This was the best KOA I stayed at on my cross country trip. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Clean and well kept. Where all others were run down, this was like the KOA's of my childhood.

Very helpful to us coming in late and gave us a great spot. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed talking with them. They gave us help with our next day's trip further west. We truly enjoyed our short stay! The campground is beautiful and very clean We highly recommend anyone going to Yellowstone or coming from Yellowstone to choose Greybull KOA for a great night or longer.

We have always have wonderful experiences with KOA in the past. However, this time we were rudely awoken by Kim yelling at us. She threatened us and cussed in front of the campers that we better move our car. We no longer felt welcome so we left quickly without using the facilities. We had parked with 2 tires on the grass and there were no signs saying to stay off of grass. It was embarrassing.

Kim, Barry, and their staff operate a top quality campground. As a group of cyclists that has visited the campground 5 out of the past 6 years we know we will always find the facilities in excellent condition.

My wife and I stayed here one night with our chocolate lab and absolutely loved it. The tent sites are small but are well-kept and very comfortable .The camp managers are extremely friendly and are willing to help with any requests you may have. They also gave us suggestions for places to visit after we left the KOA which ended up being some of the highlights of our trip!

I needed a place to stay unexpectedly late on a Friday night after hours. Self check in was very easy and the bathroom was very clean. I stayed in a rent site (slept in my vehicle-didn’t use the tent area)- but was also clean. I would stay again.

We stayed at the Greybull KOA from August 17 - 21 with part of a group on a fossil collecting trip. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at how very nice it was. It has mature shade trees and plenty of well-kept grass, along with a nice swimming pool. The best part was the owners Kim and Barry, who really made our stay special. They are the best!

I like the convenience of bathrooms near the tent area. And the bathrooms are kept very clean. The owners were very sweet about letting us tenters hang out at an outside covered cabin area during rain. Very pleasant stay

This was our initial KOA experience; tent campers. Campground visually/"obviously" well-cared-for. Husband/wife owners/proprietors friendly and genuinely interested in accommodating their guests. No complaints; no niggling whines!(:-)); a most-excellent experience over 4 nights. Would have no hesitation camping there (Greybull, WY) again.

It is a nice cozy campground. Some trees and lots of grass for tent campers. Very nice showers, a pool, and free coffee. The parking was very tight, however.

I would give a 7 star rating if I could. We were a large college group needing a camping spot, and this was our best location yet! Not only were the campground hosts friendly, accommodating, informative, and helpful through challenging weather condition, they are an invaluable resource for becoming familiar with the area and finding locations where we could do our fieldwork and other activities.

Very nice and clean camp site. Didn’t have power at our site but the manager loaned us an extension cord to use for power during our stay. Thank you!

We were tent camping. We had lush smooth grass on which we set up our tent. We did not feel closed in by RVs on all sides. The electric box to charge phones on the tent site was nice too. The bathrooms were in good repair and very clean. The pool we also a great place to cool off after a long day bicycle riding. The owners were very helpful and did everything possible to make our stay wonderful.

The Greybull KOA was the perfect home base during my Wyoming Jeep adventure. I stayed in one of the cabins and was impressed from the moment I arrived. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay after a long day of exploring trails and backroads. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, which is always appreciated after spending hours behind the wheel. One of my favorite things about this KOA was the location. Situated along the Big Horn River, it offered peaceful views and a quiet atmosphere while still being close to Greybull's restaurants, fuel stations, and attractions. The campground itself was well maintained, with plenty of green space, mature trees, and a welcoming feel. The cabin's private outdoor area was a great place to unwind in the evening, whether enjoying dinner outside, sitting around the fire pit, or simply relaxing after a day of adventure. The campground also offers amenities for RV travelers and campers, making it a great option no matter how you travel. If you're exploring the Bighorn Basin, visiting nearby attractions like Red Gulch Dinosaur Tracksite, or heading into the Bighorn Mountains, the Greybull KOA is a comfortable and convenient place to stay. Jeep Momma Tip: Looking for a central location to explore northern Wyoming? Greybull makes a great base camp with easy access to scenic drives, historic sites, dinosaur tracks, and some incredible Jeep adventures.
