We are in a rich geological area, so our campground evokes the attention of groups of travelers.
Beside the regular travelers, we welcome geology and anthropology departments of colleges and universities studying the land and are happy to provide them with a base camp as the students delve into their studies.
Often groups will stay one to two weeks as they get a first-hand glimpse of all the geological events which have taken place in the Big Horn Mountains over millions of years.
After your students have been out in the field, they can cool down in our pool or relax in the shade.
To optimize your field work, we can provide your group with breakfast, lunch and/or dinner service in our own restaurant. Call to discuss.
That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA.com Account.
