Beautiful first stop for us. The K9 park was enjoyed by our Boston terrier. Spotless.

I travel extensively and stay at a lot of KOAs. This was hands down the best one ever!

This is a beautiful campground. Trees line the paths, there’s a lake and a walking path. The owners are very accommodating. Site was long enough to stay hooked up.

This KOA was easy to get to, friendly greeting on arrival. Great LP gas price and every site are flat and easy to get in and set up. They were also in the process of redoing all the sites. Really liked this KOA

First time here. I was impressed with the cleanliness and updated facilities. New and clean bathrooms and showers, fresh gravel. Staff was helpful and friendly. I had an end spot with a view of the pond, it was great. Perfect spot for a weekend get away. Quiet and peaceful. 3 hour drive from Chicago towing my Aliner Evolution. I’m definitely going back.

After three trips cross country, this is the best koa by far. Very pretty grounds, great staff and new super clean baths. Loved their walking trail

early part of camping season with the majority of campers with a one night stay. we intend to go back gain sometime soon. we love this campground.

They have done some amazing renovations and is very nice. People are most helpful and friendly as always. Recommend everyone to checkout this location.

Wow the new updates are really nice. The new shop in the front . The new electric hookups. We saw the 2 new cabins being put in . We stayed 4/13/24. We stay here alot. And I can say bravo you are doing a great job. Do miss the fishing dock but that thing was a little dangerous. The new electric hookups with the lights is a great add on. New pavilions and the staff was amazing.

We love stopping here on our way through. We camped here 4 times now, a couple of times we were able to stay an extra day. The staff is amazing and the camp itself is gorgeous. Such a lovely relaxing place. We highly recommend this place!

Lots of fun activity options, but more info about how things work might be nice (e.g. Sign up at the desk to check out these items! XYZ must be returned before the shop closes for the night. ABC can be returned to the laundry room if the office isn't open)

We have traveled thousands of miles - this KOA is by far the nicest, cleanest, well kept facility. KOA is our go to spot when we are doing marathon travel days. It is so important to be able to stop at a spot like this one after a long day. The staff was warm and welcoming, the store was well stocked AND they had free popcorn!!

We had to extend our stay an extra night due to repairs needed on the rv and the owners were very accommodating. I would highly recommend this Galesburg East KOA for anyone needing a stopover or a getaway. This is a lovely campground that is easy to access but not too close to the interstate.

Very friendly staff. The grounds are well cared for and landscaped. The showers are very modern and clean. I’d give them a “10” for sure.

Wonderful stay and very accommodating. They allowed us in even though it’s not the scheduled opening for the season. Saw contractor installing patios on several sites which look wonderful. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy a patio site.

even tho the park opened 3 weeks early we stayed the weekend and was very nice. the park is close to the Interstate but was very quiet with very little highway, which was nice. the gift shop/store was nicely displayed along with gifts. we plan on staying again during the summer season when we get a chance.

This is a campground and everyone was super nice. The site was not level so had to use several blocks. Lots of stuff for kids to do and a nice dog park.

Stayed at this campground on our trip to Florida with a stop at Red Hills SP for the 2024 Eclipse. Campground was purchased recently by a couple who have lots of campground experience. They are putting in a ton of updates. New electrical, new patios. Nice. Bathrooms remodeled. Beautiful showers. Tile is gorgeous! Very nice laundry room. Lots of stuff for the kids. Launch pad, bounce house. Sand pile. Mini golf. Too early for the pool, but the winter cover looked top notch. Camp store is small bit well stocked with food items and a variety of maintenance parts. Overall a great stop. Highly recommended.
