I-75 Exit 279: South on Old 27, 2 miles to blinking light, left 1 mile on Charles Brink Road.
DO NOT turn on Michaywe Drive, stay on Charles Brink Road until you see the large KOA sign on the right.
Grab your boots, pack up the family and head to the Pigeon River Discovery Center! Dianne Farner of HeadWaters Land Conservancy will start with a presentation on different types of mushrooms then take you on a hike where you can put your mushroom hunting skills on display! This is a family friendly event. These events are popular so registration required. Just 17 minutes north of the Gaylord KOA, the PRDC is a wonderful place to spend a few hours!
