Staff very helpful and friendly. The location is minutes away from shopping and restaurants and 15 minutes away from Rocky Mountain National Park. Well maintained campground.

Sites extremely cramped. You’ll definitely get to know your neighbors

Friendly hosts and beautiful views from the cabins.

Great location, nice staff & very clean

Staff was great. Campground was beautiful. Recommend a coin machine in the laundromat and recommend that you change out the doors in the restrooms to the showers. Too hard to open especially for seniors and there’s a 1 inch slit where people can see in while you’re dressing.

Excellent location. Great access to your utilities. Well kept grounds with lots of activities for any children. My only complaint - it is very close campsites. But we were not there for the camping but the activities in the area so no problem.

had a great time. Love the store's coffee and other items for sale, gamers, etc. Kids loved the playground. Cabin was cozy, beds were comfy. Thanks for the hospitality

Great time! Entire staff was courteous, friendly, and ready to help. Campground very well maintained. Fun to see kids playing outside instead of on electronics. They even had cap guns playing cops & robbers like the old days! Such fun memories for them. One of the best KOA campgrounds we’ve ever stayed at. Not to mention the beauty of Estes Park and the Rockies.

Very nice campground with even nicer people to take care of all of our needs. We had a great breakfast of pancakes and sausage one morning and there was an ice cream social one afternoon as well. Our site was one of the best with patio and porch with propane fire pit. We would recommend site #15.

The KOA staff were very helpful and friendly. The campsite was kept up nicely.

One of the finest KOA’s we have stayed in. Exceptionally nice workers too! Close to the NP and to the visitor center in Estes where the shuttle is.

The place itself is quite clean and bathrooms and showers were good. Staff was nice. Site’s are very close together. The problem was they sold cap guns for kids at the camp store so during dinner my morning coffee kids are running around shooting off cap guns. No peace quiet here. Left early.

The staff were awesome, everyone was so friendly. Our kids made friends with a bunch of others. It was fun to see them running around shooting cap guns. We don’t see enough of that in today’s digital age.

It’s always a great stay. Clean bathrooms/showers. Nice sites. Only complaint is the noisy road but given its location it’s unavoidable!

We had do much fun staying at the Estes Park KOA, talk about amenities we were used to bare bones camping - so the cabin and fire pit setup were such a relief and the staff were all so kind and my kids loved the playground. We are already planning our next stay! Thank you!

We upgraded our basic cabin to a deluxe. What a joy we had. A complete inside kitchen and a big bbq gas grill outside. There is a table so you can eat, a porch swing and a gas pit to sit by the fire during cold evenings. Close to RockyMountain NP, Estes Lake and the Stanley hotel. We visit the local winery and did the wineflight. KOA also sells The Oto, white is lovely. Super staff and fine laundr

Great view, nice shower rooms, wonderful people great location relative to park, dog playground and camp resources across street! It is a tight spot for camp - we could put up awning as we are in an REI 20’ Basecamp however if you’re a big rig this isn’t ideal location for you and you may need to park car separate from site.

Everything was clean and beautiful! Not sure of the ladies name who helped me at the counter, she was from Texas, but she was full of knowledge on what to see in the park! AND happy to help!

The most friendly staff ever!!! They were AMAZING with our children!!!

Excellent. The ownership and staff are as the best that we have experienced.

lovely

Good facility. Great staff. Spots are very narrow. Makes it impossible to not cross your neighbors boundary or keep and boundaries of your own. We will visit again. Greg and the pancakes were one of a kind.

We had a really nice stay! The cabin was clean and comfortable, bathrooms were clean, staff was friendly, and store was stocked well. My only complaint is that all the activities (pancake breakfast, train ride, etc.) were scheduled at times that were too late for our early-rising kiddo.

We enjoyed our stay at the KOA in Estes Park, Colorado. The site was cozy and had a nice fire pit and table on our site. Lots of room for our twenty-four foot motorhome and we were towing a tote vehicle. We enjoyed it so much we booked our next weekend stay in June.

Would have loved a milk or cream option for the coffee that was not powdered. Only sweet creamers available. Cabins and bathrooms were clean and staff was very friendly. We will be back :)

I was skeptical about getting a membership being that it was my first stay. That's all it took, I will most definitely be getting a membership because KOA makes camping easy.

One of our favorite places to stay each year! Beautiful scenery, and friendly service!

Greg (owner) and all of the staff are so kind and helpful. They’ll help with anything you need. We loved the propane fire pit at our site, pancake breakfast, playground, and kid’s train ride! The bathrooms are all very clean and cleaned often. We had a guest nearby us who was loud and Greg was quick to act and ensure that quiet hours were followed for all. Overall a great stay. Thank you Greg!

Great campground close to Estes lake, Eastes park town and rock mountain national park. Sites are very close and small.

Always relaxing and awesome!
May 26, 2025
It is a great place to stay, kids enjoyed. But the camp ground is little pricey. Everything else is great!

It was in one word, perfect

Good points: beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains and very easy access to the Beaver Meadows entrance. Under 2 miles to town of Estes Park, where you can purchase fuel for vehicle and food at Safeway. Nice little tourist town with plentiful food options. The hosts are pleasant and helpful. Very good laundry room ($3/load). Clean showers and bath. Our site has a private balcony with a propane fire pit and amazing views of the mountains! Wow. The other stuff: Campsites are tiny and some are literally a wide spot next to the main drive. You won't be able to park your tow vehicle at site with the camper. Limited parking is available inside the park with additional parking in front of KOA office. Water pressure is low, flow rate is barely sufficient to trip our tankless water heater… we had to open the hot spigot at the sink to increase water flow, which further lowered the water pressure in the shower. Consider filling fresh water tank vs running straight from city water. Overall, I'd stay here again.

It was my pups and I's first time here, absolutely loved it. The ladies in the front office were super nice and helpful, they made checking in/out super easy. Wasn't really sure noise wise what to expect because it was a pretty busy Saturday evening, but shoot. We slept like a rock, it was very quiet. We got one of the deluxe cabins and if you're looking into it, do it! Totally affordable for a one night stay in Estes Park during the busy season!

The porch swing on the deluxe cabins was divine! On top of the hill so no road noises...worth the extra expense to have your own space!
