough shape.

I was not happy with this place. Our spot was between two oak trees and you couldn’t even see the cement slab because there were leaves all over. After leaving New Orleans KOA, which was excellent, I think they should go there and see how immaculate New Orleans is set up.

Wonderful location! Very nice with clean facilities, and a super friendly staff. Quite and peaceful in the evenings. Loved relaxing on the dock on the water watching people fish. We enjoyed staying here on our way to our destination and again on our way back home. Would definitely stay again.

When we got there the office was closed at 4:30 pm they are supposed to be open till 5:00. We got our paperwork from the night box but no key. We went to our cabin and the key was inside. The countertop in the kitchen, stovetop, and the floors were dirty. The floors were so dirty you had to wear shoes otherwise your feet would be black. TV didn’t work. People across from the cabin were fighting.

My family and I had a wonderful time. We stayed in one of the covered wagons, and the kids enjoyed it. The pool area was nice, with plenty of seating available. The fishing pier was nice especially when the breeze was coming in off the bay.

We spent 4 nights at this KOA. It was landscaped nicely and clean. The staff was very friendly. We don't understand why people post negative comments but we enjoyed our stay and will go back.

Great location!! We took our family here and enjoyed it! One of my favorite KOAs so far. We hit Destin, Gulf Shore, and Perdido Key beach, and the location of it it's kind of right in the middle to hit all of these places. People are super nice and clean facility. Will definitely be coming back here again!
