Only a one night stay. It's my halfway point to visit family in NC/SC. Not my first visit here and not my last. Quiet, and lovely area. Friendly service and affordable rates. I didn't visit the area this time but have stays before. Great history.

Took a two day trip with my young boys, 5 and 3. We camp a lot but more in northern VA. I can’t say enough about how wonderful our visit was to koa, it was so beautiful and had everything that just made the visit perfect for my boys. Playground was awesome, gemstone wash was cool, and just a beautiful site. The store was really great too. Also, staff couldn’t have been friendlier. The best.

Firstly, the facility bathrooms clean, staff friendly, and scenery beautiful. A dog park is available. Overall, this KOA is recommended and we’ll use again. The problem we had was the lack of a tent pad. This might not have been a problem if there was a spot without rocks. Seemed as though all tentsites were cleared of rocks and those rocks were dumped on site #79. Def come here but avoid site 7

I had a great stay, we have stayed here at this location several times and we always enjoy it. Staff is always so nice and attentive if you need anything, campsite is clean. The only issue I had was our neighbors, they were really loud and they had woke up up early on Sunday around 6am due to their loud talking and laughing. other then that everything was great!

Was at a grass tent spot, but was very sandy still. The staff were nice and professional, and the grounds were clean. Other campers were a nuisance though. One was a large group that loudly talked and played music until 12AM. They even showed off how their Tesla could do a music and light show at 11PM. Our other neighbors talked loudly until 3AM before they abruptly and also loudly left at 3AM.

Very convenient as we were driving through. Tent sites too far from restrooms. In morning the staff were moving or trimming grass way too early. It was loud for a long time. Perhaps they can do that in the evening instead as we were sleeping.

We had a great time! The camp grounds are very nice, so clean! From the bathrooms to the pool area (We watch the staff spray and clean everything around the pool). The staff was friendly! This was our 2nd stay and we will be back.

WE just stopped for the night while passing through, but we noticed what looked like a lot of fun activities for kids. Bathrooms were very clean and spacious.

Everything was great and the way the staff handled our after-hours arrival was smooth and simple. The only thing I would change was the fountain in the pond ran all night. It was pretty loud where we were sleeping in our tents. Maybe turning it off at 10pm would be nice?

My tent site (78) is advertised as a grass site. The whole site had new sand all over it and not much grass. Also, we didn’t bring our bikes because the website said bike rentals available. I assumed that meant bicycles and not the little car things for kids 12 and under. Other than that, everything was quite enjoyable. The staff was friendly, very clean bathrooms, and good fishing. Thanks!

Very nice tent camping. Nice little store with friendly staff. Clean showers. Enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch of the registration building

I mean cabin camping is so simple yet so many places get it wrong. Not this KOA. It was beautiful, comfortable, heated and just so cozy.

We only saw the camp from the cover of night. We were passing through the area and needed a pull thru site so we could sleep and keep moving. The office folks were friendly and helpful. We pulled in around 10 pm, stopped by the office and got our paperwork. Drove to a level pull through with clean power and water. What we could see, was a full campground of later model campers from Trailers to Class A. The bathhouse was operating room clean. The camp office, laundry and bath house are well lit and secure. Fredericksburg/Washington DC South KOA defines the type of convenience, safety, cleanliness and customer service the camping lifestyle requires. BRAVO!! We will be back for more than one night. We camped at Fredericksburg / Washington DC South KOA Holiday in a Travel Trailer.
