During the Alexander Mountain fire, we were evacuated from our home. The KOA not only provided us with a place to stay, but were some of the kindest and most supportive people we came across during a very stressful time. The location is a perfect balance of convenience and beauty, and I would highly recommend it to anyone travelling through Estes Park. Please support this amazing business.

We love the Estes Park and the KOA there. We live 15 hours away and were excited to make it back for a 2nd time this year. The spaces are small, but really not that bad, since we spend a lot of our time in the Rocky Mountain National Park during the day. The bathroom and try entire campground is very clean. This is the best campground at helping you park at your site.

Comfortable one-night stay in basic cabin. Convenient location and friendly helpful staff. Also had a great time people watching as guests enjoyed kids’ activities and evening ice cream!

We enjoyed the clean, well maintained facilities. The bathrooms were the cleanest campground bathrooms we've ever experienced! The amenities were OK, but we were disappointed that as a KOA holiday there was no pool or jumping pad. We thought all KOA Holidays had a pool, and the personal website did not offer a lot of information/photos like other KOA websites I have visited. Overall good though!

One of my favorite KOAs to date! The kids loved the weekend activities provided by the friendly staff. We loved the location across from the Estes Park Trail and the proximity to many activities.

We loved our stay! The cabin was clean, the playground was great, the staff was friendly, the bathrooms were in good shape and there was just a great energy about this campground. The views are obviously amazing and it was a great start to our stay in Estes Park.

We were there for 3 days. We enjoyed the staff and our neighbors very much.The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They were very helpful with directions to help us reroute our travel plans due to a fire that had a hiway closed. Even before we arrived they told how to get to them and avoid the road closures. We will definitely be back when we’re in that area!!

Really clean bathrooms, lovely staff, and loved the camp store/game room. Only negative was the horsey smell from next door that drifted over occasionally but that wasn't the KOA's fault.

This was our 3rd stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Campground is very clean—including bathrooms! We especially appreciate the dog park for our little dogs. We also GREATLY appreciate that marijuana use is prohibited throughout the campground. It is nice to smell fresh, clean mountain air without the smell of marijuana permeating our cabin from others.

The cabin was excellent, on of the best KOA’s we’ve stayed in. Only complaint would be that we were unaware of the one car policy when we booked. But 5 stars on everything else!

Estes Park KOA is probably the most hospitable KOA I have been to. Everyone was so very friendly and polite. The park was gorgeous, as well. Definitely will stay here again.

The grounds and the facilities are very clean and well maintained. The office/store is stocked with basic camp necessities. The campground staff are helpful and friendly. The tent sites are small and close together providing no privacy and noise barrier. Parking is not very accommodating for larger vehicles such as large pickup trucks and vans. All-in-all the campground is very family friendly.

Loved biking around the lake! Had great Indian food at Himalayan restaurant on Elkhorn. Although the campground was full a spaces a little tight, the staff assisted with parking our camper and were friendly and helpful in all our needs. We loved the picture op on the BIG CHAIR!!

Wish the shower doors actually blocked from ours looking in especially when there is a mirror directly across top. Lights turned off in the middle of my shower, didn't know you needed to turn knob.

Small gravel tenting camp sites, not much privacy from people next to you, and very pricey. Campground was clean and well maintained, staff was friendly and late check in was easy.

We loved it! The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was handy to everything, plus we enjoyed the free shuttle to Estes Park. The only thing we would change is the parking. We couldn't park our truck at the campsite, and there was sometimes not enough parking in the available lots. Then, we got reprimanded for loading/unloading our truck at the site. Please add more parking!

Good points: beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains and very easy access to the Beaver Meadows entrance. Under 2 miles to town of Estes Park, where you can purchase fuel for vehicle and food at Safeway. Nice little tourist town with plentiful food options. The hosts are pleasant and helpful. Very good laundry room ($3/load). Clean showers and bath. Our site has a private balcony with a propane fire pit and amazing views of the mountains! Wow. The other stuff: Campsites are tiny and some are literally a wide spot next to the main drive. You won't be able to park your tow vehicle at site with the camper. Limited parking is available inside the park with additional parking in front of KOA office. Water pressure is low, flow rate is barely sufficient to trip our tankless water heater… we had to open the hot spigot at the sink to increase water flow, which further lowered the water pressure in the shower. Consider filling fresh water tank vs running straight from city water. Overall, I'd stay here again.

It was my pups and I's first time here, absolutely loved it. The ladies in the front office were super nice and helpful, they made checking in/out super easy. Wasn't really sure noise wise what to expect because it was a pretty busy Saturday evening, but shoot. We slept like a rock, it was very quiet. We got one of the deluxe cabins and if you're looking into it, do it! Totally affordable for a one night stay in Estes Park during the busy season!

The porch swing on the deluxe cabins was divine! On top of the hill so no road noises...worth the extra expense to have your own space!
