We came in when it was raining and left in the rain. The park looked very well maintained, but we used no amenities. Staff was nice. Sites were large. Park is bigger than it looks.

Extremely well kept up campground. Crew washed every picnic table and then removed fallen leaves from every site. Hosts were attentive to every need and questions, if they didn't know they found out and got back to us. Chris was great. Great playground and other activities for kids. Kids play areas were also well kept up. Bathrooms are updated and clean as well. Internet was very good.

What a great park! Super clean, friendly staff, very dog friendly with plenty of grass and walking trails. We stayed with our 40’ class A and towing. Our site was gravel but very level. We had nice grass between sites even without a patio. It is set off the freeway and very quiet.

We've stayed here before and really liked it. The new cabins look so nice and and child would love the play area. We enjoy the trails and corn fields.

A quick overnight "passing-through" stay in late September. The park was quiet. We like quiet! Two minor suggestions: Do away with the pass code to enter the restroom. I forgot it and had to delay my entry to retrieve it. Thank goodness I wasn't stricken by the "traveler's malady"! The other: display a sign at the camp host's site. There is one. We met him, but had no idea. Could've been helpful.

This place has an amazing laundry room and washroom. Wonderful associates. Fun games. Beautiful trees around the campsites. They are working on some amazing sites with, pavers, grills and your own paradise to relax in.

One of the best campgrounds we've ever stayed at. Ai highly recommend it to anyone. Friendly staff, excpetional restrooms/showers. Clean and well maintained. Excellent activities for children. Quiet. Safe.

A get away for the weekend. My husband is fascinated with trains and watches Fort Madison on You Tube. Wanted to see it in real life. Clean. Nicely kept. Will be back.

This was an overnight stop. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and escorted to my site. My site was level and clean. All hookups worked as advertised. The store appeared nicely stocked. The restrooms were very clean. This is a very nice KOA!

What a great weekend at one of the best koa campgrounds we have stayed at. They really keep this campground so clean. So many updates. You gotta check out the new sites and the cabins. It really shows you just how much the owner cares about us campers. The amount of work they have put into this. So many things to do. This is the model KOA that all KOA’s should be like. The office staff was amazing and super friendly, the sites were perfectly played out, and great amenities with more of come. I would come back to this area just to stay at this KOA.

Chris was wonderful when we checked in both 9/12 & 9/16. The grounds & store were immaculate. The bathroom/showers were the cleanest we’ve ever seen at a campground. We plan to return next year.

We have stayed 4 times this season, getting ready for our fifth September 20th! The campground is awesome. Meticulously kept by the owner Mark! He is always pleasant and nice. The store employees are also very nice and courteous! We now call this our second home! We highly recommend staying here! We love it and will definitely be back next year too! The Stricklands!

The campgrounds has many updates and improvements since we were there quite a few years ago. Very clean restrooms, most sites have plenty of shade and are pretty level. Check in was very easy, friendly staff, and they lead you to your site. We enjoyed our stayed and plan to return again.

Easy on and off the highway yet little noise. Great place for camping with kids. Sites were closely spaced but sufficient. Very good camp store. Would definitely stay again.

super nice staff and a very well maintained park. right off the interstate, but noise from the interstate trafffic was minimal b/c of the surrounding trees and farmland crops.

Koa Galesbug east Knoxville Koa Holiday the best camping shade,streaming, in and out, kids play ground, flat, we go out of our way to camp there.

We actually found this campground using AI to help us plan a Memorial Day motorcycle/camping weekend and it worked out excellent! We camp with a 33' ATC Toy Hauler we tow with an F-350 quad cab long bed. At check-in, we were created by a professional and friendly staff member in a clean and orderly office/camp-store. Our pull-through site was more than ideal and we had enough room to pull the Hauler in, put the garage door down to unload, and park our truck next to it. If you're a motorcyclist and concerned about their gravel drive, don't be. The gravel is well compacted and maintained. Very easy and safe to ride on. Everything at the site worked well and was well maintained. Motorcycle riding in the area is really great by Illinois standards. The campground is ideally located for this. If you need anything for your RV, Galesburg has everything, including a Wal-Mart Supercenter, and is minutes away. This came in handy when we woke up to a flat-tire on Memorial Day. Super clean bathroom here too! Definitely a nice KOA.

Cleanest place we have stayed. Amazing employees. We enjoyed the frisbee golf, trail, and pond. Pool wasn't open yet but it looked nice. Mature trees and level spots.
