We have stayed here a few times. The cable is not the best but everything else is great. It's clean, beautiful and we love it.

We were only there for 1 night. I used the KOA app to book. The app stated I could use my points to receive $10 off the nighty rate; however, when I arrived I was told I could not use them because I booked on the app and paid ahead of time. Please make users aware of this. We felt this practice was unethical. The girls in the front office were not rude but definitely not friendly.

We had a wonderful time! The staff were all friendly and helpful, the park was spotlessly clean, and our site 94 was quite spectacular with a gorgeous lake view, stunning rose bush in bloom, fire pit, patio furniture and even an umbrella! It was perfect!

Fantastic stay. Nice well forested sites. Great camp store. Close to so many historical sites. Will definitely be back!

Campground is clean & well kept. It was quiet most of the time. Interior roads paved, sites gravel. Road to travel to campground not so good. Enjoyed our stay.

The site held water during several rainy days and just happened to be just outside the front door to the RV. We were charged $2.00 per dog per day but there was so much goose poop what my dogs left behind (which we are still required to pick up after them) was of no comparison. You had to watch your step everywhere. The last issue we had was the sewer pipe connection was too high for our RV.

One of our favorite camp grounds. Manager of this park is a very hard worker. The grounds a beautiful and sites well keep.

We had a great time and loved the KOA Patio. We enjoyed walking around the lake and campground. Our spot was very level and the escort helped us get in just the right spot. Lady at the camp store was also very helpful. Our only complaint was the water pressure was low. We had to run our pump to supplement the pressure for showers.

Very enjoyable time, very nice spot. We were traveling home from Myrtle Beach and stopped for a few days, enjoyed the Civil War history. Such a nice spot off 95. Everyone helpful and pleasant.

Wish I could have just hung out more at the cg but visiting family took most of our time. Beautiful grounds and convenient/ close to town. Two thumbs up!

We were in site 100 by the pond and it was wonderful. Also that site was completely level which was great. We would request this site in the future

Called ahead to get site 85. When I arrived site 85 was occupied and the optimizer moved us to site 33. A very uneven site and my 34 foot motorhome towing a jeep did not fit and my rear tires were 4 inches off the ground. In March the patio site we stayed in looked at the neighbors septic and was not worth the money they charge. After more than 50 years in KOA's not again

Paid top dollar for a patio site. Patio looked at septic of neighbor. Not worth the money. Also appears to have new ownership.

We had a very nice stay at this KOA even though we did have some rain during our stay. The people who work here are super nice. Our site had a wonderful view of the pond. It was nice to sit and watch the geese and their babies. The campground was super clean, including the bathhouse. The pool wasn’t open yet but it seems like it would be nice when it opens.

Perfect location for our trip. Park was lovely. We will definitely use this koa when we travel back and forth to Florida.

Lovely, wooded , peacefully quiet setting. Great paved roads within park, gravel FHU with 50 amp sites. Immaculately clean spacious bathrooms & showers. Many of each. Exceptionally friendly & helpful staff. However, poor signage off Hwy. , extremely confusing direction after exit 118. Hwy. 1 not posted. Roads off Hwy. 1 to park are hairpin blind turns, no shoulders & drop offs. $81 overnight, bit high but close to east coast & our Nations Capital

Ran into truck trouble on 95 on a Thursday before Easter. We needed to find something very quickly and close to a dealership to have the truck fixed. Luck was on our side when we saw a KOA 10 miles from the dealer. I tend to over research before picking where to stay, however, we had no time. I booked a site literally 5 minutes before arriving. The grounds are beautiful, shady and tucked into the woods. Plenty of room to walk and for my son to ride his bike. A great playground which he loved as well. There is also a pond on site which adds to the charm. The general store/office was nicely stocked. They did not have milk or butter but had a couple of grocery items such as eggs and hot dogs. It had rained a lot the night before so the grassy areas were pretty soggy but the staff were actively trying to get any sitting water off the sites and roadways. The staff were super friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. If our travels bring us back to this area, we would definitely book again.

Stayed at this campground many times. Great location. This is the first time they charged extra for pets. Not sure why they need to do this. Maybe they charge extra for kids too. Campground prices are high enough without adding extra charges.
