Campground Reviews

Great folks who run it! Super clean park with a pool! 5 of 5 stars if there was grass for dogs. The park was fantastic other than the lack of a grass patch for the dog. The rocks were too hot on the pups feet. There’s a river however that runs behind the park sooooo …. Problem solved.

Lovely KOA in quiet area. Park is very clean and many sites have some shade! Our patio back in site was concrete and level. Utilities all worked well. Staff is friendly and welcoming, and are always picking up and cleaning up around the park. Would stay here again.

We loved our stay at Greybull KOA. We stayed in a deluxe cabin. This is our 3rd year staying in the cabin. It is clean and peaceful. The owner/operators Kim and Barry are very helpful and very pleasant to talk to. It is conveniently located by the Big Horn ants and Lovell wild mustang range. There is plenty to do.

Our hosts, Kim and Barry, are the ultimate KOA hosts. They greeted us, led us to our site and gave great info on backing in and lining up the services. They have so much useful info about the area, including likely wildlife locations, rock hounding locations, local events and the best restaurants in town. The park is super clean and well maintained, can’t wait to go back again.

We loved our stay! We decided to spend 2 days in Greybull at the KOA over the Independence Day holiday. It was centrally located and within walking or biking (available and complementary at the office) distance. The pool was wonderfully for our grand daughter. The campsites were very nice and level, with a fire pit, BBQ grill, and outdoor dining table. We will definitely be back!

Cabins clean and appreciate everything that’s in them. Grandkids enjoys the pool and it’s always clean. One nice thing about their location is the A&W and Brandi’s . It’s a grandma and grandkids trip to take and have fun and roast marshmallows.

Barry and Kim are just excellent and go well above and beyond in helping a traveler when experiencing some over the road problems. Campground is extremely well kept and we will always stay here again as we have before. Not a corporate owned campground and it shows by owners willing to help in whatever way they can.

This is a smaller KoA but it is beautiful. Kim and Barry are wonderful and you can tell how much they care for the park and that their customers have a great stay. Spaces have plenty of room and are landscaped well. I would tell others coming this way to stay here and I would stay again as well.

The Greybull KOA was the perfect home base during my Wyoming Jeep adventure. I stayed in one of the cabins and was impressed from the moment I arrived. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay after a long day of exploring trails and backroads. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, which is always appreciated after spending hours behind the wheel. One of my favorite things about this KOA was the location. Situated along the Big Horn River, it offered peaceful views and a quiet atmosphere while still being close to Greybull's restaurants, fuel stations, and attractions. The campground itself was well maintained, with plenty of green space, mature trees, and a welcoming feel. The cabin's private outdoor area was a great place to unwind in the evening, whether enjoying dinner outside, sitting around the fire pit, or simply relaxing after a day of adventure. The campground also offers amenities for RV travelers and campers, making it a great option no matter how you travel. If you're exploring the Bighorn Basin, visiting nearby attractions like Red Gulch Dinosaur Tracksite, or heading into the Bighorn Mountains, the Greybull KOA is a comfortable and convenient place to stay. Jeep Momma Tip: Looking for a central location to explore northern Wyoming? Greybull makes a great base camp with easy access to scenic drives, historic sites, dinosaur tracks, and some incredible Jeep adventures.
