Some of the new policies rubbed most of our group members the wrong way - the nickel and diming (charging per person on top of the site/cabin fees) as well as an extra $10 fee to reserve a specific site even after paying to reserve a site. Also, if you’re going to inconvenience folks with a cash deposit in 2026 you at least need your have ATM on site. We will be considering other options for 202

It was a great stay. The way it’s ran is a little uptight which can be a little tedious and annoying. But the campground itself is really nice! My kids are a little scared of the catfish in the pond. And dogs are allowed, which you have to pay each day for, but they’re not allowed on the beach, and they also don’t have their own beach/swim area.. So the price you pay to have a pet isn’t wo

Not enough power for cabins and poor wifi. I popped circuit breaker plugging in an extension cord for a simple electric skillet. And no mini fridge or microwave. For the price of the rental I did expect at least that. I paid equivalent at port huron and did get at least the microwave and fridge

Pour me rendre a mon terrain les branches frottait sur mon motorisé et on m'a placé sur un terrain qui était pas de niveau dans toutes les directions. Tight campsites, after parking your trailer in the “assigned” position left little room for campfire or privacy on your spot. The young people that assisted with the parking were not old enough to drive themselves so they had no conception of driving or blind spots when backing a trailer, they could use a little training in this matter.

Love this place. Quiet. Much more rustic not so commercial. Kids love the pond. The owner is fantastic. We had our breaker for the electric go out at 1 in the morning and they came and fixed the situation in 15 mins. Highly recommend.

Young man that guided us. into our site, didn't know how to park a trailer. Also, never had I had to unhook for 1 night, in all the KOAs we have stayed in. Not impressed, that we had to weat a wrist band.

Cabin mattress needs to be replaced, swings need yo be refinished, no chairs on beach, sand not refreshed, pond needs to restocked with fish, bathroom baseboards are disgustingly dirty, putput golf needs to be refreshed, wood very expensive. Overall don’t feel that we get out money’s worth. Keep raising rates, but nothing new that benefits my family.

Not like it used to be. The bathrooms were not cleaned all weekend. They were so nasty and ran out of toilet paper. The water and electricity are not on the correct side. The foam party is good idea but needs a new machine, not much foam. Not many activities for a theme weekend and the price you pay I expected more. Used to go there a lot but not sure if we will be back.

Nice camp ground, paved main roads would be so much better. Very dusty. Great campgrounds for family's.

Know your customers-don't put older people with no kids/no pets in the middle of the chaos of families & campfires. After being moved from first campsite further away from the chaos, electric didn't work, had to wait for it to be fixed, sewer connection stripped, couldn't connect properly. Had to back up into a tree to reach it, Site 66. Stayed at many KOAs in past that were good - NOT THIS ONE.

Loved our 10 day visit. The jumping pillow was a hit could use a a camera or something to watch for kids doing flips and being reckless, loved the train, connect 4, putt putt. would like to see more things on playground for the little ones. Missed all arts and crafts due to naps but that's ok. All in all Christmas in july was a great time can't wait for Halloween our next visit.

I have been coming here for years and this past weekend my trip felt different than the past. It seemed some of the staff was lazy and not motivated to be at work. I was surprised that the beach was not smoothed out like it has been in the past every morning. The escorts were not as knowledgeable with backing in campers and our spot that was provided for us was very crowded with other campers.

Overall the stay was good. Nice relaxing weekend. But for a themed weekend there was not much to the activities geared towards the theme of the weekend. The bath house in the back by the W sites was absolutely disgusting. They were dirty, toilet paper all over, no toilet paper, toilets clogged all the time. The front bathhouse by store smelled like sewage at times. We probably will not be back

The campground is a good size and we had a mostly good time. However, the bathroom/ showers were so bad. By the end of our stay 2/4 toilets were clogged and the other bathrooms were dirty. Quite hours were not respected or enforced. A neighboring campsite had loud music playing until midnight every night. $5 / $10 to rent old and poorly maintained bikes for 30 min. Rusted chains and broken seats.

Overall it was great stay as new camper to KOA campground. Grandkids had best time! Downfall, not being able to bring wood, bundles expensive for little wood and Dump station is in horrible spot it blocks entry for gate and makes you have to back up and reposition. I imagine during busy days exiting times this is even worse. We will be back at some point Thanks

1st yr out of 13 yrs our family has been coming, it was very unwelcoming this time. Two nieces with pop ups had problems. One that was guided into her site by the employees there, was yelled at the next day by the owner for how her popup was pulled in. We rent about 7 cabins, usually weekdays, but we're thinking of going to a new location for future family reunion trips. We use to love it here.

We had a large group gathering. The only negatives were that the staff seemed to come around about 10:30 and ask that we be quiet - yet quiet hours weren't until 11. Also, someone apparently complained about our music at the lake, although several guests complimented us on our choice of music and were enjoying it. I probably read it, but I didn't realize we had a charcoal grill at our cabin.

Felt very unwelcome this trip. Rules are getting worse than the state campgrounds and seem to be only for non seasonal campers. I was in a pop up and the Christmas music from a seasonal site played every 7 minutes alllll night. Let staff know and nothing was done.

Site 11 was in a great location, there was no pool but was great to have a lake to fish and swim in, the bikes were awful, put putt golf was small (but a nice amenity), & the playground was not bad. Not many amenities overall in the park.

We love staying at this campground live the cozy woods and the beach. The owner Jimmy was also very helpful to loaning us a hitch pin for our trailer until it was moved. We were very thankful for that!

The campground and all that it has to offer is extremely kid friendly. Cleanliness of the park is excellent. Office staff upon checking in is extremely poor. More times than not rude! We had a family reunion ( the 3 rd one here) and was taken back with the office greeting/ check in. Outside of that process, Everyone attending whether the day or camping through the weekend had positive thoughts

Jimmy and his staff have done an excellent job! Our grandkids loved it, and there was lots of activities for them to be involved with. The fireworks display was more than we expected, and we will definitely be back.!!
