Great place! Staff is super friendly & accommodating. Even on a busy weekend it was quiet. The band & DJ by the pool was an added plus for the holiday weekend. Looking forward to our next stay!

Very nice place. Everyone very friendly and helpful loved the campgrounds but pool needs abit more cleaning and checking of chemicals and turn the filter on...

Had to search for toilet paper with all's y'all's being empty numerous times. Drunk band with vulgar words for a hour. Took the kids to camp so they were not seeing two grown men fight and curse the whole time.

Not kept up and not clean. Our septic was full and I told them on the first day and no one ever came to even look. They have full-time people living in campers with dogs and children crammed into small campers and their areas are not kept up at all. One of the full-time ladies works all day and leaves two dogs tied up barking all day. The trails were great it was nice to be able to go on our ATV

The park is beautiful! So much to do! We brought our 4 wheelers & side by side so didn't get to see or do all the things... but will keep them at home next time just to enjoy the campground. The staff was OVER THE TOP helpful & knowledgeable. We had an issue with the toilet in our RV & the staff did everything they could to help. Security guard & office staff were so very sweet & helpful.

This was not our first stay. We generally feel this is a very nice place to go. There are just a few things needing attention. The pool was not well maintained during our stay. Yes it was a holiday weekend and in use most of the time, but as the weekend progressed the pool was very cloudy and the area unkempt. The bathroom in the recreation hall was not maintained as well.

Beautiful views. Very unorganized. Was not assigned a campsite and we were told to pick one. After parking and unloading we tried to plug in the electric which was not working. We then loved to another spot only to find out that the water did not work. Finally we found a spot that had working water and electric. Would be much better with assigned spots knowing the water and electric work.

For the cost I expected the internet to work and the campground to be more level. The office ladies were not helpful or caring at all about my complaint with the internet. Otherwise was not a bad stay.

Off the beaten path. Large property with spacious sites (FCFS). Very nice pool kept clean. Cool nature trail to the lake with unexpected topography for FL as well as an old bunker. Tips: Get supplies before heading out; not many stores nearby. Check routes carefully as one is a dirt road not suitable for RV's. Take preventative measures for ants around access points (tires). Bring ATVs!

It was weird. Not what I expected from a KOA...it felt more like an inexpensive campground for long-term living. Lots of ORVs riding around too. Just wasn't like a "normal" koa I thought. There was a general lack of communication on the check in. We pulled in around 6PM and there was no one in the guard shack so I followed the instructions on the sign. Then a suckurity guy said we did it wrong...

We had a great time at this site. There were some things that were new to me. Pick your own site was very interesting. The people there were awesome. My only issue was I don’t think there are any level sites unless they have been leased/purchased and pavers installed. Also the sites were a little confusing with campers in angled sites parked straight and some even sideways.

Loved it here! Bathrooms could use some updating but other than that the campsites were spaced out very well and we had a lot of fun!

Terrific staff, we had a awning malfunction ( came right off the side of the RV) maintenance came with a ladder and drill and helped me reattach it! Super nice man, went above and beyond to help.

It was good. not much to do and I noticed permant campers got the shade. Nick is an excellent customer service person, he was awesome.

Enjoyed our stay very much!! You get to pick your own site. The sites are big, the people were great, the bathrooms and laundry were roomy and clean. Just make sure you have enough sewer line as a lot of the connections are on the opposite side.

New staff is courteous. Camp sites are plentiful. 1st come 1st serve. Water pressure < 20#. Check receptacles before you set up. Site just needs good deep cleaning and maintenance. Otherwise, ATV riders, great place to unload and hit trails. Bring plenty fuel. Nothing close to site. It was much quieter this time. A few loud pipes but quiet enough at bedtime. If you are riding trails, you’ll like

The campground was not maintained at all. The site we rented was covered with ant hills and the ants found their way into our camper the first night. We had to leave the next day because even the beds were covered in ants!! The entire grounds are nothing like the pictures and way way way worse. The shower/bathroom facility was disgusting too. You have to drive an hour to get to any store.

the staff was awesome, the facilities were fine but there wasn’t enough ‘nature’ (trees, shaded camp spots) for our liking and the ATV’s running around took away from any sense of a peaceful camp....

I went to KOA Fort Maccoy with my husband a some friends and we loved this place. I would like to suggest you to have an a person to clean and maintains of the cabins bathroom at least twice a day, Thank you.

Stayed for 2 weeks to visit family who live there temporarily. Sorry to see dirty pool, couldn’t get down to the water to go fishing. Trail too steep for Nana and Papa. Not enough ammenties. Poor management.

Old & run-down; most of the best sites have been sold to permanent residents, leaving available only fully exposed sites on a sloping open field.

Cant say a whole lot about the park, because it rained the whole time we were there, so we stayed in the trailer. The laundry, however, was very dirty, and half of the machines were out of order.

We met up with friends for a long weekend at Ft McCoy and had a great time. We toured the grounds on a golf cart.and walked some of the nature trails, There is a very nice clubhouse by the large pool. I highly recommend camping here and look forward to our next visit. The staff was very professional and friendly.

The area is nice and scenic, but I couldn't recommend this campground. All the good sites were sold, leaving renters to pick the best of the worst. Most unlevel and user unfriendly sites I have ever stayed at.

Poor. Poor wifi connections.No site garbageGarbage dumpsters lids too heavy to lift. Garbage full to overflowing. Washer/dryers not working or in need of repair.

What a great, out of the way place to camp. Located beside a lake, there was always a nice breeze blowing. Campsites are very large and are all pull-through, which is a nice option. Bathhouse/clubhouse is very nice and the restrooms are clean. Staff is very friendly. It's not your typical KOA, as everything is very laid back, probably because it is located in the middle of nowhere. It's one of those places where you go if all you want to do is camp and relax. They do have activities for children in the morning.
