Flags & Symbols

FLAGS: Our park provides a safe and welcoming environment for all of its guests and employees.

Symbols that are intended to - or have the effect of - harassing, demeaning, intimidating, or disparaging any legally protected minority run counter to that goal and are in conflict with the values of our organization. Flags and signs that display the Confederate flag, politicians, political candidates or contain vulgarity or profanity are not allowed to be displayed at your site or throughout the campground/resort. Therefore, we reserve the right to ban the display of the Confederate battle flag symbol by any staff, campers, or any other members of the public and prohibits the sale of the Confederate flag symbol on all properties either owned, operated, or managed by Heartland Parks. Guests or members of the public found to be in violation of this policy will be immediately asked to remove or cover the Confederate battle flag symbol. If they fail to do so, they will be asked to vacate the property.

Check-In Time 2:00

Check-in time for all sites is 2:00 PM.

Check-Out Time - RV and Tent Sites

Check-out time for RV and Tent sites is 1:00 PM.
Check-out time for cabins is 11:00 AM
If you stay past that time, there is a $15 fee until 3 PM.
After that time you are charged for another night.
State Fair time, check-out is 11:00 AM with no extension until 3:00 PM.
Please check with the office if you have questions or concerns.

Check-out time for all lodges and cabins is 11:00 AM.

Hours of Operation

General Store & Registration Summer:  Monday thru Saturday : 9 AM. to 5 PM.; Sunday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM  Due to being short staffed.
Store hours may vary in Spring & Fall Seasons - Please call to check hours during this time
Pool: 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Laundry: 24 Hours
Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM. - 7:00 AM.

Wildlife Awareness

Connecting with nature and wildlife. Various types of wildlife big and small may be found on and around this campground. Be alert and give them distance and respect. Keep dogs on a leash and properly store food, trash and cooking supplies.    
Your safety and the future of wildlife depend on you.

Cancellation Policy

RV Sites: 7 Days  prior to reservation $20 fee within 14 days first night deposit
Cabins: 14 days and prior $20 within 14 days first night deposit

Pet Policy

We are pet friendly and allow pets in our lodging for a small, one-time fee. $25 per pet in Deluxe Cabins and $15 in Camping Cabins per pet. No aggressive pets. If left unattended they must be crated. All pets must be on a leash at all times while walking through the park.

Vehicle Policy

Maximum of two vehicles allowed per site.

Number of Guests per Reservation

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, strict limits are enforced on the number of people who may be at the campground per each reservation. 
  • At check-in, you will be asked to verify the number of guests staying at your site.  
  • A limit of 6 people per site (depending on site type) will be enforced.  That total number includes both the number of people on your reservation and any day visitors.  If you have the maximum number of people on your reservation, day visitors may not be allowed.
  • RV and Tent sites are limited to 6 people per site.
  • Camping Cabins, Deluxe Cabins, are limited to 6 people 
  • All visitors must check in with the office staff prior to entering the campground

Trash Policy

Trash is to be placed in trash bags and deposited only in designated dumpsters located in the park. We do not pick your trash up for you. Please DO NOT set it in your campsite. Thank you! 
NO motor oil, discarded furniture etc. is to be disposed of at the park.
Household trash only

Speed limit is 5 MPH
