Need more parking Spaces on the tent sites , on the showers for tent sites only the times to used water it’s not enough , in the Cabins you need to have water and electric outlet out side ,

Tent Site T9 was absolutely stunning. I can not recommend this enough. Us and our two boys stayed a week and could have stayed a month. The shower house and laundry facilities were great as well. Definitely coming back.

The whole family had a great time camping here. The playground and games area was super fun. Everything was in great shape, friendly staff, and the bathrooms were so nicely cleaned. It was super convenient to get into this downtown area as well as Rocky Mountain National. There was some road noise, it definitely died down as the night went on, but just something to consider if that bothers you..

The place itself is well-maintained, the sites are neat and spacious, and the staff is absolutely amazing. The facilities are also pristine. I rate it 4 stars because of the lack of empathy during the cleaning and grounds maintenance. 1) The hut bathrooms were emptied before 11 am, super inconvenient. 2) The bathrooms were cleaned before 11 am; no room for a last shower before the trip.

Did not live up to KOA standards especially for being in Estes Park. Rocky, not grassy, tight driving and parking spaces. We were in a tent site right by the highway, nothing but traffic noise and the noise of our neighbors because we were so closely packed in. Worst KOA we’ve stayed at. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

This was easy to check in, after hours, without a reservation! So thankful for that option. Clean restrooms and showers, which is critical in my opinion. Friendly staff waved and smiled each time I passed.

I loved this campground the first time I stayed here and that's why I came back. Close to Lake Estes to see the elks bugle. And close to down town Estes Park.

Beautiful views and a very friendly staff. They were always willing to help with anything needed. Would highly recommend this campground and if you are tent camping ask for site T9.

This was a very clean and cozy campground. We tent camped and felt very safe. The bathrooms were extremely clean. The staff was amazing. We would highly recommend staying here and we hope to be back.

Very pleased with my stay - unfortunately there was trash in my firepit when I arrived there. Noticed a lack of trash bins - had to walk to the entrance of the park to dispose of all trash. Perhaps add locking/safety garages around? Otherwise, the bathrooms were immaculate. Very pleased.

They did a great job keeping the place clean and the bathrooms were always stocked with papers. The check in process was smooth and all the staff were super friendly. My daughter loved the train ride through the park and the ice cream and pancake events. It was our first stay and we're already planning our second.

The property is small. But absolutely one of the best we have stayed at. I will start out with saying how clean the entire place is, I felt comfortable using all of the facilities because of the care that the staff puts into cleaning. Now the staff is top notch. The entire staff absolutely go 100% in making sure your stay is a great experience. My husband and I will definitely be back.

Great location. Close to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Sites are close together but have nice views. Bathrooms are great. 6 all in one bathrooms in addition to the main bathhouse. The main bathrooms are nicely done and are very clean. Hosts are friendly and very helpful.

Hosts are fantastic, so accommodating and considerate. Above and beyond, escorting me to my site and visiting outside the office to be sure we knew the ins and outs of the area. Much helpful information! Bathrooms &showers scrupulously cleaned. Lower showers have timed showers that don't function properly, often out of hot water, have broken knobs, no place to hold soap. Loud guests at nite.

We stayed at a tent site in July and had a wonderful time. The grounds are a bit smaller than some other KOA's but you don't feel too close to anyone, everything is set up really nice. The hosts were great and the small dog park was a great feature for our little pups. We will absolutely be back!

Had an awesome experience at this KOA. My check in group of individuals was by far the nicest I have ever met. They answered all my questions, and we joked around. It was a great atmosphere. I would recommend carrying cheese in your store for all your WI friends who forget to pack it :)

We stayed at tent site T13, best tent site in the campground - prettiest view of the mountains, upwind of the horse trail riding corrals and easy parking. Just up the hill from the good bathrooms & showers (7 minute shower timer was no problem for our family). Appreciated the dish washing area, that was awesome! Had a blast on the barrel train ride, parents can ride too! Amazing, caring staff!

Great campground in Estes Park—it was close to the lake as well as close to Rocky Mountain National Park. Overall the camp was clean—the bathrooms weren’t bad (I imagine a challenge to keep up with that many campers coming though). I was surprised at a 7 minute timed shower but it’s been a while since I was at a KOA. We had raccoons in our camp. Staff was great-very friendly and helpful.

That was grateful for the military discount, however $71 for an overnight tent site day I think is ridiculous for a price. The only humanity was a hot shower that only lasted 7 minutes. I understand the need to conserve water, and I don't take long showers. Just a minor inconvenience, the staff that check me in was courteous and polite and inquired if I had any need. price is the only issue.

Tent sites are very cramped at a dead end. The toilets and showers are together and there aren't very many so if you just need to pee you might have to wait for a while.

Everyone was very friendly. The bathrooms in the tent area need to be cleaned more. With the dirt at the campsites they get dirty pretty fast. Liked the dishwashing station.

Everything was good except the late check ins at 10pm setting up 6 tents and banging on the tent posts and being loud. But our stay was good and we had plenty of space.

Amazing customer service. Grounds well maintained. Definitely need more bathrooms - even if toilet / sink only. The 7 minute shower timer with a 5 min water delay after is incredibly inconvenient for parents of small children trying to clean more than one person at a time, and causes even longer wait times for others. Can't even pause the timer if you turn off the water.

I needed a place to camp prior to an early start for a climb in RMNP. After searching quite a while online for a reasonable place for dispersed camping and learning that most of the forest service roads require high-clearance vehicles, I decide to pay for a tent site at the Estes Park KOA. The front-desk attendant was super nice. I was just disappointed with how closely the sites are spaced.

The tent site with covered area was perfect. I wasn't too close to other sites. The fire pit was clean. The tent pad area was clean and level. The bathrooms were clean and operational.

First time KOA tent campers. The campsites were so very close together that we could hear everyone else’s conversations, even well past 1:30am. The tent area is too close to a busy road. The tent area has no tall trees to block the sun. Too many people were crammed into the tiny lots with as many as 8 people and 3 tents on a site. This made for lines for the shower every nite. Not worth $89/nigh

It was our first time bringing our puppy camping and staying at a KOA. We really enjoyed the set up of the Estes Park tent section and felt safe. We weren’t to far from the bathroom/wash station which was nice overall, the foot traffic was a little tricky for our puppy the 1st day/night, but soon he was able to watch without barking too much. We have been here once per year for the past four years. Always impressed by how clean it is and how friendly the staff are. Our favorite part is the pancake breakfast! So close to RMNP as well. One of the best KOAs we've been to

This is likely the best KOA anywhere. People are easy to get along with and the facilities are very nice and clean. Large sites and easy to get to anything you want to do in the Estes Park area. The new deluxe cabins are really nice!
