The campground was great, very clean and quiet the site we had was a pull through and was long enough for our 35’ RV and our tow vehicle. One thing I’d like to mention for those planning to visit DC while staying here, is it takes 25 minutes to get to the train station from the campground and 1.5 hour train ride to get to there. Again the campground was great, just a little bit of travel to DC

Nice, quaint, and very clean campground. Bathrooms amazingly spotless. Stayed for 4 nights, love the historic areas surrounding Fredericksburg. My shepherd and I hiked all the trails at 3 national battlefield parks. My RV water heater failed me so hot showers were on the campground. I was not let down. Way to go KOA staff, keep up the great work!

I was put in site 15 which is not near level in length or side to side. This was so far off I could not get my fifth wheel level even with my front legs retracted all the way. Due to this in level Sid to side I slid on the stones getting into my trailer and fell flat on the ground injuring myself. I have stayed here before on level spots and found it very pleasant. They need to level all the lots

Staff was friendly and helpful. Grounds looked nice. Cabin needs some TLC. Was not very clean, hair in bathtub. Bathroom fixtures looked dirty. Wanted to grill out and grill was left with stuck on old food pieces, such a turn off we ate out. This was a first and we stay at alot of KOAs. They always make sure grill is clean and ready to use by the next guest, never been left with dirty grill.

Easily the cleanest and nicest KOA we have visited. We will be back definitely! While it may be a smaller campground, the staff, amenities, and scenic views are amazing. I highly recommend the gem mining they have. It was a blast with my nieces!

Though we have stayed, many times, at this wonderful campground, it was our first visit in our new towing trailer. We are NEWBIES at setting up our trailer. Penny, at the desk, told us to call if we had any problems, concerns or questions. We did! � Patrick came to our site to offer assistance and helpful advice. His help made us feel more confident in the set up. We had a blast! �

The site and hosts were fine. The 2 mile road to get there was very narrow and dangerous. There was no shoulder but a 1-2 foot drop off, no bridge to prevent you. Although the road is double solid lined, “do not pass”, some of the locals become complacent. We white knuckled our 40 ft motorhome and tow in and out of the road. We left 2 days early.

My wife and I brought our three boys there for 3 days. Nice and well maintained campground. Kids loved fishing in the pond, the bikes for rent, and the gem mining! Quiet and very kid friendly. Booked out next trip there when checking out!

Amazing grounds and staff! Surrounded by woods, thick woods. Wifi works well. The store has everyhting you might need. After hours check-in is real easy. Absolutely dead quiet. Staff was incredible.

Stayed 2 nights was very happy with the park. Very clean & well kept. Been there a few times now & always stop on way south & way back home. We haverecommended the park to a lot of people. They have thanked us for telling them about this koa. As long as we travel will stop at Fredericksburg .

Very nice campground. All of campers were super friendly and the staff as well. Showers were clean. My only complaint is lack of cell service and sites are on the small side.

We needed a place to stay close to the convention center in Fredericksburg. While were there we enjoyed several nearby bike trails. A lovely area to visit. Campground was clean and staff was friendly. Exactly what we expect from a KOA.

Set clean campground. The pool wasn’t open yet but I assume it will open soon. Nice campground store and bathhouse very clean.

The check in process was very easy. The staff member that checked us in informed us that we had some discounts available that was great to hear. The store was well stocked with all the essentials. You get an escort to your campsite. They have outdoor activities it was just a rainy weekend so we didn't get to do any of them. My family and I felt safe. The other campers were friendly.

Dangerous, narrow road coming to park. Park itself is okay. Understand that between 5:00 PM and 8:00 AM you are on your own - office closed, nobody answers the phone. No quiet hour enforcement with dogs barking constantly at 5:00AM, generators running for whatever reason. All this for $90 per night. Nah, won't be back.

We have stayed at the Fredericksburg KOA many times over the past several years, but this stay was the first trip in our new 5th wheel. We were parked at one of our favorite patio sites next to the pond with great views. The staff was friendly & helpful. Everything was well-maintained & clean. We LOVE this KOA even though it's only about 35 miles from our home.

Kids in cabin 51 were very noisy until 12 30 am. I had to go tell them to be quiet. Said they didn't know about quiet hours

Stayed there so we could be away from D.C. but have access via the train. Nice wooded camp ground with a fishing pond (My 9 year-old grandson caught a small bass and was thrilled). We played Ga-Ga Ball and tetherball and rented bikes. Clean bathrooms and about 6 individual shower rooms to be used by anyone. Where we were located, the spots were level. Had plenty of room to sit outside.

Beautiful setting in wooded area. All amenities you’d need. Clean and in good repair. Staff is friendly and helpful. Easy drive to local history sites. We took the VRE from Spotsylvania to Washington, DC for an easy day trip. Only negative is the campsites are very close together.

Everyone was very friendly. Campsite was clean. The playground could have been better it was small and only useable by older children.

Drive was long to DC, 1.5 to 2 hours each way but the campground was great. It is clean and very well maintained. Lots of shade for the RV too.

I have been through here in the past overnight traveling from RI to FL it is a wonderful place. I feel safe and jozy and so clean there. The staff is phenomenal. I visit coming and going at various times of the year we've traveled. My significant other passed my dog passed. This year was extra special as I traveled alone. I met a sweet young couple and chatted in the pool. I will always stop here in my future travels. This place makes any road trip fabulous. Fredericksburg VA is Heaven on earth such a lovely area. TY for being there. I can't wait to come back.
