This was our second stay at this campground. The facilities are excellent and in great condition. Showers and restroom facilities are the cleanest of any KOA I have been to. Give this place the KOA of the year award?

We had a wonderful stay at the Galesburg/Knoxville KOA over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. The campground was incredibly clean, staff were friendly, and attentive. We liked the layout of the grounds, there was plenty to do and all the extras were at no cost. Only complaint would be the size of the sites. Our group stayed in the 50 section and the sites were very small. Still a great campground!

Long, level, shaded pull thru sites. Beautiful, recently updated, bathrooms. Definitely would stay again!

We pulled in and could not believe how clean and new everything was. From the bathrooms to the pool, to the camp site and the walking paths you couldn't ask for anything better. Talked with Mark the owner and told him that we hope everyone will come and visit to see what it is like to stay at one of the best RV parks you could possibly stay at. Barry & Noreen Taylor

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Good sized lot. Campground was well groomed and clean. The K9 area was useful.

We only plan to stay one night but due to problems with our slide outs we had to end up staying an extra night. There was not a problem staying in the same site everyone was very nice and I would highly recommend it again.

We had a fantastic time and have already planned our next stay. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Pond was stocked with fish and the amenities were great!

Beautiful KOA. Cabins are cute little tiny houses and the bed was a real mattress and comfy. Campsites appear to be large and everything is well maintained. Staff is friendly.

This is a great campground. Everything is clean, well taken care of, and plenty of things to do for the kiddos. Didn't get to use the pool much since it was a little cool but the one time we did, it was a great pool. Bathrooms are updated and very clean. We will be back

SPEED LIMIT of 5MPH not enforced for vehicles, including golf carts and electric bikes and scooters. Campers that bring their own golf carts should have a restriction of no one under 16 operating them, and have operating lights after dark, this should apply to electric scooters and bikes as kids were riding after dark in a golf cart and electric scooters, no lights and not observing 5MPH speed.

I'm sorry, this must have happened after we closed. This is enforced and you do have our numbers to call if there is a problem. Unfortunately nobody called and reported this.

Convenient to highway - but not overly noisy at night. Well maintained grounds and extremely clean facilities. Nice pool, friendly and helpful staff. Sites closest to pond are best.

It was a short stay and a cold afternoon and evening so couldn't enjoy the fun amenities. However, I did enjoy the wonderful, extremely clean, and very updated laundry room.

This is by far the best KOA we have overnighted. The facilities were very clean. The laundry looked new as well as showers. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We had planned to stay one night but extended to two. Will return if back that way

We are traveling in a C-Class Dynamax RV from CA. We are in awe of the beauty of this campground. Everything was in perfect condition. There a large pond with a fountain, grassy trails, large shade trees, outside table & chairs at many sites, clean laundry room, super fun kids equipment of all kinds! We can’t say enough about this resting spot! Everything KOA owner should visit & check it out.

Koa Galesbug east Knoxville Koa Holiday the best camping shade,streaming, in and out, kids play ground, flat, we go out of our way to camp there.

We actually found this campground using AI to help us plan a Memorial Day motorcycle/camping weekend and it worked out excellent! We camp with a 33' ATC Toy Hauler we tow with an F-350 quad cab long bed. At check-in, we were created by a professional and friendly staff member in a clean and orderly office/camp-store. Our pull-through site was more than ideal and we had enough room to pull the Hauler in, put the garage door down to unload, and park our truck next to it. If you're a motorcyclist and concerned about their gravel drive, don't be. The gravel is well compacted and maintained. Very easy and safe to ride on. Everything at the site worked well and was well maintained. Motorcycle riding in the area is really great by Illinois standards. The campground is ideally located for this. If you need anything for your RV, Galesburg has everything, including a Wal-Mart Supercenter, and is minutes away. This came in handy when we woke up to a flat-tire on Memorial Day. Super clean bathroom here too! Definitely a nice KOA.

Cleanest place we have stayed. Amazing employees. We enjoyed the frisbee golf, trail, and pond. Pool wasn't open yet but it looked nice. Mature trees and level spots.
