No heat. Heat workec for about an hour. Then turned off and wouldnt come back on had the same trouble 2 years ago. Was 26 degrees outside and was warmer than the cabin. Ehen I complained she sent someone to check but didnt adjust our bill or even apologize. Lost a customer in me. I wont be back. I also called corpoate on them. Shame on you yoi give KOA a bad name.

Love this KOA to stop when coming back to the northeast after being in the south. It’s not as busy as many KOA’s. Despite being so close to DC it feels like you’re in the woods. Nice staff. We arrived after closing hours and they left us the key to our cabin in a convenient spot. This is my 3rd stay here. It’s so much cheaper than staying in a hotel in that area when you have two dogs.

The staff here is always pleasant and helpful. Even though our trip got cut short due to an electrical fire in our 5th wheel, they were on point and offered help in any way they could.

The cabin was really nice and clean. The place was definite big enough to walk the dog. I do feel like this KOA is either transitioning into becoming a KOA Holiday or maybe should be a KOA Journey, although it is quite far from the highway and everything else. It would be good if this KOA had a grocery store because it’s in the middle of nowhere surrounded by farm fields/no town.

I was only there for 1 night, but the cabin was great. The campground itself was clean and well laid out. Staff was friendly. I love that they are open year round. Will definitely go and stay again.

The cabin we stayed at was perfect, nicely, secluded, perfect fire pit, places to sit, where we stayed was considered kind of clamping and it was super nice. Super enjoyable time.

Very nice small campground we were very happy with our cabin. The bed was comfortable, which is a plus you don’t always get that. I liked our little patio area. The employees are very nice and helpful. We were in a studio lodge cabin so there’s no cooking inside but thank God they gave us a nice weber gas grill. We haven't been to this KOA in over 10 years. Cabins were very clean, very nicely setup. Staff was very friendly and always very helpful. Definitely will visit again

Very well kept campground. Convenient to lots of commercial/ retail. Friendly staff. Our site was about a 8 out of 10 because we booked late, There are lots of very nice sites here. Stuff for kids to do. Family members stayed in a deluxe cabin and loved it. I'd definitely return.

I gave this review because when I booked the night online, the price was $67.50 per night. When I got there, the cost was $75 per night. I brought it up to the cashier, and she could really care less. I know it's not a lot of money, but I feel I was nickeled and dimed pet fee $30, and I should get the difference back in a credit for the next time I go.

WE LOVE THE PLACE BEEN HERE BEFORE. THE ONLY COMPLAIN THE BEDDING WAS AN AIR MATTRESS DEFLATED AND NOISY. COULD NOT GET ANY SLEEP AND LEFT AT 1am … I HAVE EMAIL THE CAMP FOR SOLUTION ON OURRETURN TRIP ON 9-23-2024. Would of rate you higher otherwise but unfortunately the most important fact is sleep which could not get.…due to an air mattress that was very bad….. the place is very nice oth

In typical KOA style the bathrooms were spotless at all times, Staff was knowledgeable, help full and friendly. The grounds and outbuildings were well kept. My family and I rented a deluxe cabin, looking forward to the roomy cabin. The photo of the cabins makes them appear to be much larger than they really are. The cabin we rented was in need of a remodel. Disappointed with the cabin.

Our family (2 adults, 2 kids) have been visiting this KOA since 2015. We usually stay in a camping cabin or deluxe cabin over the summer. We have stayed at other camp sites but always prefer this KOA. The grounds and cabin are always clean. Pool has been updated over the years and never too crowded. Grounds have also had updates and a new playground installed. Staff very friendly!

This was one of the worse KOAs I have EVER stayed in! I do not recommend at all! The campground bathroom was clean, the place quiet! My teens loved Deb from the office she was an amazing help! However the general manager is horrible, they have surprise fees (I’ve NEVER experienced that either), poor customer service, she was screaming at guests in their car in front of others! Horrible stay!

The campground is kept up nicely but nothing above and beyond. They charge for everything. Such as if you plan on driving there from work and your spouse drives there first you will pay an extra 30 dollars for the car to park in the same lot u rented. Also u get charged per dog. (15 dollars per day) Just seems pretty excessive

Had a great relaxing weekend. Been coming to this campground since May 2020. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I have made two more reservations for September and October.

We stayed in a cabin. It was clean, no smell of dampness. Deb, at front office was very friendly. She made checking easy. The grounds were nice, no trash or overgrown grass anywhere.We live close but enjoyed a weekend away. We will return.

Very friendly staff and nice facilities but our groceries got ruined due to the previous people in the cabin putting the fridge temp on freezing and the front desk just said sorry - thought they could have given us a slight discount since we had to go buy more groceries.

The General Manager Stephany was absolutely awful. She is rude and has zero customer service skills. She berated and taunted my wife in front if my children. She was confrontational and we were shocked at how she was so eager to engage in conflict rather than just talk like an adult. Other visitors had similar encounters and all of us said we would never return because of her. DO NOT STAY!!!

Extremely clean campground from bathrooms to the campground itself. Quiet, wooded lots. We were on an electric/water tent site and the tent pads were level and well groomed. With only two days in the area, we found plenty to do in Fredericksburg with the historic sites/tours and the shops/restaurants. There is a lot of history packed in a small area - we definitely recommend Hughes Apothecary shop for a looksee. The campground was quiet, people were friendly but not intrusive.

Used to be great, but it's going downhill. The price to go camping, in a tent, for one night, no hookups, midweek for two adults with two compact cars is $48 (USD). Not a great price, considering hotel rooms with amenities aren't that much more. Plus, I am a KOA rewards member who stays here frequently. Lately, the campground is really getting nit picky with extra charges. For example, my partner and I always bring two compact cars that fit on our site. We've done this for years. Now there's an extra $15 a night charge for this. I won't be renewing my membership.

We've stayed at this KOA two times every year for the past 6 years. We keep coming back because of the friendly staff and the beautiful setting of the campground. It's a welcome respite from our travels to and from snowbirding in Florida.
