I always give 5 star reviews for this KOA. Its one of our favorites.This stay I could only give 4 stars because we rented a tiny house cottage for my Mom and the bathroom had not been cleaned at all. Also, I booked her cabin and our RV site at the same time and spoke with them, and we were assigned to opposite ends of the campground.They were very nice and we moved our site the next night.

We love the Gulf Shores area and the KOA cabin was perfect for us and our dog! The other campers were so friendly. It was very clean and convenient to get around and for the things we wanted to see. We would recommend this KOA to anyone wanting to relax and have a great time!

A small, older, quiet park which is okay by me. We enjoy the smaller, older parks that aren't full of golf carts zooming around all day and half the night. Had a gravel based, pretty level site with a small wooded patio, which could have used an update and a picnic table. Didn't need to deal with many staff members (which is a good thing), but the ones I did see were very friendly and helpful.

Very laid back and peaceful stay. Loved the area and bay access was great. No major issues bit bathrooms by store needs updated and clubhouse could use some updates as well.

Wonderful time spent there. It was close enough to go to dolphin island and several other places of interest. Found a great hamburger place in Fairhope Al that was fantastic Called Billies. Looks like it was built by a bunch of good old boys With a lot of left over old lumber and windows. Several places to explore around that area.

Great campground. Loved my bay view site and the wall of flowers that surrounded it. So beautiful. My pups enjoyed exploring the shore and the large grass area. Everyone was so friendly. The facilities, store, pool, restrooms. restaurant, swim area, clubhouse are all kept in great shape. The fun activities that were held while I was there were a fun way to meet the other guests.

This campground is not quite up to KOA standards. Very nice people running it so the staff is great. But the WiFi, no garbage pick up and a few other minor things were just not up to KOA standards.

The staff at this KOA were extremely accommodating at all times. Due to my experience staying at many KOA's across the state, I was highly disappointed in the poor condition/safety of the grounds and the store. Water runs fluently out of the washers when in use. Dryers do not work. A few bathrooms were updated and clean. This KOA is also double the cost to stay.

We had a wonderful week, the resort was peaceful and friendly (staff and guests). The grounds and restrooms were always clean and pool area was always nice. We will be back.

It’s a really nice place, and plenty of things to see and do. If you do plan on tent camping, we would highly recommend checking the weather. The campsites closest in the whispering woods is great! But it’s down hill and while raining all runs down those sites. We still had a great experience even being rained on. :)

Awesome stay. Very friendly workers. Peaceful, quiet, wooded and quick walk to the lake, nice park for the kids and easy laundry. Would recommend! Had a great vibe!

So beautiful! It's by far one of our favorite places to stay. Staff is so nice and everything is very clean. Such beautiful trees and lovely views of the bay. Can't wait to come back.

We loved the campground in general and the location. The staff was so helpful and friendly. We stayed in cabin F by the water which was a perfect location however the cabin itself and bathroom facilities really needed some TLC. There was a soft spot in the cabin floor and the exterior needing a good cleaning.The fridge smelled horrible and the bathroom/showers were not family friendly at all.

The location on Lost Bay is beautiful! The work staff is very friendly and helpful. We attended a few KOA sponsored activities with the chance to meet fellow campers. For an extra cost, it was a wonderful experience to be able to do yoga by the pool with a very knowledgeable and considerate instructor who also was available to do face massages.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The laundry room was in very poor condition. Need more outdoor activities, bocce, corn hold, and gulf putting green. The camping pads need some gravel and the hot tub needs an up grade. We enjoyed our stay and visiting towns near Lillian. We understand there is new owners and they are working very hard to update the camp ground. Keep working on updates.

The office gals are wonderful. Great attitude & helped us when we were in a pinch. The grounds & propane guys are great too! Thanks to all for making this an enjoyable extended stay. The park itself is so awesome! Great walking, fishing, swings by sunset and singing birds. Loved it!

This was our second visit to this KOA and we cannot say enough about the staff and grounds. We absolutely LOVE it here. The bayside beach is an oasis and we enjoy heading out to watch sunrise and sunset every day if we can catch them both. We stayed during Mardi Gras celebrations and were able to visit OWA downtown for a parade and enjoyed taking our ebikes to explore Gulf State Park.

I don't really want to recommend our kabin to anyone else because we don't want anyone else to know! LOL We always have the absolute best stay with yall, love that there are fridges in the cabins now. We go about 2-3 times a year and enjoy every second on the bay.

It was nice and quiet. People were friendly. The grounds are a bit dated / overgrown. The kids areas look worn. The drainage is impressive. There was no soggy area even after the storm that came through in the night. We have stayed twice and will likely stay again when passing through the area.

Nice place on the bay with the dock to hang out on. The lady who checked me in was very nice. My only complaint is the water in the bathroom. You have to put your hands under the faucet for the water to comes out. Very little water comes out so you have to keep putting your hands under the faucet.

Great Kampground as well as great staff - the only things I would like to see is the hot tub open at 6AM instead of 9AM. I would also would like to see the pool heated. Everything else is amazing.

We stayed 3 nights and it was a great place to stay. We would love to come back and stay longer. We could see the water from the front of our site, it was big enough and easy to park in. We walked up and down the hill to the water many times. Be sure to get up early to watch the sunrise over the water! It’s worth it! The bathroom/shower was always clean. We got our laundry caught up there, too.

The staff were super friendly and we enjoyed getting together with other campers for potluck, bingo, game nights and the Super Bowl party.

My family and I had a wonderful time. We stayed in one of the covered wagons, and the kids enjoyed it. The pool area was nice, with plenty of seating available. The fishing pier was nice especially when the breeze was coming in off the bay.

We spent 4 nights at this KOA. It was landscaped nicely and clean. The staff was very friendly. We don't understand why people post negative comments but we enjoyed our stay and will go back.

Great location!! We took our family here and enjoyed it! One of my favorite KOAs so far. We hit Destin, Gulf Shore, and Perdido Key beach, and the location of it it's kind of right in the middle to hit all of these places. People are super nice and clean facility. Will definitely be coming back here again!
