This campground is a true gem. It's the perfect size - and the kids love it. Between the beach, wibbit, fishing and the pillow, we couldn't ask for a better place.

WE have been coming to EMMETt KOA for years. New owners have made some more improvements .Very clean campground ,friendly staff ,and well stocked store .

Need more food choices and the hours should be longer. The ice cream store should be all day not just certain hours of the day.

The area we stayed flooded after it rained, making such a big mess. Other than that, we enjoyed the camping.

The cabin we had was not worth the price. It was full of flies when we arrived. The ceiling fan in the bedroom ticked loudly all night long. Outdoor light did not work so coming in out to the campfire with kiddos was unsafe. The door was peeling, underneath of cabins was fully exposed so kids could easily climb underneath. For $200/night, we will be camping somewhere better maintained in the futur

Staff is attentive. Offers interactive events for kids! Very quiet atmosphere. Bathrooms stay very clean. Overall a great place to camp!

I couldn’t stay my second night cause of check out you can’t Check out till 9am cause the office is not open till then and if you want if you have credit card you could but they have to look at your cabin before you leave makes no sense and no pillows or blankets. I prolly will not be staying there again.

We are sorry you had to leave early. We are working through a new process by taking a cash deposit at check in. In the case of a camper leaving while the office is closed, we have been able to work out a refund the next day over the phone. At this time, we do offer limited cabins with linens.

Great stay, a big family attraction due to the swimming lake. Staff was very helpful assisting me in backing into a great, but difficult site. The location was excellent for our travel plans.

We brought our 5 grandkids to Emmett and they had a wonderful time! So much to do, they were never bored! Thank you!!

The pipe for the grey/ black tank drains on the full hook up sites set up so high it is hard to drain your tanks, and for the people that have to use the dump station it’s located right at the front gate on the same side as the in coming traffic, really make no sense and makes it hard for the people trying to leave that had full hook up because they get stuck in line since it’s the only way ou

the place for the RV is too small,too loud no relaxation so we had to leave early. Not so recommend it annoys us about the waste time.

Beautiful place, lots of family activities. Pizza was amazing and the price was right. Staff delivered our pizza and camping wood. Thank you for everything. I'm going to come back in 2 weeks.

We got charged $15 for coming in 45 minutes early when we were in between leaving PH KOA and coming to this one. No WiFi & I had to work so I had to call in. No cable TV when we paid for a premium site with cable. A worker was extremely rude & condescending to my husband who was trying to help someone back in. The cost of this trip was high. one would think they would've tried to compensate. Nope.

The sites were very small like they have to smash as many campers in as possible. Having to pay extra for a motorcycle that we had to park outside the gates did not sit well with my husband. The swimming lake looked okay but I don’t know if it gets tested for bacteria or not so did not swim. Other than that, the workers were very friendly and helpful.

Great place for rv and cabin, tent sites with electric are not the best at all. Far from bathrooms, sand for ground so the steaks that come with tent won’t hold in the ground. steaks, far walk to the nearest bathroom. Just feel the price you pay compared to others like port Huron koa is not at all worth it.

We have been coming since the 1st year Jimmie and his family have owned it. Each year we notice more improvements. The lake and beach are marvelous and the path around the lake is the perfect place for walking. The grandkids love the floating play structures in the lake as well as the slide. However the wifi/cable needs improvement. We will be back next year!

It is a beautiful campground my big problem is the corner lot we had was on the the road that site should never be rented the staff was very friendly cars as they came around corner was less than 2 feet from where we satverydangerous for children I tried to get a camp site changed but they couldn’t plz check site p18 not a good site for anyone

Very clean cabin. Comfortable and outside was very tidy. Knife block was missing knives and pans were in very poor shape and not usable.

Had a good time, love the lake and all the floats in the lake, kids had a lots to do, and kept busy , I like the idea that it is a smaller KOA. The only complaint I have is the water smelled like rotten eggs.

Great play to stay with lots of activities! A big sign at the entrance on where to stop with your RV before the gate would be helpful. Since you can’t get in without a pass card, it would help not blocking the gate area!

Campground was under powered running as low as 104 volts not good for AC unit or Refrigerator. 87 yr old parents came to visit for a day, went to the office the day before to allow them to drive in and no communication to employees and they made them park in visitor lot approximately 1/4 mile away in 90 degree heat. When I got involved they let them drive in. Poor WiFi & cable not working !!!

We arrived aroond 1pm Friday Aug 8, 2025. I was unaware there was a $15 charge for early check in. I have never before in my life been charged that. Started off on wrong foot. Left BAD taste in my mouth. I asked them if I checked out 8am on Sunday could I get that $15 refunded? No. We ended up leaving Saturday night. Our site was P22. Very small. All dirt. No grass.

All was great until around 8pm when we ordered more wood for smores and breakfast, well it was never delivered and my card was charged but besides that kids had fun

The kids had a blast! Really enjoyed the campground. Only complaint is that our entire site (#48) was a mix of sand and dirt. We felt filthy the entire week. The owner did tell us that they plan to do a heavy set for next year and that would definitely be an improvement. Next time we’ll stay at a cement patio.

We love this campground! It is well maintained, clean and safe for children. The employees are friendly, competent and respectful. We like the smallness of it, the lake, the beach and the new location of the jumping pillow.

We rented a rustic cabin for 2 nights during the week. We enjoyed our stay very much. Somehing to recommend: another train ride slot for the kids during the day during the week and weekends.

Jimmy and his staff have done an excellent job! Our grandkids loved it, and there was lots of activities for them to be involved with. The fireworks display was more than we expected, and we will definitely be back.!!
