This was our first stay and it was really nice. The area was clean, the people and staff were friendly and helpful. We are already making plans to stay again next year when the weather is nicer and even more to do and see.

Campground is well maintained. Bathrooms and showers are clean. The cabins are great as well. Sites are level - we will be back!

REally like this KOA. We arrived at 5:30 PM, it was dark, nobody in the office. We tried to call and answering machine said open until 6 PM but sign on the door said close at 5 PM. A little early IMO. We were a little worried that we could not get in but we found out that you could pick up the key in the outside box. Cabin was nice and warm. This is a very cosy campground with friendly staff.

stayed a week while visiting Washington DC. This KOA is lovely - November a nice time of year to visit. Friendly staff, most spaces were good sized with room between neighbors. Large grassy area around the pond. We found the park WiFi very good. We would return!

Campground was very clean this time of year not crowded. Only negative was the faucet to connect was so close to the ground was very hard to screw on our heated hose.

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I loved how they took to our spot and even helped get us in there straight! Wifi was great! It is a beautiful place.

The campground is pretty, very clean grounds and bathrooms. Good size lots. We have stayed there many times..close to our family. Only thing bad is rhe Cable is not good... but WiFi is pretty good. ....nice place to stay.

We felt very welcome upon arrival. The ground guide took us to our site and welcomed us. The park was clean and looked fun to stay several days.

Lovely, wooded , peacefully quiet setting. Great paved roads within park, gravel FHU with 50 amp sites. Immaculately clean spacious bathrooms & showers. Many of each. Exceptionally friendly & helpful staff. However, poor signage off Hwy. , extremely confusing direction after exit 118. Hwy. 1 not posted. Roads off Hwy. 1 to park are hairpin blind turns, no shoulders & drop offs. $81 overnight, bit high but close to east coast & our Nations Capital

Ran into truck trouble on 95 on a Thursday before Easter. We needed to find something very quickly and close to a dealership to have the truck fixed. Luck was on our side when we saw a KOA 10 miles from the dealer. I tend to over research before picking where to stay, however, we had no time. I booked a site literally 5 minutes before arriving. The grounds are beautiful, shady and tucked into the woods. Plenty of room to walk and for my son to ride his bike. A great playground which he loved as well. There is also a pond on site which adds to the charm. The general store/office was nicely stocked. They did not have milk or butter but had a couple of grocery items such as eggs and hot dogs. It had rained a lot the night before so the grassy areas were pretty soggy but the staff were actively trying to get any sitting water off the sites and roadways. The staff were super friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. If our travels bring us back to this area, we would definitely book again.

Stayed at this campground many times. Great location. This is the first time they charged extra for pets. Not sure why they need to do this. Maybe they charge extra for kids too. Campground prices are high enough without adding extra charges.
