The only thing I didn’t care about was the need for someone to check me out of the cabin before I could get my security deposit. There was a huge lineup at 8:50 in the morning and I had to wait for one person to check all these cabins out in order to get my security deposit back. Never had an issue before and this is a new thing that was implemented before . Needs to be a better process

We had a wonderful stay, cabin clean, beautiful view. Only down side was microwave wouldn't always work because the wall shiocket is defective, lose wire?? The microwave works if plugged into a different socket by no place to put microwave. The office was aware from previous customers but had not been taken care of because sometimes the microwave works, sometimes it doesn't, but it's not the micro

We love Emmett and our kids loved being at Emmett. They didn't want to leave the campground.

Stayed with friends & grandkids. Loved trick or treating, ice cream, pizza and campfires. Was disappointed that all activities had additional charges and that 50/50 tickets were sold. Pam (from store) handled 2 situations for us in a kind yet professional manner. Loved the deluxe cabin!

We loved our stay at Emmett KOA! The campground was great, but we wish there were more activities for the kids, especially on Friday and Sunday morning while parents pack up. Some activities were a little pricey for families with multiple kids, and the camp store was expensive. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back!

A wonderful Halloween weekend! Staff was wonderful and helpful from the front desk, delivering, snack bar , haunted wagon ride and haunted trail. Wonderful seeing Rylee taking on several roles and being in haunted forest. Special to mine and the grandsons was the old Emmett KOA truck painted and used for a photo prop! Such great memories! Haunted forest was awesome! Thank you !

We always try to make it out a few times a year. We love this campground. It’s a smaller family owned one which we love.

As always the stay is wonderful. Maybe a suggestion or 2. A mirror in the cabin (doesn't have to be big) also c07 & c08 have no access to water which would be helpful. Maybe a camp kitchen or even just a spigot.

We had a amazing time! We had a large group of us that stayed and everyone left happy! Thank you for the memories! (We stayed in 3 different cabins and one camper site)

Our kids always have fun at Emmett. There are a few things that would make the campground more convenient. The new cash-only deposit is a huge hassle especially considering there is no ATM on site. The pizza ordering could also be way easier. Why not allow people to order online without having to walk to the shop to pay. And then send an alert when the food is ready, etc.

It was great. My only qualm was the food we ordered the last day we stayed didn’t make the first round but I think that was on my sending at 1:50 We ended up leaving early with 2 small kids but will definitely be back

Overall, the stay was pleasant. The staff was polite and helpful. The facilities were clean and fairly well maintained with some exceptions. The outdoor propane gas grill was problematic. The burners were blocked especially toward the front of the grill. This made cooking difficult. The Wi-Fi was an absolute joke and not functional, continuously shutting down. Gave up on using the Wi-Fi.

The staff is wonderful! They are polite, caring, and help with all needs or concerns. The campground is very clean including the bathrooms and showers. We’ve been there 3 years in a row and plan on coming back next year.

We are retired and meet our kids here for extended weekends, the deluxe cabins are perfect. Walk in with food, clothes and bedding and your all moved in! There is so much for the kids! Recently we had our annual extended family camp weekend; have already booked again for 2027.

First time campers, in a deluxe cabin. Kids had things to do, crafts and games. We had a wonderful time. We will definitely be back.

Some of the new policies rubbed most of our group members the wrong way - the nickel and diming (charging per person on top of the site/cabin fees) as well as an extra $10 fee to reserve a specific site even after paying to reserve a site. Also, if you’re going to inconvenience folks with a cash deposit in 2026 you at least need your have ATM on site. We will be considering other options for 202

It was a great stay. The way it’s ran is a little uptight which can be a little tedious and annoying. But the campground itself is really nice! My kids are a little scared of the catfish in the pond. And dogs are allowed, which you have to pay each day for, but they’re not allowed on the beach, and they also don’t have their own beach/swim area.. So the price you pay to have a pet isn’t wo

Not enough power for cabins and poor wifi. I popped circuit breaker plugging in an extension cord for a simple electric skillet. And no mini fridge or microwave. For the price of the rental I did expect at least that. I paid equivalent at port huron and did get at least the microwave and fridge

Cabin mattress needs to be replaced, swings need yo be refinished, no chairs on beach, sand not refreshed, pond needs to restocked with fish, bathroom baseboards are disgustingly dirty, putput golf needs to be refreshed, wood very expensive. Overall don’t feel that we get out money’s worth. Keep raising rates, but nothing new that benefits my family.

1st yr out of 13 yrs our family has been coming, it was very unwelcoming this time. Two nieces with pop ups had problems. One that was guided into her site by the employees there, was yelled at the next day by the owner for how her popup was pulled in. We rent about 7 cabins, usually weekdays, but we're thinking of going to a new location for future family reunion trips. We use to love it here.

We had a large group gathering. The only negatives were that the staff seemed to come around about 10:30 and ask that we be quiet - yet quiet hours weren't until 11. Also, someone apparently complained about our music at the lake, although several guests complimented us on our choice of music and were enjoying it. I probably read it, but I didn't realize we had a charcoal grill at our cabin.

The campground and all that it has to offer is extremely kid friendly. Cleanliness of the park is excellent. Office staff upon checking in is extremely poor. More times than not rude! We had a family reunion ( the 3 rd one here) and was taken back with the office greeting/ check in. Outside of that process, Everyone attending whether the day or camping through the weekend had positive thoughts

I was surprised that there is a new request from all cabin users for a $50 CASH deposit! This is ridiculous no one carries cash any more and if this was a new thing we should of been notified. You should also put an ATM on site if this is something you plan on doing. The queen mattress in DS 4 needs to be replaced please. Thank you

We love cabins c07 and c08 however there is no water access for these. We would love to see a camp kitchen or even a simple spigot put by these like they do at c01-c06. Otherwise our visits are always amazing!

Jimmy and his staff have done an excellent job! Our grandkids loved it, and there was lots of activities for them to be involved with. The fireworks display was more than we expected, and we will definitely be back.!!
