Nice quiet campground with all the amenities, bathrooms and showers are clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a pond that was a catch and release where we caught lots of blue gills and bass. We will be back in the future.

We called at 5:15 to get a reservation. No one answered so I left a message with my information. They never called back to verify so we found another park.

Sites incredibly easy to get level. Bathrooms very clean with good water pressure. Dog park was small but close to site. Nice staff and store. Only eight campers there when we stayed. Property was well maintained and very quite. Great overnight stay!

Easy access in/out pull through spots, nicely shaded, well kept neat and clean park, beautiful pond for sitting and relaxing along with fire pit and lovely trail through the wooded area

snowbird, i stay at this KOA every fall on my way out and every spring on my way back. its quiet ,clean, and well maintained (my fav KOA on my journey). The staff is always pleasant and helpful and the owner obviously takes pride in the campground.

Very clean and organized, nice sites. Friendly helpful staff, easy booking and check in. There is a fishing pod, trails, kids playground with bouncy pad. We will be going back.

The campground was clean and organized with all employees helpful and accommodating.They were working on adding better sites for longer stays in cool weather. The odors in laundry and restrooms were not very pleasant. Otherwise this was a great park to camp.I would strongly recommend this campground.

THE best KOA we ever stayed at, by far! Wow, what a beautiful campground. We stayed late October and it was our first visit but we will make a point to come back and have already told others. Our patio end site was beautiful with metal table, chairs, fire ring, and park grill.The view of the water, great walking paths, spotless bathrooms/showers and loved that hookups at every site had a light. A+

My husband and I enjoyed a late fall 2 night stay. The trails and pond were beautiful and made for a wonderful walk. Staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The shower house was spotless! Quick access to I-74 made visiting the local area EZ. We enjoyed Hidden Hills Winery, lake Storey trails, and Iron Spike Brewery.

Our 3rd season staying there, gets better every year. Staff is awesome, very helpful. Everything is clean and well kept. Laundry facility very clean and modern. Great trails for a hike, enjoyed fishing, some big bass in that pond.

Check-in was very smooth. Staff very friendly and interacted with campers. Only one suggestion we tried to buy ice in Saturday and office/store was open but no one around to assist.

The campground is very nice. I was just disappointed with the Halloween weekend, only a couple decorated campers and not many handing out candy,also bingo was advertised but there wasn’t any. Pretty expensive weekend for not a lot of activity. The park and the workers do a wonderful job, no issues with that.

Koa Galesbug east Knoxville Koa Holiday the best camping shade,streaming, in and out, kids play ground, flat, we go out of our way to camp there.

We actually found this campground using AI to help us plan a Memorial Day motorcycle/camping weekend and it worked out excellent! We camp with a 33' ATC Toy Hauler we tow with an F-350 quad cab long bed. At check-in, we were created by a professional and friendly staff member in a clean and orderly office/camp-store. Our pull-through site was more than ideal and we had enough room to pull the Hauler in, put the garage door down to unload, and park our truck next to it. If you're a motorcyclist and concerned about their gravel drive, don't be. The gravel is well compacted and maintained. Very easy and safe to ride on. Everything at the site worked well and was well maintained. Motorcycle riding in the area is really great by Illinois standards. The campground is ideally located for this. If you need anything for your RV, Galesburg has everything, including a Wal-Mart Supercenter, and is minutes away. This came in handy when we woke up to a flat-tire on Memorial Day. Super clean bathroom here too! Definitely a nice KOA.
