We made a reservation after 4 pm for a Kabin. First, they didn't have the reservation so we had to call the night number and that took about 20 minutes. Then they put us in a Kabin where the roof leaked (it was raining), so we had to move Kabins at about 11 pm. The guy told us this roof was patched, but the other Kabin had never leaked, so why not put us there first? It was a train wreck.

We stayed in the new vacation rental. It was great. It is a very nice alternative. We have stayed in the campground for several years on our trips. This visit we didn't have our camper and thought we'd try one of the cabins. The vacation rental was a welcome retreat to weary travelers.

KOAs are pretty consistent in their cabins and clean bathrooms. Grand Isle was no exception. Nice staff as well.

My cabin was next to a RV that had loud music and takers. The AC unit was spray foamed in had a chemical smell. It blew out cool air but cabin was still warm. One window was locked shut. Having cross air flow would help.

Mosquitoes were terrible couldn't even enjoy being outside the bathroom and shower house was so hot in there that after you took a shower and got dressed you were sweating so bad you felt like you needed to take another shower

friendly staff. shower/bathrooms kinda wierd. Cabin 1 A/C couldn't keep up(temp was 94 though).wanted to charge $15 cleaning fee,we bucked it and was removed. Before I made the bed, swept the floor.THERE WERE 4 WADS of hair/dust from under bed and fridge area. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN PAID for cleaning up from last person and they want to charge me a cleaning fee!?! What's wrong with this picture?!

Cabins were in need of repair. Screen missing on bottom of door. Exterior needs new finish, AC way undersized . Bathroom door locks were inoperable always open. Also#1out of TP, barking dogs. I used restroom during the middle of night, and there was a person sleeping on the picnic table next to us! Didn’t feel safe here. Staff was friendly, pizza good! but In my opinion Not up to KOA standards

The Deluxe Cabin was nice, not quite the usual standard we are used to but comfortable. The laundry room and bathrooms were clean and tidy.

We were happy that there were cabins available at such a short notice. We were meeting family and it was a nice way to be able to visit. We were happy to find pet friendly accommodations. We were hoping to swim and when I checked in, I was told the pool hours, but was never told the pool was closed. I’m not sure why that wasn’t mentioned. We went to check it out and it was locked.

This stay was unusual in that they did not have our cabin ready when we arrived at 8pm. The floor was dirty and the trash did not have a bag. The door was locked and I barely caught the front desk folks before they left. The key was in the key return there. The bathrooms were really dirty this time as well. We have normally had pleasant stays at this campground but this time was not very good.

When we got there, the cabin I reserved was too small, fortunately, the cabin next door was available, so we moved into it. It fits our needs much better. Appliances could be upgraded at some point, I appreciated having a cook top and fridge, the cook top was slow to heat things up, fridge needs to be defrosted at some point. My grandkids enjoyed the pool and the jump pad. The grounds are tidy,

cabin way overpriced, dirty ( ck. behind frig), screen door is a joke, ac unit too small, not enough electrical outlets, $100. + for a very small cabin with no water! I'd be ashamed to take a customers money.

The staff was respectful and amazing for our needs. We have stayed at 5 different KOA campgrounds while we relocated across country. I would always recommend KOA for a wonderful experience. So many amenities and activities for every guest. Thank you!

Horrible! Dirty, restrooms weren't working. Outside temps were in the 40s, and the space heater woul work for about 30 minutes then shut down. We would have to unplug it for about an hour to get it to, like, reset? Then we'd get 30 minutes or less of heat. We've used KOA for years but this visit was the nastiest, uncomfortable visit ever. Do not stay here.

Bathrooms were closed, cabin is quite well used, one outlet, fan and light, what about fridge or charging a cell phone? AC was inadequate, stayed very warm even with it on full.

There was a cold front coming through and the heater in the cabin didn't work. On the bright side we treated it like a early spring tent camping experience. Note the campground was just opening up so only the main restrooms were open.

Needed a place to crash on a long trip, but now I wish we would’ve saved the money and drove through the whole way. Our cabin was fine, everything else was not. No toilet paper in the men’s bathroom, no soap in the women’s bathroom. The bathroom trash look like it hadn’t been emptied in a week. The overall cleanliness of the bathroom facilities was lacking which was disappointing.

The Keurig was especially helpful when the windchill was especially low. The fact that they honored our request for no air freshener in the cabin was appreciated.

In cabin there’svery overpowering air fresheners, no soap in the bathroom. infestation of Asian beetles and a ton of flys (dead and alive) in the cabin. They also have a list of rules if you don’t follow they charge you $100. Parking on grass, forgetting food in fridge, ect. Wonderful. After hours on the road, Lynn, a KOA employee, helped us have a comfortable night and we can’t thank her enough. Everyone was proffessional and helpful. The campground had many fun things for children to do and many places to stay. Clean and wonderful. We will definitely recommend.

Worst KoA cabin I have ever stayed at. Everything felt off! Screen on door was not attached. Grill and fire pit not clean. Bed was hard as a rock. Boards supporting bed fell off. Swing outside was dirty. If I didn't need to leave so early I would have gotten a refund. I WANT A REFUND NOW!

We drove from Arkansas to Oregon, California, and back, stayed in KOA cabins, in several different states, all the way. Most were excellent. Grand Island was, by far, the worst. The water had a horrible stench of sulfur. We couldn't shower. The toilet had trouble flushing, and refilling . When I took the lid off the toilet tank, , my wife and I gagged. The water in the tank was disgusting. Yuk!

Nice cabin, no TV, basic for sleeping. Pricey for what you get. Ridiculous price to park a vehicle. Would be a last resort if nothing else around isn't available
