Location is a short and easy access from the highway, but not so close as to hear much in the way of traffic noise. Great Amenities for kids. The pool is well kept but only accessed by a couple of pool ladders which may limit access for older campers with joint issues.Bathrooms are pristine clean, showers newish and roomy. Campgroud store is well stocked and the Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Pool was very nice. I was hoping that the activities were a little more involved like bingo and the movie, but overall the pool was great. Spaces are a bit tight. We did enjoy ourselves.

The dog park was not secure for small dogs, bathrooms and showers not handicapped accessible. Not quiet at night because of the highway being so close.

The campground was really nice. We absolutely love the trees. I walked my dog every day in the path back in the woods. We stopped at the dog park every day to run around a little. The sites were adequate in size. The pool was being clean so we didn’t get to use that but that’s OK. Everything was well maintained. They even had a frisbee disc course.

A very nice park with lots of shade trees. Easy on and off the interstate. The staff was very friendly. Site was level and hookups were in great shape. Definitely would stay again if in the area.

Excellent visit! Great store, welcomed nicely, and really liked the grounds. The bathrooms, the view of the countryside and pond was so nice. Staff helpful. Suggested a Italian restaurant that delivered to our site. We had taco salad and chef salad. Delicious! Eating with view of pond from our site after a long day on the road was great!

The woman at the desk was super friendly and nice. The grounds were clean and sites we maintained. We to wish the pool was clean and not green. Also the mini golf course could use some paint. The playground equipment was all in great condition. As well as the bathrooms were impeccable clean and extreme well maintained.

This is a very nice, well maintained KOA. However on this trip we were very disappointed that the pool wasn't ready for a major holiday weekend. Everyone in my family was looking forward to using it. We mentioned to the manager about some compensation for not being able to use the pool. Nothing was provided. We paid around $100 a night for our stay and couldn't use the top amenity.

Well, I don't think they were ready for Memorial Day weekend. The pool was green and didn't seem even close to open, the Wi-Fi was down the entire time, and water was off all day Friday. A young lady named Autumn (I think) was super nice and helpful. She was about the only one. I do not think we will be back.

We stayed at the Galesburg KOA because it had easy access to everything. The site was clean and exactly as promised. Because our schedule changed we had to adjust our stay length. The staff was so accommodating! They were helpful and friendly, just amazing hosts. The bathrooms, showers and laundry were Spotless! A wonderful stay! Thank you Adam and Autumn for all the extra help! 5 star KOA

A very nice campground that takes pride in their facilities. I would recommend this campground to friends and family. Their $10 per hour charge for checking in early is the first I have encountered and feel it is excessive.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean grounds and restrooms. Quiet and secluded. We needed a couple of items and the camp store had them. I'm a light sleeper so I could hear the interstate traffic and the railroad in the distance. My head was right at the window. Couldn't hear it after closing the window. Go slow after exiting the interstate. The intersection of Knox road and Rte. 150 is ROUGH.

This is my first stay here and first time at any KOA. I only stayed 1 night but this was laid out nicely. A small but adequate fenced dog park. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is my halfway point for my destination so i will stay here again.

Koa Galesbug east Knoxville Koa Holiday the best camping shade,streaming, in and out, kids play ground, flat, we go out of our way to camp there.

We actually found this campground using AI to help us plan a Memorial Day motorcycle/camping weekend and it worked out excellent! We camp with a 33' ATC Toy Hauler we tow with an F-350 quad cab long bed. At check-in, we were created by a professional and friendly staff member in a clean and orderly office/camp-store. Our pull-through site was more than ideal and we had enough room to pull the Hauler in, put the garage door down to unload, and park our truck next to it. If you're a motorcyclist and concerned about their gravel drive, don't be. The gravel is well compacted and maintained. Very easy and safe to ride on. Everything at the site worked well and was well maintained. Motorcycle riding in the area is really great by Illinois standards. The campground is ideally located for this. If you need anything for your RV, Galesburg has everything, including a Wal-Mart Supercenter, and is minutes away. This came in handy when we woke up to a flat-tire on Memorial Day. Super clean bathroom here too! Definitely a nice KOA.

Cleanest place we have stayed. Amazing employees. We enjoyed the frisbee golf, trail, and pond. Pool wasn't open yet but it looked nice. Mature trees and level spots.
