Grass dying except at clubhouse. Dog park is mostly weeds even stickers which got all in their pads. Very loud road noise the entire night. For the price even with my military discount, I do not feel this place was worth it. Only benefit is the river. It appears they stopped watering any grass accept by the main entrance instead they have be placed plastic flowers around. Pictures deceiving

I love most KOAs. However this one is way over priced. Staff was not friendly, the camp site I was given was terrible. The layout if the site was very odd with the patio and hookups on opposite sides of the site…and I was right up agaist the maintenance barn and main entry. And at $500 for the weekend stay was way over priced. Will not be back!

I reserved a site close to the facilities, with grass, and away from the river and K9 Kamp. What I got was an "upgrade" to a dusty unkempt site close to the river. The site could have been perfect, but it was a good walk away from poorly maintained porta potties with no toilet paper, and a longer walk to get water. I believe I paid too much for the primitive site. Maybe one more try.

Dry and dusty, not much grass and not much being watered, it’s a poor look and dusty. Freeway location is noisy at night and early mornings. Sites are very close together, I could almost reach out and touch my neighbor. For the cost I expected better. Internet was spotty, typical of most KOA locations, nothing upgraded in years.

This is a convenient place to stay in Ellensburg, but there aren't any other options here. Expensive for a quick stop, however if you used the pool or other amenities, you might find it worth the $125 cost. We didn't. This average KOA needs maintenance and the cost to stay is very high.

We arrived Thursday at around 3pm. We were escorted to our spot 34B. When I plugged into the outlet I had no power to the trailer. One of the camp workers said go ahead and plug into 34A and they block out that spot. We said are you sure , because now is a good time to change spots. We left the campsite at around 11am next and returned at 4pm to find somwone is in 34A and our trailer was unplug

Nice sites near the river, big trees, grassy in most sites. Dog park is spacious with some grass and shade. Didn’t use the restrooms or showers; didn’t use the pool but it looked very good. Staff were friendly and professional. Garbage pickup at the campsite is a plus.

I was happy to get a place to stay for one night as I made my journey to meet up with my brother who is hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. Dog Park is really a nice size.

The site (ground) we stayed at, and the surrounding areas, needed to be cleaned better. We found several bottle caps on the ground and garbage in the bushes.

Staff was very friendly and very helpful! They were on top of the stuff in the campground and it was very clean and neat. Kids and us loved the stay and the grounds!

I camped here 4 years ago and swore I'd never come back. They don't water so the sites are dusty and full of weeds. The dog park is nothing but dry brittle weeds that I'm sure don't feel good to the dogs feet. Tall weeds growing up around the posts where you plug your RV in, restrooms and the fence at dog part. Junk is stored next to the restroom. As much as they charge it is NOT TAKEN CARE OF.

Very disappointed in the campground especially when we had to pay $80 a night. It was dusty with the gravel, dead trees and the grass areas at the campsites were dead. There was a dead tree at our campsite that was splitting and it could easily fall on a camper or person with the strong winds in that area. KOA please do better!

Had a great time. All staff were very helpful and informative and easy going. Everyone seemed to be happy campers that I saw walking around the property.

We stayed here because it was a good in between spot during our trip. It was very clean, front desk person was super nice and got us checked in quickly.

It was just OK. KOA‘s are expensive and yours didn’t have much to offer. The tent site was not on the river as explained because there’s so much brush that hasn’t been cleared. I had a homeless guy asked me if he could stay at my site during the night. The power went out $80 was way too much money for what this campground offered, which wasn’t much. I was just in a tent.

Clean older facilities. Campground is a dirty dusty gravel parking with sparse weedy grass in between. Nice trees. Right next to freeway with non-stop truck and traffic roaring constantly. Only stayed as it was a convenient spot to park for the night. Massively overpriced at $110 for a site that would be $40 at any other campground. Resort pricing for ghetto camping.

I was shocked to pay more money for kids after being charged close to $100 for a campsite that doesn’t even have full hookups!

We had booked with a friend and asked to stay next to each other. We were told that they would make a note and then ask at check in. At check in we were told that all the premium spots were full, but we were close to each other. They could have easily swapped our friends with the people next to us as they had the same spot type and stay length. There is more, but running out of room to type.

The stay was wonderful. The site was good. The site staff were very accommodating and friendly. Liked the hot dog feed. The dump station at this site is not very accessible, if needed. However, site staff allowed me to use another site as a dump station.

Staff were friendly and helpful. By the end of our stay they were more like friends than employees. Negatives are (1) many short narrow sites and (2) busy major highway sitting along one edge of the camp and ~30 feet above it.

You should be ashamed of taking advantage of being the only RV park in Ellensburg by charging premium prices for a very inferior camping experience. You have chosen to ignore much needed upgrades and better landscaping. We say this as a comparison to the many RV parks we have stayed at over the last 15 years. We won't be back.

Not our cup of tea! We are interested in the experience of being in nature and outdoor living, not being parked next to a freeway! I guess this type of camping works for travelers who use their RV as a hotel on wheels and are more interested in seeing the area or attending the rodeo. Other than the relentless freeway noise, the grounds are well managed and the staff are great.

Way too expensive for what it is. Hook ups are old, sites are gravel and not level. It was a $35-$45 site at best.

Map doesn't accurately show number of bathrooms. Women's showers drain into center of bathroom causing pooling of water at sinks; severe slip and fall risk. Picnic tables at campsites are covered in bird feces. Unsecured entry into Campground on a side road, right off the highway. A man in a dented black Dodge Ram drove into campgrounds and watched campers. Public boat take-out inside Campgrou

Check in person was very unhelpful. We got there about 5 minutes before she was closing and the only words she said was, you are a late check-in. Go outside and look for an envelope with your name on it. No additional information. The sites are very close together. It could have been a better experience.

I was hesitant about this campground because of some bad reviews, but we stayed here 3 nights and it was great. The staff was very nice and our site was level with full hook ups.

The good: it's pretty. The view is the river is great. The staff are friendly in any interactions I've had with them. The bad: the restrooms\shower house was a disaster. It wasn't cleaned, checked or restocked for my entire stay. Of the 2 stalls, 1 had no toilet paper and the other was clogged and dirty. They remained that way from at least 5pm to after 930 the next morning.

I just got my motorhome set up. It is a beautiful campground! I am about to go walk by the Yakima river. Very nice people working here.
