The campground was nice however a bit smaller than some. Plus side to that was you were able to walk everywhere easily. Everyone was friendly and super responsive to any requests. Only con would be the size of the shower stalls which made it hard for when you have kids.

the camping cabin we rented suited our needs. the beds were decent and the heat made the cabin comfortable. The only downside was the length of the walk clear back up to the bathroom, but that's to be expected. I don't know, however, if I would stay here if I intended to stay in camp as the sites are packed tightly together and there is little privacy.

The interior of the cabin was very clean and had all of the amenities needed for our stay. The cabin description did not indicate everything that was included on the interior, so we ended up purchasing many items that were not necessary. I recommend the description is updated on the website to avoid overload. The wifi reception was also terrible, which is why I did not give KOA five stars.

Wonderful stay in cabin #11. CLEAN, well laid out cabin with a comfortable bed and very nice kitchenette. We loved the BBQ pit and the grill. Great proximity to KOA store. The only issue that we had was in not receiving a heads up that stair solar lights were being installed on the other side of the wall as we were napping. We loved our stay!

We stayed in a camping cabin (bring your own linens and towels) which was clean, well-ventilated and close to the general store and bathrooms/showers. Walking our two dogs was a pleasure, too. It is such a friendly and welcoming place to stay.

We loved the cabin, it was perfect,,cozy and veey clean. The bed was so comfortable, we slept so good. Enjoyed the campfire and patio as well. The pocket door on the bathroom needs to be oiled. It squeaks very loudly and will wake up your sleeping companions in middle of night. Otherwise everything was just perfect and we had an extremely enjoyable stay.

This was one of the best KOA campgrounds we have stayed at. I will definetly return to this one. The staff was awesome and the campgrounds clean and well taken care of. You are not on top of each other plenty of room between sites. Excellent campground.

Friendly staff, very clean cabin and bathrooms, great layout for sites. WiFi at the sites was very helpful with cell reception being pretty poor at this location.

We were there to attend a wedding in the Fredericksburg area & our cabin (#5) didn't have hot water in the bathroom sink. There was hot water in the bathtub, so we were able to use that but was a little more difficult. The light fixture over the bathroom sink ( middle bulb) was continually blinking & also was a pain for my wife trying to get her makeup done. The park was very clean & quiet. We.

Stayed this time in a cabin and loved it! Great friendly staff as always. Store with everything you could need in a pinch including Virginia beer. Firewood delivered to your site as needed. Fantastic place.

It was alright. The dryers in the laundry room were broken. Bugs came out of the shower drain in our cabin. Firewood for sale at the camp store burned very quickly and did not last long. Overall, probably wouldn't stay again for the price we paid for the cabin.

Had an amazing first-time experience at the KOA in FXBG. Check-in was really easy and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that my comforts were met throughout my stay there.

The cabin was out of propane for the barbecue and the heat was not working. We tried to get the maintenance man to work the heat but he claimed he had no idea how and was rude about it. The propane went out in the middle of cooking our steaks and since that is the only source to cook on it was a hassle as the office was closed. For the price I would think it would be better looked after.

I stay at this KOA 2-4 times a year. I drive from NH-Savannah-NH. I appreciate that you can book a cabin for one night. All the other KOA's I check only let you book if you are staying two nights. Delightful staff, clean, clean, clean (did I mention clean?). Also, off the beaten path so quiet! I also appreciate this KOA is open all year round. Thank you KOA team! See you in the spring!

We stayed in a deluxe cabin for one night during our travels. The check in was smooth and easy. The registration clerk was very friendly and knowledgeable. The cabin itself was PERFECT!!! There was even a nice grill to barbeque on. Lots of walking areas for our dogs. We had a wonderful stay.

Just there for the night in a cabin. It's the midday point to Myrtle Beach. I have family I visit there. Nice, quiet, relaxing! Clean bathrooms and showers. Pleasant staff!! I'll be staying there again for sure!!

The bathrooms, with the amount of people i thought the bathrooms should of been cleaned than just once a day. Other than that everything else was great. Great customer service. Friendly.

I am still shaking my head about our stay at this KOA in disbelief....... and she was the manager!!! We had a company with over 400 employees... I have Never experienced anything like my interaction with her...... We travel all over this country as my husband is a professional angler..... I will never stay at this KOA and will share my experience. I feel for her employees.

Very friendly staff, great shop, clean bathrooms, nice basic amenities and activities. I gave it an 8 versus a 10 and a four instead of a five because some people might want more things to do or more hiking grounds etc. For what it is it's a great site. When it's not that crowded it would be great if they allowed folks to stay a little longer after checking out.

We love this campground. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the bathrooms are clean, and the grounds are well-kept. We usually come here when touring the Civil War battlefields, but during our recent stay we decided to sit by the pool and relax! So enjoyable!

Lovely, wooded , peacefully quiet setting. Great paved roads within park, gravel FHU with 50 amp sites. Immaculately clean spacious bathrooms & showers. Many of each. Exceptionally friendly & helpful staff. However, poor signage off Hwy. , extremely confusing direction after exit 118. Hwy. 1 not posted. Roads off Hwy. 1 to park are hairpin blind turns, no shoulders & drop offs. $81 overnight, bit high but close to east coast & our Nations Capital

Ran into truck trouble on 95 on a Thursday before Easter. We needed to find something very quickly and close to a dealership to have the truck fixed. Luck was on our side when we saw a KOA 10 miles from the dealer. I tend to over research before picking where to stay, however, we had no time. I booked a site literally 5 minutes before arriving. The grounds are beautiful, shady and tucked into the woods. Plenty of room to walk and for my son to ride his bike. A great playground which he loved as well. There is also a pond on site which adds to the charm. The general store/office was nicely stocked. They did not have milk or butter but had a couple of grocery items such as eggs and hot dogs. It had rained a lot the night before so the grassy areas were pretty soggy but the staff were actively trying to get any sitting water off the sites and roadways. The staff were super friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. If our travels bring us back to this area, we would definitely book again.

Stayed at this campground many times. Great location. This is the first time they charged extra for pets. Not sure why they need to do this. Maybe they charge extra for kids too. Campground prices are high enough without adding extra charges.
