snack bar closed even though signs states times it would be open. staff at officed blamed it on a shortage of help. sites are sandy and unkept, and when it rains becomes muddy and puddled. roads have potholes, and when it rains it is even worse. noiced scan ticket to enter, makes accountability better and keeps many vehicles of guests out

Everything was amazing! The staff and the park was by far one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Since moving out of state, my husband and I only return back to Michigan 1 time a year to camp and set up the haunted house with our friends and seriously this year was so smooth and all around perfect time! Can’t wait to come back

Your campsite have a lot of sand and very little grass. When it rains, the sand sticks to everything.

We have a very enjoyable stay at the Emmett KOA! The staff and campers alike were wonderful and friendly. We found your activities to be fun, your park clean, and the site we stayed on (13) perfect for our needs. We will definitely return in the near future! Thank you for a memorable weekend!

We love camping here and do 4 trips a year here. However this weekend we were assigned a campsite that didn’t not fit out camper. The site was smaller than our camper was in length. We were able to move to the site next to us but the hookups were poorly placed and had to go underneath our camper. We will make sure to pick our site every-time for now on.

Emmett koa is one of our favorite campground s, You're quiet you're in the woods we love the fishing, Jimmy and his staff are so wonderful, We were just there over halloween weekend, And they went all out with the haunted hayride in the haunted forest, We don't even have young children we are adults and we enjoyed it, It's our favorite hopefully we can be back One more time this year.

Staff was great. The park could use some gravel or some type of topping for RV units. The ground is a very fine dirt that gets everywhere and is difficult to clean. The laundry room is dirty and dingy. The machines are very old and not very efficient and only two of three washers were operational which one of them leaked a lot.

Picture of site 005 needs to be updated to show there’s a big tree stump in the middle of the site and not a tree. Grill did not work but a different one was brought to the site. We were able to cook dinner albeit much later than we’d planned. Park was nice and bath house was reasonably clean.

Check-in process very poorly organized. The requirement for an escort to site seems unnecessary considering sites are marked and map provided. Quiet hours starting at 11pm seems a bit late for young kids trying to sleep with a loud DJ/concert going on. Also did not appreciate phone call 24 hours prior to check-in trying to get me to “lock in” site for additional fee. Seems cheap/nickle and dim

It’s not a bad campground, honestly just nothing special to make it stand out….. very small which may be a plus, but exiting the campground on Sunday is a disaster…… you literally could be stuck in line for an hour, even if you don’t have to dump, because of the one ways you’re stuck jumping pillow big deal, neat lil in the woods scary Forrest, but man this place nickels & dimes for

Thank you for choosing us for your Halloween camping. We are sorry this was your experience. We do our best to monitor the park at night with night security walking the park. Once notified of the situation, we monitored the area closer and notified our campers in hope we could catch those out late.

I call it Nickel&Dime the campers. The office called my family member & asked if he wanted to guarantee his site if so, pay $15 extra. Disgusting since he already paid a deposit for a site. Then charging for visitors is bad too. Visitor is purchasing from your camp store & snack bar too. Just all around disappointing. I will not go back & I’ll tell everyone who asks me the reason.

Thank you for your feedback. We hope you were able to enjoy our Halloween events. Online reservations are often made with requests to be near someone without choosing to lock in a site, we do make courtesy calls to try and lock campers in to be near friends to ensure system does not move them.

Kids liked the huge swimming area. Walked around the pond and saw frogs and tadpoles. Kids play area was nice.

Had a great stay lots are big, could use some more rocks or fill dirt other than that everything is great. Love the text alerts about activities throughout the day.

The Place is really nice camp grounds. We really like it there. Only problem we had, was the spot they put us in was to short for my trailer and my truck to go into. Only fit my trailer in. My truck was park away from us. I ask if I could move to the next one which was a lot longer for me and she said no. Then for the next 4 days I watched two other 15 foot tr.go next to me. I have a 40 ft.? Why.

We had a wonderful stay… just didn’t like being overcharged in excess of 30.00 and I still haven’t heard anything on a refund or removal of the additional guests from next years bookings… it’s been a couple days..

We had a great time, the staff is excellent. The only problem was low water pressure and no cable or internet.

We had a great weekend at Emmett! The campground is beautiful and peaceful. It is clean and well maintained with a ton of activities. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. We love going to Emmett. It is like a home away from home. I highly recommend Emmett!

I really enjoyed camping here until this past weekend. Quiet time and site occupancy rules not upheld. Owner and staff did nothing but offered us a refund if we left at 10p when our child was already in bed sleeping. Calls and texts to staff went unanswered when quiet time was not followed by a group. I had to ask them to quiet down which lead to them threatening me and I called the sheriff.

We love the campground/amenities. The only thing we noticed was how horrible the mosquitoes were. We had to reapply bug spray from the moment you came outside and we still ended up with a ridiculous number of bites. Staff told one of our family that you already sprayed 2-3 times this season for mosquitoes, if that is the case, it may need it more. We wouldn't go back if it stays this bad

The mosquitoes were UNBEARABLE. It doesn't seem like they sprayed at all for them and we were being eaten alive. Also the playground was so filthy it turned my sons hand black. I have never seen a playground that dirty before.

The KOA is good. We have been multiple times. This year was not as good. Mosquitos were horrible. With bug spray and long sleeves/pants no one could enjoy being outside. We all left with over 100 bites. Also, the new policy of no outside fire wood is a bit much. Some of us live with 15 minutes of the campground, the wood from our house is no different than wood from your location.

Thank you for choosing us for your camping trip. This camping season, we have battled a wet season causing many mosquitos, we have been spraying. We continue to ask there is no outside firewood brought in for the protection of our surrounding trees. Our wood is treated to ensure no infestation.

Emmett KOA was one of the nicer KOAs we stayed at during our monthlong trip. Great features for kids (waterpark, jumping pillow, games, playground). Working and inexpensive 24 hour laundry and clean bathrooms.

I felt that Emmitt provided fun and entertainment for kids on weekend but nothing during the week or Sundays I also felt that adding extra people above 2 was expensive.

Friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint (and it's important for campers to know) is that quiet hours are not enforced. I was told that Security patrols the grounds at "about 12:30pm." Quiet hours begin at 11 pm and it was VERY loud. Security needs to begin making their rounds at 11:15 and informing loud (and rude) campers to quiet down. Go inside and have fun, but don't impose on others
