Dirtiest campground we've visited. Unkempt with high weeds everywhere. Same for dog park. Had to move weeds to even find the sewer. Our neighbor gave us advice on much "better" KOAs in WA. We've been to several very nice ones out of state. Weekend price of $100+ was absurd given the grounds. Location was very convenient for visiting our granddaughter. Will look elsewhere next visit.

Very friendly and accommodating people. The only thing that I would lower my rating on was the fact that it is all dirt and it’s very windy and dusty on that side of the mountains., absolutely loved the Friday night, hotdog chips, and daiquiris! And also the fact that they offered you a second daiquiri and a second and a third hotdog was amazing! We will go back.

The restrooms were closed for repair, looked like they had been closed for a long time! Cottonwood blooms everywhere, like it had snowed, which was not great for my allergies. Wasp nest inside the electrical box where you plug in.

I found the "large" RV space to be too short to be able to keep the truck hooked up the 5th whl. for just overnight convenience. The Rest room area to the east was supposedly open until 11 AM but was closed and unavailable at 10 :30 AM.

The people who work there are very nice, but the campground needs work. The pool was down and it was 80 degrees with no wind so that was a bummer for everyone. Love the river, the kids can fish, they also loved riding their bikes all over, but it’s just dirty. It wouldn’t take much to keep it clean, especially for the price paid to stay here. Really could be a great place

We understand that this park has had flood damage in the recent past and their landscaping contractor is not showing up. But the park still looked very unkept, the bathrooms are old (but clean) and the park is near two freeways and is noisy. And it is very expensive.

The staff was accommodating and helped move us to a better location. However, the facility was hard hit by winter floods. They are working to restore the place but it needs a lot of work. Even general maintenance like mowing is insufficient. The location nea the river is beautiful. At the current observed pace of repair, it will be awhile before things are improved.

We enjoyed our stay at Ellensburg HOA. From there we visited Roslyn and Leavenworth, both great towns. We were pleasantly surprised to discover the hosts at this KOA provided free hot dogs and Daquiris on Friday night, and pancakes and coffee on Sunday morning. What a treat. It also gave us the opportunity to socialize with some of our fellow campers. Thanks!

We’ve been coming to this KOA for almost 20 years and the level of lack of maintenance is alarming. Grass hasn’t been mowed for a long time, patio we paid to enjoy was almost covered in weeds. 50 amp power supply was loose in loose in the panel. For all the workers driving around, they don’t seem to be doing anything. We wont be back

If you want to be close to the historic downtown this is it. Very friendly and welcoming employees. Our spot was right in the Yakima River which was beautiful. RV spots are on the small size a d expensive for just water/electric … but we were right on the water. KOA os right off the highway so we did hear noise at night.

I do appreciate the ease of the KOA right off the freeway, and this was one of them. a good quiet clean park right off the Yakima river. Would stay again.

Tipi was not stocked as advertised. Thankfully we brought our own extra blankets and heater or we would have had to go sleep in the running car. Cleaner used in fridge could not have been food grade as it tainted our produce with chemical smell/taste. Told office person at check out and there was no offer to attempt to remedy the situation. Could be ok in summer if freeway noise is ok with you.

Our stay at the Ellensburg KOA was only hindered by the lack of restrooms due to the flooding that occurred in December (I believe) Other than that, the park was in good shape considering and the Hosts were very friendly. The free hot dogs and drinks Friday evening was a nice touch. One complaint: When I selected our spot it indicated $ 67.50, but upon ck'ing out, it went to $75.00. Sadly.

This KOA was rather disappointing. Overall condition of the campground was poor. Restroom near our campsite was closed for remodeling. Restroom at the office, code was not working. Had to find management to open door. Store closes early (4pm) so no food or services after 4pm. There are no walking or hiking trails near by. You would need your tow vehicle to find places to hike. Over priced.

Sites a little too close together. But otherwise, very friendly staff and great K-9 fenced park. Also along Yakima River. Very pretty

We pulled in for the night after a long drive. I called earlier to ask if they had space for FULL hookup. They said no problem we have room. When we got there the place was almost empty. But they have a self check in place it had one check in envelope that had site 38 on it. Site had no sewer hook up they had lots of full hook up sites available communication was poor at this location.

Our stay was very pleasant. The grounds were immaculate, the hosts were kind, friendly and very professional. They provided us with local information. Washrooms were warm and very clean. We used the laundry services and they worked very well and again very clean.

Owners were so kind and welcoming and found a perfect quiet spot for us right on the river. Amazing view. Loved the little fenced dog area so our dogs could safely burn off some energy

Very friendly staff and a great location! The cabin was very clean and included a fridge, microwave and TV. Bed was comfy. Restrooms are always clean. Can’t wait to go back.

The campground is well maintained and the location is perfect for getting things done in the greater Ellensuirg area. We were comfortable there for a few days.

The cabin that we were in was clean and warm. The fridge and microwave was a great addition. My puppy gave the dog park 5 stars. We will be bringing the whole family on our next trip.

No one was in the office but an envelope with all our information was left with clear instructions outside. Parking with our large rig was easy - roads were wide & there were no obstacles in the way when pulling into the site. Lovely location in a little valley next to the river although a bit noisy with highway above.

The Ellensburg KOA is very nice. Normally. They have a very nice view of the river ... unfortunately the river flooded like 3 weeks before we stayed there. ugh The whole campground shows signs that water covered it so it was very wet and muddy. The campground folks are very nice to deal with overall. We like staying here. We will be back.

We arrived at 8 pm. The campground was pitch black. There was a stop sign telling you to check in. The mobile home next to the stop sign had a sign that said "Private Rental". The kiosk that held the after-hours check-in paperwork was to the aft and right side of my rig. I could not see it as my rig blocked the view. My digital reservation did not contain the site number. It was chaos.

Cold wet and muddy. Had reserved for 2 days, but had to leave the second morning because of an emergency. They would not refund me for the second day. They have every right to do so, but this is the first time I have ever been refused a refund at a KOA, most will give you a refund. The place was empty so I guess they needed the $80.00, a very high rate for the middle of winter.

The landscape is really haggard but this is a severe drought year. Nice staff, nice mature trees, the river is close by, and it's a very nice overnighter.
