We booked the buddy site with a friend of ours, the cement pad, two fire pits & patio furniture were all great to have! The lake was clean & my kids had a blast on the obstacle course that is in the lake. The only thing that surprised me were the catfish swimming in the lake, although, they didn’t bother anyone!

So much to do on Friday and Saturday, but no train or activities Sunday or Monday. Possibly there wasn't enough campers to attend those days. Other than that, all was great!

Sites are very tight, but we are used to staying at Michigan State Parks so we expected that. The ACTIVITIES and STAFF were absolutely GREAT! It was nice to see an obstacle course in the water.

Excellent service from the Emmett KOA staff. Very clean, bathrooms were clean and in great condition. Nice clean lake. I will definitely stay at the Emmett KOA in the future!

I think it's time to replace the mattresses. So very uncomfortable! Same mattresses as last year. No large or medium bowls. Broken faucet in bathroom. Note to owners: put a little money into your cabins!

I arrived at 1:40pm on a Monday. Didn't realize check in was 3pm. They charged and took from me $15 for early check in without the courtesy of telling me. Sent a nice email to the owner when I realized this. Jimmy never responded. Seems you care more about the 15 bucks than you do about your patrons. Really disappointed in our experience that could have easily been addressed if the owner cared.

As always the kids (8 and 9 years old) had a great time at the park, bounce pillows, lake and riding bikes around. The employees were very helpful and fun and kept the grounds clean.

My stay was good. Staff was very kind. Multiple dogs off leashes and some longer than 6 ft was scary at times when they ran out at my dogs and children. Otherwise we enjoyed our visit. Thank you

We love this campground. I love that it has lots of great amenities for the kids but is also wooded and feels cozy. I love all of the activities they plan throughout the day and the staff are so nice. Can't wait to come back!

First night we got in late, we were escorted to our site and the gentleman actually walked us through backing up our new camper. He was awesome! The rest of the staff was also very friendly throughout our stay. Inflatable obstacle course was super fun too! Only issue, People don't listen. There were guests that had dogs swimming in the swimming area and no one told them to remove them.

It became clear that management allows special treatment for their friends/family who are staying at the campground. Their friends/family were allowed to use profanity, inappropriate and incredibly loud music and make other campers feel uncomfortable with threatening behaviors. I have never felt so uncomfortable and no one did anything about it.

We ask all campers to follow our same policies and guidelines to ensure all campers enjoy their stay. If there are any issues on-site, we do ask that they are brought to the staff's attention in order to address issues immediately.

It was the worst. Came in Sunday and ordered wood. Never received the wood till Monday evening. Told them our fridge wasn't working and they said it was because we put hot food in there which we didn't.

We usually love this kOA and come up several times a summer, But not quite sure if we’ll come back, be safer to ninth and on our last night there ordered a pizza and the girl at the front desk after our pizza shut up burnt promised us a free pizza and the manager who dropped it off policy was a manager I am is so rude and says you’re not get a free pizza because of burnt pizza I was just ridic

Cabin was dirty we had to sweep it out there’s a non Mary Jane policy but somehow we could still smell it being smoked. People starting fires with gasoline college age girls in thong bikinis even though it’s supposed to be a family oriented place oh and foul mouthed teenagers in the pond that you could hear I all over the place. But yeah over all it was ok (sarcasm)

Need to do something about the extra car parking situation!! Wood and ice delivery needs to be much faster. Especially not allowing any outside wood.

I booked a 6 person cabin, got there they had me in a four person. They "accommodated me" by not charging me for the 6 person cabin and telling me even you know the fire code is four they would allow me to let my 44 yr adult cousin come and stay in there anyway, without a bed. When my family member came they would not waive a $5 fee for her to park on the main rd. Ordered ice and it took an hr.

Everything was great, just wish the dumpout station was in a different location. Was very backed up from people who had full hookups that didn’t need to dump.

Always a good time except they put us on the playground..worse spot ever!! Ill have to book my next visit on the phone to make sure I dont get put near there again..that was pretty awful!

This was our first time staying here and my whole family loved it! The camp sites were clean, and I loved that the staff was always around to help. My family also loved all of the activities available for the kids to do. Thanks for a great experience and we will be back

Not enough amenities for little kids. Was looking forward to the scheduled activities, but did not see them going on. Camp sites were small and crowded. The dumb station was not positioned great.

What a great experience for our first time camping!! All 3 kids enjoyed there time and loved all the activities. I would definitely recommend staying at the Emmett KOA and so close to home!

Love this campground. We come every year. So much for kids to do. Our younger kids love the beach and sand and the older ones love the fishing. We adults love being able to watch both groups from one spot. Only complaint is regerstation process... being stopped in middle of driveway is a hassle and hardship. Having to walk up to office and walk back to enter is difficult for me as a handicappe

I was very disappointed in our stay this year. Paid for early check in and still had to wait until 3pm for key even though cabin was clean and available. Banana bike tires flat, no refund. Charged for damages we didn’t cause. Won’t return.
