We call Emmett KOA “Infection Lake” the kids have come home with ear infections, pink eye or swimmers itch on different visits.

Some of the staff isn’t very knowledgeable when it came to asking about camp sites or other things. Camp ground is clean and quiet. Not worth that price point though.

Way too dense, spots on top of one another. Neighbor group loudly talking and laughing until well after 1am. Strange deal about wearing wrist bands like a hospital. On the bright side, the [all young] employees were cheerful and helpful.

We come here a couple times a year and never have been able to connect to the wifi and this time couldn’t get 1 tv channel to come in. Usually we can get a few even if they aren’t very clear. The improvements around the grounds look great.

We always have a fantastic time at Emmett KOA. This campground is perfect. It has everything a campground should! Nice wooded, roomy & clean sites, activities for the kids, a great playground, large pond, fantastic swimming area, large beach, catch and release fishing, a trail around the pond, food concessions along with ice cream & friendly staff. Who wouldn't want to camp here? HIGHLY RECOMMEND

For the price of a pullthru site, the sites are way to small. Amenities are basic. Everything is dirty & so much loose gravel. One of our kids ended up getting hurt pretty bad just by walking and tripped on the large rocks everywhere. As many times the staff drove in circles to "montior" on their carts, money could be better spent on paved roads. The playground was subpar and fishing/pond is okay.

Friendly, clean, family friendly. Only note I would like to see is a weekend list of events posted in common areas. Hero’s weekend noted on website did not happen. Children were disappointed.

Every thing was good but need to upgraded the internet any parent or person working from home would not be able to use it when got connected only worked a little bit the reconnect I have stay at several koa in michigan this is first one that didn't have good internet �

We have a blast every time we stay at this KOA, it's our favorite place to visit! The staff make us feel like family and we enjoy all of the fun activities for kids and us adults too.

Most of the stay was lovely. There were a few things that made this not 5 star. The new bathrooms by the swimming area had zero heat, no mirrors and freezing cold shower water. It was 37�� when we stayed this past weekend. I did mention it to staff, who said the hot water was hooked up, but it never worked properly. We had to walk all the way across camp to the main bathrooms.

We enjoy the setting of the property (woods, pond). Lot needed some updating-additional stone to help level the camper area. It was difficult to get it level. We felt for the cost per night, the site would have been better. Showers over by the volleyball lacked places to put/hang clothing or shower bag. No mirrors? We have stayed at other koa parks with better amenities for the same price.

We had site #3. Our stay was filled with cold Temps and rain. But if it was sunny and 75 then I would think we had the perfect campsite.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Was not happy our only full day camping was when the lawn guys were there. So ALL day, even into evening we just heard mowers. That was not fun and made it a less than good experience. But they have to maintain the lawn so can't be upset. Even though we were the only campers on the entire side of camp, they still hassled us about having both vehicles at site.

Spent 3 May nights. Weather was below average, but the Emmett Staff made the long weekend most enjoyable. To start, our camping mates were given our after-hours paperwork in order for us, despite the staff being gone for the night. Ed (night supervisor) was extremely social; he visited our site to talk 2-3 times. The owner, Jimmy, helped us with an issue with our rig during checkout. Love it

We have stayed there before and it's a nice little campground. However, during our recent stay, we were unable to use most of our campsite due to an infestation of ground bees. The staff tried to help but there were a large amount of them.

Sites are entirely too close together. We had a patio site, which was fine, but the other site are on top of each other. The check in process was too much. Walk from the gate 100 yards to the check in and back, only one care allowed in and charging $5 per day for parking OUTSIDE the gate with a one time barcode to get in? The wristband we had to wear was over the top. Won't be back!

This was our first time at Koa Emmett. We had the most wonderful time. My boys loved everything and I essentially loved having a campsite right across from the park. We liked it so much we booked in again for September. The sites were nice and spacious and the amenities were clean and up to date.

Check in was easy, firewood was delivered quickly, the bathrooms were clean, the campground was quiet at night. Plenty of things for our 2 year old to do! He loved the bucket rides, playground, ice cream, and pizza! Great place for family camping

We arrived after office hours on a Sunday. Having prepaid the process for letting ourselves in was simple and the site was gorgeous, spacious, well equipped with a grill, picnic table and comfy Muskoka chairs arranged around a fire pit. Only comment is ignore the direction signs when figuring how best to access your site. I would love to have stayed longer.

We always enjoy our stay at Emmett Koa. Everyone is always welcoming, helpful and kind.the owners have been working hard making some needed changes, and the park is looking beautiful!

P21 site is terrible unless you have kids. So small, worthless in my opinion. I really miss the texting, but I understand they are working on it. Possibly better prizes for bingo also.

We love Emmett KOA. The kids always have a blast, plenty for them to do even when the weather isn’t great. The new pull thru sites are great and spacious as well.

Jimmy and his staff have done an excellent job! Our grandkids loved it, and there was lots of activities for them to be involved with. The fireworks display was more than we expected, and we will definitely be back.!!
