Other than the tightness of parking, it was a great place to stay. I plan to return the next time I’m in the area.

Friendly folks, clean, well managed, great location, beautiful views

Loved the people and the area. The park was really crowded which caused some worry about getting out of our campsite on moving day.

Staff is very friendly and helpful! We love staying at KOAs! Very family friendly and we met a lot of great people! Definitely would recommend! Very close to RMNP and all the shops and restaurants!

Staff were friendly and very helpful in getting us into the very narrow and short site. Campground is well maintained as a KOA should be with sll the expected amenities. The location and demand for this campground combined with the lack of space are the major drawbacks.

We have been going to this KOA for the past nine years. The family who runs this KOA in Estes Park go above and beyond for their campers. It is obvious that they care, and genuinely enjoy what they do. We will continue to go see them annually for as long as we are able. Best place ever!!!!

The campground staff is very courteous and the facilities and grounds are well maintained; however, be prepared to be up close to your neighbors. Spaces are tight! If making reservations, be careful to observe posted length restrictions, and do not expect to remain hitched overnight as tow vehicles must typically park separately. All that being said, would we stay here again, absolutely!

Really friendly staff, great location, great view, a little tight with neighbors but we stayed as base camp to see Rocky Mountain NP so this was perfect!

We stayed in site 48 the first night, and loved the swing and fire pit. We moved to site 15 for the remainder of our stay and thoroughly enjoyed the patio deck and fire pit. The view was amazing. We loved seeing all the wildlife (elk, chipmunks, and a black bear) and Luis ( the retired baseball coach from Brian, TX) was super helpful and gave us tips on where to go and what to see at RMNP.

At first when we pulled up, we thought that is was going to be a bit cramped, but once we were there it was great. The staff was amazing and the facility was clean and well thought out. Definitely would stay here again and will !!

Nice host but the campgrounds are less than expected for Estes Park area.

We had a really nice stay. Campground was much smaller than we anticipated, but everyone was super helpful and friendly. Grounds were very clean. Would go back.

Very helpful & friendly staff

Beautiful little (tiny) campground. Wonderful staff, clean. Extremely tight and not at all big rig appropriate. Perfect for smaller units, but we were in a class A and towing. Pretty hair raising making the tiny turns to get our beast out of there. No place to hook up. We did that across the street in the sporting goods parking lot.

We had a great experience and the camp hosts Dianne and Louie were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They made our experience at our first visit to a KOA campground exceptional. They were very accommodating when we needed to change campsites after we arrived.

No parking. It was awful. Spaces very small.

On the free trolly line. Nice owners and employees. Spaces are a little tight, but it’s built on the side of a mountain

Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Also, the best pancakes and sweetest cookies! Beautiful location. Clean restrooms and campground.

Great location close to town. Walking, bike, running path around lake across the street. KOA owners and staff remarkable upkeep on older KOA with limited space.

The staff were outstanding in the way they maintained the campground. They were approachable and friendly. One of the best staffs and maintained KOA we have camped at

Wow!! One of the best trips we’ve been on. Had such an incredible time, Louie & Diane were amazing. They made the trip that much more memorable for our kids as well. Always energetic chatting with us and interacting with our children. I don’t have enough space to explain how wonderful the entire staff was. The campground was super clean, bathrooms were almost like walking into a Buc-ee’s.

Stayed I site 40. Staff are wonderful! Pretty tight , had not much shade. Bit pricey, but way cheaper than local motels.

The staff at Estes Park KOA were amongst the best we have experienced. Friendly, helpful, and willing to work at making campers experiences the best they can be. The park is meticulously maintained.

The tent site #6 it’s kind of small and way too noisy since it is on the road. That shouldn’t be a camp site in my opinion.

Been coming there since 1999, and the prices have skyrocketed. Still going to stay, just not as often. Retired and military and $275.00 for 2 nights in hard to manage on our budget. Have booked next year already but only 2 nights. We love it there.

Staff and facilities were amazing! Convenient for exploring the area without dealing with your vehicle. The FREE Edtes Park Visitor's shuttle stops AT KOA and takes you into the EP Visitor's Center at the edge of town. From there you can hop other free routes or walk around town!!

Best pancake breakfast, ever.

Great stay. However the spots for travel trailers/RVs are a little tight.

We used this KOA as our home base for our visit to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. We enjoyed full hookups for our camper, the kids loved the playground, and the location is convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. The owner even made time to ensure our stay went well and gave us passes to a nearby mountain coaster! I would definitely stay here again.

Great location with a beautiful view. Clean and comfortable, Breakfast was an added treat.

Clean showers. Pancake breakfast some mornings. Level spots. The only thing I didn’t like were the roads in the park were narrow.

Nice park. Helpful staff

The staff were the absolute best! So friendly and funny!!! So much family fun activities that we never participated in at other locations. Plus the spot with its own lounge area was such a nice touch. Would love to go back!

Beautiful and clean facility! So easy to access Estes Park and Rocky Mountain NP. Louie and his wife were amazing hosts. Everyone that works there is so friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. Fun meeting fellow campers at the socials.

It was wonderful seeing the children riding the train, the pancake breakfast and watching families walking their dogs. We will definitely be back in a couple of years when we’re coming through the area.

Staff (Diane and her husband) were fantastic with great recommendations about various hiking trails and things to see and do within the area. You can tell they really enjoy what they do in helping others have a great vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed this KOA, and we observed that all the kids were having a blast at the playground and with the fun activities! The views were beautiful. We loved that we could ride our bikes or walk the trail around the lake, with the access directly across the road from the KOA. Fishing was just as easy as that, too. We can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful! Friendly Staff from time of arrival to our departure. They make sure you have everything you need. Beautiful, clean campground, spacious RV sites with Terrance and picnic tables. Lots of trees for privacy and scenery. We will be back and I will recommend this site to others. 5 stars and more

Good points: beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains and very easy access to the Beaver Meadows entrance. Under 2 miles to town of Estes Park, where you can purchase fuel for vehicle and food at Safeway. Nice little tourist town with plentiful food options. The hosts are pleasant and helpful. Very good laundry room ($3/load). Clean showers and bath. Our site has a private balcony with a propane fire pit and amazing views of the mountains! Wow. The other stuff: Campsites are tiny and some are literally a wide spot next to the main drive. You won't be able to park your tow vehicle at site with the camper. Limited parking is available inside the park with additional parking in front of KOA office. Water pressure is low, flow rate is barely sufficient to trip our tankless water heater… we had to open the hot spigot at the sink to increase water flow, which further lowered the water pressure in the shower. Consider filling fresh water tank vs running straight from city water. Overall, I'd stay here again.

It was my pups and I's first time here, absolutely loved it. The ladies in the front office were super nice and helpful, they made checking in/out super easy. Wasn't really sure noise wise what to expect because it was a pretty busy Saturday evening, but shoot. We slept like a rock, it was very quiet. We got one of the deluxe cabins and if you're looking into it, do it! Totally affordable for a one night stay in Estes Park during the busy season!

The porch swing on the deluxe cabins was divine! On top of the hill so no road noises...worth the extra expense to have your own space!
