Overall, great experience. Awesome and friendly staff. Facility was clean. The only glaring improvement is the need for a good wifi connection. Let's be honest, the wifi here is garbage. Not usually a big deal as cell coverage can fill that gap (never ever rely on campground wifi). However, in this case mobile coverage is also garbage which puts more pressure on the wifi needs.

My family only stayed one night in a pull through site. Had plenty of room for our motorhome and a pull behind trailer. We didn’t do any activities, but everything looked in great shape.

4th time staying at this KOA. Was a little disappointed this stay due to the very poor wifi signal and the fact that out site seemed to be one of few that did not have a fire pit.

With the number of dogs the are being brought in you need to have 2 or 3 dog parks. The restrooms and showers need expanded and upgraded. Last time we stayed there (which was less expensive than this visit) all the toys and programs were free because we had paid a premium for the campsite. Now many of programs must be rented and the Par course. I would only recommend the KOA as an overnight stay.

The stay was very nice, lots of fun activities and well maintained. I didn’t care for the extra costs, like visitor fees for parking, Put-Put golf, pet fees. Everyone was friendly, and helpful. Daily emails of events, and closures due to weather were very much appreciated.

YOU HAVE A FANTASTIC PARK, BUT IT IS A SHAME THAT YOUR BATH HOUSES ARE SO STUFFY AND MUSTY. A/C IN HOT WEATHER WOULD BE GREAT, BUT JUST MOVING AIR INSIDE THE BUILDINGS WOULD MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE!

We loved it! There was so much to do, we didn’t want to go to our pre-scheduled activities in the area, rather, we wanted to stay in the camp to enjoy all the activities! The bathrooms were so clean, the camping spots shady! And the camp was not on a train line or interstate! So quiet at night!

It was short but nice. Great place for kids. It would be nice if the pool opened a little earlier just for adults that swim laps or aerobics. The Chuck Wagon was GREAT… excellent tasty food & great Chef & hostess!! Very friendly & accomadating as was the front desk.

We only stayed one night, but appreciated the amenities. Did laundry (a little expensive for tiny washers), bought some local ice cream at the camp store, enjoyed a walk around the lake, and appreciated a hot shower. Recommend folks pay extra for a site on the outer edge as interior don’t offer any privacy. All in all, liked this campground. p.s. staff was very friendly!

The campground is nice but they don’t tell you about the cheaper sites that are vacant when you’re coming in a day early. Also they didn’t honor the 50% off for early arrivals per the email that I got. So I felt cheated in my stay and I doubt I will stay there again. I haven’t had a KOA membership in years. It’s too bad the first day had to give us this experience.

Eric was very helpful getting our tv service fixed! Best location for us to be near family in Fort Collins but a little pricey being that we don’t have a need for all the amenities us being seniors. Thanks!

The family bathroom near the pavilion was disgusting. The cleaning seemed to only hose the rooms down, I don’t know. There was wet paper etc after cleaning. The bathrooms by to office were very nice.

Park is completely run down. We paid extra for the hot tub site and the cover was in horrible shape. Inside the hot tub was old and had duck tape holing something together. Black hair floating. We did not use it. Mini golf course was in horrible shape. Pool needs resurfacing. We will never recommend this place.

Was nice at one point. Park had lots of loose boards and nails and screws poking out. Seems like no maintenance has been done. Splash pad was a hit. The kiddie pool was in some need of repair, lots of plastic coming off the bottom. Main bathrooms were nice and clean. Over all was nice but some maintenance is needed

The site was not clean and overgrown with weeds. This is the most expensive KOA we stay at. Differently not worth the price KOA charges. When I complained to one of the workers nothing but excuses. To his credit he weeded the area and KOA gave me a day credit however the sites should be cleaned and weeded before arrival. Worked harder to make the area look better.

Many wonderful activities including fishing and boating. Is located about 0.25 miles from one of the prettiest bike rides in America. Have stayed here several times and will most likely stay again.

We've seen many changes over the 15+ years. We actually left one day early. We were disappointed with the condition of the park and grounds. It was second visit in a row that the pool was dirty. And the food truck lady was so rude to us that we packed up and left early. The food was mediocre the music blared and so rude. We will not return until they clean this park up. So disappointed.

I have been back 4 years in a row and the property has gone down hill each year. Not kept, things degrading, and the biggest thing was all the dog waste everywhere. It seems the focus is on the pool and store. The pond and dock need serious attention, and the walking paths and grass areas are full of dog waste. The K9 klub needs serious help and all the attractions are in need of upkeep.

We have been to Lakeside before, but a lot of stuff wasn’t open yet, so we were excited to go back to enjoy more activities with my family. It was advertised as the “Barnyard weekend”, but that was not to be. Petting zoo was scheduled to be 7/14 - 7/16, however in reality it was only the 14th and 15th, not “through” the 16th! Grounds are attractive and well maintained, with lots of activities for the kids. Two areas for improvement are the internet and bathrooms. The internet is pretty unusable and cell service is spotty. There are limited showers for as many sites.

We loved our stay here. We met some nice people staying there. Sites were level and spacious. Food truck food was good for an easy breakfast. Loved playing barnyard bingo. Centrally located and easy to get to Estes Park and Rocky National park. Grocery store nearby and so are some nice breweries. Intersect brewery was vey good and pet friendly. Old town was fun to walk around.

The condition of the campground has really gone down in the current years. The benchs in the play area are warped, the weeds are out of control and the grounds as a whole need some TLC. The Wi-Fi is nonexistent!

Amenities galore here! Play ground, mini golf, bike rentals, paddle boat rentals, food truck (with delivery) free train rides, crafts for kids, events like bingo and smores, pet friendly, fishing, wood delivery, trash pick up! Only 15 minutes from down town fort collins, Walmart, groceries, gas, etc. Grounds are well kept and beautiful. Lots of wild life and a lake with a walking trail! The staff is friendly, accommodating, and take pride in their jobs. The RV sites are spacious with picnic tables, fire pits at most, and some spots have hot tubs! Tent sites are along the lake and cabins are available to rent as well. Quiet and kinda out in farm country which I love! Great KOA!

The campsite was super clean, lots of bathrooms and very accessible water and power. The tent areas are in a bed of sand, so you don't have to worry about water seeping up in the night! The staff was very friendly and there are TONS of family activities you can do on site as well. (Bounce mat, fishing, mini golf, hangout room with TV and games, pool, playground, and more)
