No hot water in handicap shower even after 10 minutes of waiting; garbage containers over flowing; green areas between campsites not grass but unmown weeds; this place looked like a dump! Close to freeway so a good location and no highway noise; needs a lot of care and refurbishing.

This KOA has always been the worst in the country. It was a little better this time but not much. Instead of fixing the sewer connections they put in rubber boots that pop out of the ground as soon as there is any water pressure (I.e, dumping). Could not dump black tank as it would have been all over the ground.

Stay here occasionally on trips to/from MI/CO. Always clean, friendly staff, like the location.

We were disappointed at the unmowed tall grass which was difficult for walking our small dog. The gravel sites had little gravel remaining. Overall it did not meet KOA standards!

Significant upkeep is needed here - grass & weeds a foot tall in many places; dirty, very dated bathrooms. The most critical concern is how close the sites are - neither we nir our neighbors could use our picnic tables with slides out - worst we have encountered. In addition, the gravel roads and sites were very muddy & had deep puddles - all needs a refresh. This is why we no longer have a KOA

Extremely narrow sites, your door is right over your neighbors sewer. Poorly maintained.... A bit disappointing stay (for an overnight)

I have never experienced such rusty smelling water in my life!! I didn’t even want to wash my hair with it!! Terrible!

We were only there overnight, but we really enjoyed everything about this RV park. It was convenient to get to from off the highway. And their being able to make pizza or wings right there was a total convenience. Not to mention that it was delivered to our campsite in record time. We would recommend this RV park and would go back in future travels through the area.

Whether staying a night on your journey or a several days to visit Grand Island, this is a clean and level park with very friendly staff and good shade trees for the Nebraska summer. The option to purchase pizza to order and wings are a bonus. We will continue to stay at this great KOA.

Office staff is very nice. However, management’s approach to not having sites mowed was a BG disappointment. The grass, and weeds, were quite tall, making the site very unappealing. Please consider at least mowing a site when you know it will be occupied.

The campgrounds were severally overgrown and unkept. We could not take our dog into the dog park since the grass/weeds were a foot tall. The men's restroom only contained 1 stall, and it didn't even have a latch. Only an elastic string which had to be hooked on a nail

The staff was respectful and amazing for our needs. We have stayed at 5 different KOA campgrounds while we relocated across country. I would always recommend KOA for a wonderful experience. So many amenities and activities for every guest. Thank you!

The gravel pad was more dirt than gravel. The grass could use cutting since the pad was not wide enough, and our stairs opened onto the grass. The picnic table was literally in line with the neighbor’s sewer. We had no neighbors, and it rained our whole stay. It was fine for a quick overnight, but it is not somewhere to stay for longer.

Staff was nice and friendly but the place needs a lot of work. Is not maintained. Grass wasn't mowed. Bathrooms were old. There was garbage flying around, paper plates, packaging, etc. The place is on a dirt road so be prepared to get dusted as locals drove trucks fast.

This KOA worked out perfectly! We came after hours, and everything was a breeze. Bathrooms were clean and the site was great.

Staff upon check in was very positive and nice. The grounds were overgrown, pool was open but bird droppings on deck made it not inviting. No fault of park but its location next to unpaved road with dust flying from vehicles driving it wasnt the greatest. Park needs TLC.

Attention to detail needs to be improved. Every garbage can was overflowing. In the bathroom, kitchen, grounds. New tables were in the process of being built, but left untidy with cardboard and bubble wrap in the ground. Having to request a picnic table felt like we were not expected. I appreciate the accommodation of a parking solution for the truck and trailer I was driving.

I feel that as a journey that wasn't very nice, it was not worth a $90/night charge. The spots were very weedy and narrow. The whole property wasn't very kept up. I realize that it was around Memorial Day so it was early in their season. I stayed at a non KOA campground 50 miles closer to Lincoln that was about the same for $70 3 days before.

Excellent deal in a safe environment with convenience to restroom/shower facilities. While roadtripping, the camp cabins are a perfect match to our needs at an affordable price. Thank you!

Beautiful campground. Well maintained. Very nice staff. The only thing I could add is no private dedicated dry space after the shower to get dressed.

Very tiny, but the girl/woman was very friendly. She went over the do's and the don't:s. Wasn't much to do at this KOA due to the fact that you are out in the fields.

Very small camper lots, camp ground wasn’t that full and had us all next to each other. Literally could touch the camper next to us from our table. No staff onsite, no one answering the phone either. Bathrooms were disgusting and no toilet paper.

Grand Island KOA is clean, family friendly, and quiet despite being just off the freeway. We would stay there again if our travels took us nearby.
