It was a nice, quiet stay.areas very clearly marked. Right next to the river. Close to local services and groceries. Morning service was great, trash service and propane tank refill when needed. The only thing I will do different next time is grab a full hookup so I can catch better Wi-Fi for my work video calls. But I had reception in all corners of the property

Second stay. Great customer service. Large pull-through site which was private and peaceful. Cable TV didn’t work and over the air reception was poor.

nice and comfortable and the guy in the front desk that time was waited until we arrived to take care for us. Then we talked to the maintenance guy and take care our garbage. how nice and appreciated their kindness. thank you

Very pretty site, but could not receive TV and the Wifi was spotty. Spoke to staff and the TV issue has been a known problem for a few years. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Why would you put water and sewer on one side of the site and power on the other side makes it very hard to hook everything up

We do have a few sites where it was necessary to have the electric pole separated from the water and sewer. Since all 3 are hooked up with different lines, it's not very hard to hook each up separately.

This was our third stay at at your KOA , I would highly recommend the ellensburg KOA to anyone looking for a great place to camp, or just overnight like we did, the new managers are going above and beyond with customer service, we had a issue with our 50 amp service not working and John was very helpful getting us going, we will definitely stay again on our way through next year!!

I stayed in a cozy cabin. I arrived after hours and easily found my keys at check in. The cabin heat was on sit was warm and cozy! Cabin was really nice and well maintained . I checked out early by dropping keys in drop box. I told several family members how well is was maintained and sent them pics so they could see how cute the decorations were.

An adequate run of the mill place in a noisy, just off the freeway location. Fine for in transit, but definitely not a destination in itself.

We are branded as a KOA Journey, which is meant to be easily accessible to travelers. If someone is looking for a destination park, then a KOA Holiday or Resort would be a better fit for them.

We stayed twice - once on our way to Montana, and once on the way home. The park is clean and neat. The staff is friendly and helpful. Location right on the Yakima River is nice. We had a huge cottonwood tree in our site the second night. It was beautiful! Traffic noise is an unavoidable price to pay for easy freeway access, but didn't deter from our enjoyment.

Very friendly, courteous staff. Very clean bathrooms & showers, however shower stalls are very small. Can barely turn around in shower without touching sides & curtains. Showers & bathrooms are quite a long distance from camping area. All in all, experience was great, quiet & peaceful.

Camp site access to hookups was very inconvenient and grass at site non existent due to lack of water. Campground is next to a river, so there is no shortage of water. Campsite charge was considered excessive considering the above factors.

Our hookups are conveniently located near the front or rear of each site. Our location is in a dry, desert climate region so despite being along a river, rain is required to water the sites that are consistently booked. Our common lawn area is well watered and well maintained.

I showed up after hours , my envelope was ready but Someone else was in my spot. I tried to call the after hours number 3 x and no one answered and there was not a message. So I ended up just taking another spot, hoping it wasn’t going to be someone else’s. The person in my spot was gone in the morning . I was going to get a picture.

We have an after hours registration box where we leave information on available sites should someone come in after hours without a reservation and want a site for the night. Unfortunately, there are times when people don't check what sites are available and inconsiderately pull into any empty site.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ellensburg KOA. Beautiful location on the Yakima River. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The only downside was the proximity to the highway.

We were disappointed that in our pull thru site we shared the picnic table area with the RV beside us. There was no privacy at all. The dog park was good.

Many of our sites are "buddy sites" that allow groups to camp together, sharing a bit of common space. Requests can be made to move sites or not be assigned a buddy site. If we are not made aware of preferences, we can't accommodate them.

The staff was friendly, but the bathrooms where not kept clean enough. The women's room looked like it hadn't been mopped in a long time. The floor seemed too dirty to risk a shower. A toilet in the men's campground bathroom had overflowed all over the floor, and was left unattended for at least a whole day. The other mens toilet, by the office, was also dirty and out of toilet paper.

We check/stock our bathrooms several times a day and appreciate campers who are considerate when using public restrooms, though not all are, and who report issues such as overflowing toilets when they happen.

Maybe it was just the time of year, but we were swarmed by flying gnats and they got inside and were everywhere. The traffic from the nearby Interstate highway 90 was also constant and fairly loud.

People love to go camping and connect with nature but sometimes nature connects with us more than we'd like. As a KOA Journey we are conveniently located off I-90 yet far enough away that the highway is not even in sight allowing guests to focus on the flowing Yakima River.

Comfortable and peaceful! I was in tipi 2, right on the river. I surprised to have so many amenities included…even bedding! I couldn’t get any channels on the TV, but remembered I was supposed to be on vacation anyway! Staff was courteous and the park was clean.

Wifi was awful and due to the location of the park my Verizon cellular data was not good. Please improve the wifi for the park. Otherwise, we had a good stay.

On Saturday 16 September my wife and I checked into site #54. The sewer system at #54 cover could not be screwed on because someone had broken off the end on there sewer connection in the drain pipe. The sewer gas smell was terrible when I ask for the staff to fix it they stated it could not be removed as it was wedged in tight. After two days we left early. Worst KOA we have ever stayed in.

Stayed in many KOAs in Canada & USA.Elllensburg KOA by far has been the worst camping experience we’ve encountered. Campground is not maintained, dirty pet area, laundry facilities & campsites.We paid for a full hookup site(water, power and sewer)& when it was time to use the sewer we couldn’t b/c of a problem with the system and the campground knew & hid the fact, very deceitful. Not KOA stan

My family and I typically stay a a few different KOA camp grounds a year. This was probably the best as far as the bathrooms being clean and the staff being very friendly. Will come again.

A good place to stop in. The laundry did not have a coin machine and it was a bit expensive for a campsite. $71. But that's kind of what you get with a KOA, and this specific campground probably doesn't have much control over that. They had a very clear area to register for the night if you came in after hours, which we did.
