nice location with marina. a bit of a drive to Pensacola but quiet here. some sites need regrading and leveling with gravel due to past was outs. third men's shower in operable. Nice staff. Chubby's restaurant on grounds edge very good. Grounds could use some clean up for leaves. Thanks for nice stay.

We enjoyed our stay except for the sweet cats who visited our campsite on a daily basis. Our dogs do not live w/cats & see them as squirrels to be chased up trees. This meant that we had to be vigilant when walking the dogs & had to limit our walks to our immediate area. We will likely look for another location in the future.

We enjoyed our site and the hosts were great. We had to leave early because we had damaged our unit on the way to the camp, and they refunded our money for the day we left. We appreciated that, and they did not have to do it. It was great customer service!!!

This is a very difficult review to place, as we were very excited to visit this KOA. This KOA was more consistent with a public/state park campground. The grounds were very over grown, the pool area looked dirty/dingy enough that we didn’t even attempt to let our two daughters swim, the bathrooms were not clean, not big rig friendly, with low clearance and tight turns. Not worth the stay!

Staff was friendly. Pool was nice. The cabin we stayed in was not at expectations. 3 roaches were killed on the first night and the ants were so bad that the 3rd person could not sleep on the futon. The bed was uncomfortable and small. Internet did not work. Maybe if we would have been in a camper it would have been a better experience.

Arrived one day early for my camping at Ft Pickens and booked this location for a single night. It has a lot of bugs but staff and accomodations are great.

Grass and weeds knee high. Washer dryers out of order, laundry room a mess and flooded. Tent sites under water and flood. Don't believe when it says "grass pad". We never found the grass. Roads washed out. Last year's fall leaves still piled everywhere. Adding new sites but can't maintain the ones they already have.

Staff is great. Landscaping needs attention. Lots of guys sitting around on golf carts but mowing was a need.....a line trimmer would do wonders for how the park looks. Pool and recreation room was terrific. Sites are nicely spaced and many are well shaded. Some are not very level and may require blocks for your leveling. Some sites could use a little more gravel to fill in ruts.

Does not meet KOA standards. It is infested with ants. We had ants making a heavy trail up our stabilizer legs. We couldn't use the picnic table due to ant infestation even after we washed it off with water. The patio pavers were covered with rocks and leaves. The swing rubbing the sides. There were ants on the pool deck. Maybe a year since leaf cleanup. Corp needs to visit prop.

We absolutely loved the place. The lady we dealt with was so kind and informative. She helped us check in early after our 8 hour drive and was even willing to move us a few days in to our stay. We didn't but it was nice to know that she was willing to help. There really aren't any bad spots in the campground. They have multiple different styles sites depending on what you need and prefer. Loved it

Overall it was pretty cool. We didn’t spend a whole lot of time at the campground but what little we did we enjoyed. My only complaint is that quiet hours weren’t followed in the whispering woods. Other than that it was great.

This was our 7th Memorial day week visit (in a row). We love the park, but the price went up $200 from last year. I'll be retiring from the military next year so next year is in question as I'll have to get acclimated to retired pay. With the rate going up like it has, next year will likely be elsewhere less expensive or not at all. The park itself has a lot to like and very little to dislike.

Campground was unkept and needed lots of maintenance and mowing. Wires running everywhere creating trip hazards in sites and roads. The store was never open at reasonable hours to get assistance. Half the washers and dryers were broke so couldn't do laundry on the grounds. If we could have found other arrangements and gotten a full refund we would have switched campgrounds. Very un satisfied.

The office staff were very nice. The site was ok, but the swing had a weight limit of 250 lbs which didn’t allow for 2 people to sit on it. I think all KOA should provide the same amenities such as garbage pickup , leading a camper to their site, etc,

It is a great KOA to stay at. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the location is easy to get to. We will be staying again.

My family and I had a wonderful time. We stayed in one of the covered wagons, and the kids enjoyed it. The pool area was nice, with plenty of seating available. The fishing pier was nice especially when the breeze was coming in off the bay.

We spent 4 nights at this KOA. It was landscaped nicely and clean. The staff was very friendly. We don't understand why people post negative comments but we enjoyed our stay and will go back.

Great location!! We took our family here and enjoyed it! One of my favorite KOAs so far. We hit Destin, Gulf Shore, and Perdido Key beach, and the location of it it's kind of right in the middle to hit all of these places. People are super nice and clean facility. Will definitely be coming back here again!
