Things to improve: have bathroom only availability in addition to bathrooms with showers as showers were often being used when I just needed to use the bathroom.

On June 27, 2025, when the ambulance arrived with their lights and siren on to our campsite, I would have thought a KOA staff member would have visited or site to check in. In addition, my husband was not able to locate an AED. Hopefully, there is one on site

Great walking access to the lake. Beautiful site at T13. Friendly and responsive staff. Only complaint is wifi wasn't very reliable from that point in the ground, I pretty much relied on my mobile connection instead.

Very friendly and helpful staff. It was nice having the shade structure at the campsite due to the beaming sun. The restrooms and showers were very clean.

Great location as a base for visiting RMNP and the surrounding area. Clean facilities, spacious tent space with covered patio, and best of all, very friendly and accommodating staff. If you are tent camping, ask for space K12. Its got the best view!

It was nice and clean. The bathroom/shower rooms were nice and clean. We had very little water pressure in 1 shower. But overall I highly recommend this koa.

It is a great place to stay, kids enjoyed. But the camp ground is little pricey. Everything else is great!

Grounds are well maintained, all staff were friendly and eager to help. However, the proximity to neighboring tent campers is extremely close. There is zero privacy. We could hear everything happening in the neighboring tents. Will not stay here again for this reason.

Our tent spot was not sheltered from winds and it was extremely windy one day. We didn't like that the road was so close to the campsite. There were cars almost nonstop. At night I heard cars and motorbikes revving their engines presumably to see how fast they can go. Family bathrooms were great, well maintained and nice showers. Staff was nice and helpful. Smaller campground than I thought.

It’s hard to have a bad time in Estes Park and the campsite in general is a great place. We don’t understand why the covered sites for the tents. People are coming in one day leaving coming in late at night even sleeping in the car and then leave the next morning, we’re gonna be there for several days and can’t get a covered site. There’s no option when we did it online

The site is very clean, with excellent rest room and shower facilities. We stayed in a tent pitch that was very close to the main road running outside the camp site. Consequently, it is quite noisy at night time when you are trying to sleep.

The facilities were clean and well maintained. Our site was perfect (T12) as it gave some separation from the other tent sites, and, when we lost electricity our last night, the gentleman that came out to help restore it, did all he could and was very kind and helpful. We appreciated the customer service over all!

There was road construction during the overnight 4 nights of my stay. I wouldn’t have minded so much but was never informed of this. They should have let the guests know and offer them free cancellation and a chance to book other reservations. Very inconsiderate of the host. I won’t be back. The campground is very tight and when going down and up hill in the campground it is very hard to see p

Staff was super friendly and helpful. We checked in after hours and it was easy to do even in the dark. The kids loved the ice cream social and the park and the ride around the park. Overall was a really great stay! Everything was clean and well kept. *There is a complete and total fire ban in place a couple other campsites did not listen to as they had open fires.

I enjoyed my stay. There were a limited number of bathrooms for the amount of tent sites, with people waiting on the weekends especially. Also, the timers on the showers were a problem when it took at least three of the seven minutes to warm up enough to get in. Bathrooms are important. Every thing else in the campground was great.

The noise from the road was louder than I expected, but it was tolerable the first night. The 2nd night however we were given absolutely ZERO heads up that there would be road construction going on from 9 pm to 7 am--literally digging up old pavement and installing new. That was inexcusable. With all the automated text messages this KOA sent, THIS info absolutely should have been shared.

The ladies behind the counter were very helpful and concerned about our stay. I called about an electrical problem that I thought that I had and Steve with maintenance was there in less than five minutes really enjoyed our stay there.

The staff was very nice& polite. The campsite itself was by a busy street so you hear the cars all night and we were tenter snd pkaced by the horse corals and the stench was horrible - you should let campers know about the corral and the smell.

Good points: beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains and very easy access to the Beaver Meadows entrance. Under 2 miles to town of Estes Park, where you can purchase fuel for vehicle and food at Safeway. Nice little tourist town with plentiful food options. The hosts are pleasant and helpful. Very good laundry room ($3/load). Clean showers and bath. Our site has a private balcony with a propane fire pit and amazing views of the mountains! Wow. The other stuff: Campsites are tiny and some are literally a wide spot next to the main drive. You won't be able to park your tow vehicle at site with the camper. Limited parking is available inside the park with additional parking in front of KOA office. Water pressure is low, flow rate is barely sufficient to trip our tankless water heater… we had to open the hot spigot at the sink to increase water flow, which further lowered the water pressure in the shower. Consider filling fresh water tank vs running straight from city water. Overall, I'd stay here again.

It was my pups and I's first time here, absolutely loved it. The ladies in the front office were super nice and helpful, they made checking in/out super easy. Wasn't really sure noise wise what to expect because it was a pretty busy Saturday evening, but shoot. We slept like a rock, it was very quiet. We got one of the deluxe cabins and if you're looking into it, do it! Totally affordable for a one night stay in Estes Park during the busy season!

The porch swing on the deluxe cabins was divine! On top of the hill so no road noises...worth the extra expense to have your own space!
