Cabin was good! Camp ground was quaint and easy to get to. Very trailer friendly! Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner.

We stayed in one of the simple, economical cabins with our dog—and the sandhill cranes outside. We were very comfortable and appreciated the heater to welcome us. Quiet—except for neighbor’s truck idling too early— very clean warm bathrooms, free coffee in the AM! And such friendly hosts. The dog appreciated their treats!

I am so thankful we were able to stay at the Grand Island KOA after a long day of travel! The cabin was very clean and easy to access. The check-in/out process was super easy too. We were able to spend some time in the K9 Kamp; which my pups loved!

Deluxe cabin was nice. Roku TV was hard to use, finally got to some channels. Please provide some simple instructions. The laundramat was subpar, 3 machines were broken. Only had one night to get laundry done, had to wait in line/sit in the room to get an open machine. :-( Also NO ICE on site! Front desk staff very nice! Voicemail box was full, couldn't get through for help.

Super convenient, we will be back again next year. We did have an issue with the water smelling bad so we couldnt use the shower or water in the cabin. But we weren't around a lot and had showers available at the fairgrounds so did not complain. Other than that, great experience and we will be back next year!

Stay at the Grand Island KOA every September and the staff was great. The only reason this is a 4 star vs 5 star is due to no television in the cabin.

We arrived at 12 o clock at night and it was closed and there was absolutely nobody around. We had called earlier in the day to ask if they would be open and said they would but when we got there everything was dark and there was no one around. I would No recommend any KOA to anyone I know.

We’ve stayed at this KOA for several years during state fair. The campground was less tidy than in previous years, not bad but not as well maintained as we’ve seen before. Our cabin was okay but the floors were sticky and the water still smelled of rotten eggs. We had the same foul smelling hot water last year and the office people were aware of the problem.

We have stayed at many KOA'S and this is the absolute worst one ever! We traveled over 8 hours, it was over 90 degrees and your pool is closed??? Very disappointing. The bathrooms were beyond disgusting, the trees need to be trimmed as well as getting rid of the weeds. I felt like we were staying in part of the cornfield that was behind us. Not sure how this can even be listed as a KOA

I stayed here last year and loved my stay in the cabin I was in. There could be some improvements this year: an evening check to be certain the bathrooms are clean at the end of the day, and repair cabin screens in the door. Staff are friendly as always, and we will plan to stay again knowing these issues will be addressed.

We have stayed several times to break up a trip from Iowa to Colorado and have tried every option. Our only issue is the uncomfortable beds in the cabins. Overall we really like the KOA.

Nice location with great shower facilities and clean cabin. The office was closed when we pulled in at 7:30 pm and was still closed when we pulled out at 8:30 am the following morning.

We’ve stayed at the cabins, with bathrooms, for several years and for $170/night it would be nice to have a shower that doesn’t smell like rotting eggs. The shared bathrooms do not smell like this so what is happening in the cabins? Also the ants are real real bad. They need to spray. Ok if you don’t plan to have any food in your cabin.

Arrived 7:45 - office closed. Cabin air conditioning had not been turned on. No hot water in shower at 10 pm. No staff there at 8:32 am when we dropped off the key & a dead bird was on the doorstep.

Very nice campground. We stayed in a cabin that had an outdoor patio set next to the fire pit. Clean with fridge and complimentary coffee and maker in room. The staff was very helpful.

No hot water in the family showers. Handicap toilets were plugged up, a/c not working in the showers. No toilet paper in the bathroom.

First time at a KOA. Our arrival was delayed due to a flat tire but fortunately the keys to our cabin and a map was made easily accessible.

Very nice campgrounds,clean. Friendly people I have used this KOA in the past for a stop over to going west. Unfortunately the new owners have decided to not offer cable TV anymore. I will not be using this KOA anymore, I have used their cabins, they offer no towels anymore and could have left the tvs for use with apps on the phones.

Spotless cabin, thankfully after others that were cringeworthy at previous KOAs. This cabin with restroom, floors, and counters, were clean and comfortable with electrical plugs a plenty. Plus, the birds outside near the corn field were lovely to watch, and the place was quiet. Thanks to whoever cleans the cabins!

Our late arrival with reservation was very easy. I appreciated the ceiling fan in the cabin, the mini fridge and the outlets for charging. The basic cabin was just what we needed for our quick overnight stay. We were placed in a cabin that was close to and within direct sight of the bathrooms and showers. As a mom, traveling alone with two kids and two dogs, I really appreciated this.

I called ahead of my stay to find out check in time, I was not given a specific time, just that check out is at 11:00am. Room not ready at Noon, person was friendly. When checked in later, found thin mattresses. Then we went to take a shower and the smell of sulfur was horrid. Thankful that we only had 1 night.

This was a great campground for the Sandhill Crane migration. The bathhouse was open, warm and clean for those who haven't de-winterized. Loads of cranes in the surrounding corn fields, and a short drive to both Crane trust and Audubon. The campground hosted a reception on Saturday afternoon with crane info, snacks and drinks. Pizza is delicious. Lots of areas to let the dogs play in the K9 runs.
