This KOA is in decent shape. There were two areas of concern - 1. Most important the picnic table on our site #163 was unusable. The boards are badly warped and very rough. These boards need to be completely replaced. 2 - while the swimming pool was usable, the metal plate on the north side of pool is a tripping hazard and could cut feet. Also, pool needs repainted. Thank you.

We enjoyed the cute little cabin overnight, it was clean and cozy. We enjoyed visiting family members who were also staying in their RV. We appreciate the activities and access to a nicely stocked camp store.

I would have given this a higher rating except for the fact that they wanted to charge us $5 per day for our daughter to visit us. She only visited during the day and did not use any of the facilities!

I appreciate the accommodation of the park for us coming in late in the evening. The setting is amazing near a lake but the gnats and mosquitoes can be a but much late at night during setting up ( Not under yourcontrol). I have fond memories of Colorado and the splendors of the rockies Keep up the good work.

We love Lakeside! We have been numerous times. It does seem as though some of the amenities need some work. Ex: the pond needs to be cleared of extreme seaweed. There aren’t bumper cars anymore, the pools heater is still broke, the putput course needs attention. However, the grounds are very well taken care of, the spots are beautiful and the staff are very nice.

the campground was beautiful, I would give it a 5 star, but the wifi at the campground was terrible, Sometimes it worked and sometimes it did not, and the phone service for our att was awful we could barely text but not all went through. So if you want to unplug it's a great place, but if you need internet, plan to head to Starbucks.

Love the campground, especially during the week when less folks are there:) It's always a busy place but that's because there is so much to do and people love it. I like to just take my dogs and relax for a few days. We do lots of walks around the lake.

Ok park, definitely next to a pond and not a lake. I needed propane and was not impressed with the grizzled jerk sent to do it. He needs more than counseling, perhaps a silent retreat at your pond. All in all, facilities are not on par with a holiday rating.

This KOA is awesome! Great pool, the staff was very helpful when we needed a quick care in the area. They have great electrical power and water pressure.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a very clean campground. Close to Ft. Collins. Have a lot of entertaining things to do in the campground.

At checkin, the staff person was very helpful and answered all my questions and went the extra mile giving me directions to attractions in the Ft. Collins, CO area!! Water in shower had great pressure and temperature. I will be back for another stay.

Close to Fort Collins activities Lots of kids around, good or bad Roads are mostly dirt so a lot of dust Many grassy areas at sites a bare making it muddy to get into your rig if it’s wet. Some satellite friendly sites. T-Mobile good.

Nice KOA, well equipped and clean. Nice walking trail around lake. Only reason I didn’t rate higher is sites are very close together and rate is higher than comparable facilities. We prefer Boyd Lake State Park when we’re in the area but could not get a site for this day.

The hot tub was dirty the top was ripped the fence that should have given us privacy was missing . You have to pay for additional cars and park somewhere else and they didn’t enforce it with some people, so they parked multiple cars in front of their Rv .It smelled bad because of the lake . There pedal boats were in bad shape . Will be canceling our future trip there and rebooking somewhere else

Fort Collins Lakeside KOA sets the standard for all other campgrounds, and we have been to a lot of campgrounds (KOA and others). Clean, organized, may amentities available, enthusiastic staff. Heck, even the dog park is raked of leaves and debris. We enjoy the fun activities with our grandkids, and during the week get to chill in a quiet location.

Very expensive! $110 for a campsite?, Plus you now charge for mini golf? The mini golf course is in disrepair, lots of torn carpet. When you were under private ownership there were seniors everywhere, guiding you to your campsite, helping you back in, etc.

Your internet service is very frustrating and extremely slow, with a lot of buffering! You should just give us a code to sign on instead of going thru a third party! Also charging for your activities is wrong! Families with children would use them if there wasn’t an additional cost!

We had a last minute need to change our plans and jumped on this KOA. We got the last spot. We did get by the restrooms, not highly recommend this spot, as it was very busy. The camp was very family friendly place. Lots of activities for everyone. Very friendly staff.

Good location, very clean, restrooms and showers, recreation areas could use a little refurbishing, they looked pretty worn, friendly and helpful staff, good place to stay, if you’re visiting to Fort Collins area! Disappointment in the lake with all the green algae, but I guess there’s not a lot to be done about that!

Our first RV camping experience at KOA Fort Collins was delightful. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, even providing a much-appreciated 10% discount for veterans. The grounds were immaculate, and the bathhouses were notably clean—I found myself preferring them over the cramped bathroom in our RV! The atmosphere was serene, with guests respectfully not traversing through others' campsites. However, we did encounter a minor issue: our site was not level. As newcomers to RV camping, we didn't have leveling blocks, which made the situation more challenging, especially with the slide-out extended. I had assumed that KOA campgrounds would be perfectly level, so this was a slight disappointment. Despite this, we were overall very pleased with our experience and plan to return, this time equipped with the proper gear!

Great local KOA, our kiddos love to go on activity weekends. We always have fun. Christy the activity director is awesome. She is always coming up with fun things for the kids.
