This is a convenient overnight stay for us on our way to Montana. Nice campground. Very clean and neat. Nice large dog yard. Great location right on the river. The only thing that makes it less than 5 stars is the proximity to the highways. After a while the highway noise becomes white noise and is tolerable.

KOA speaks for itself after a few stays. I was hugely disappointed they were not participating in the 'free' night promotion. Location and signage was great. Very little chat from the person who brought us to our sight. We put it down to another 95 degree day... hot, hot, hot. We loved the dog park being right beside us. Facilities all in great shape.

Even though some of the sites needed maintenance (weeding) the staff did their best to care for everyone's needs and were very friendly and approachable.

We were taking over some dates from our daughter. Confusion on her part created a situation where our reservation was scheduled for a week after we arrived. The lady behind the counter was able to find us a spot, even though it may have been the busiest weekend of the year, Labor Day and Rodeo weekend. Very thankful she was able to do that for us. The campground was very nice and clean.

Very unhappy with our stay at KOA Ellensburg because of the location - it’s completely impossible to sleep in a tent at Ellensberg KOA because of the persistent noise, mainly from the adjacent highway but also from some piece of equipment that made an excessive noise at night. Definitely wouldn’t camp there again. Facilities and staff were great, just a shame about the location.

The noise of the road we were expecting but what I do not understand is that while the campground was not even half full, we were assigned a site next to the road instead of a site next to the river. It could be so easy to please your guests…..

Rodeo weekend is unlike any other time of the year and is the biggest moneymaker. Staff is of course stressed but manages to maintain good humor. Reservations must be made a year in avance and a four day stay is required for thus time period.

Although there was a "power" issue with the full hook up site, Angela was super I'm taking care of us. She fond us another site and made sure we were taken care of. This was Labor Day, county fair and PRCA Rodeo weekend in Ellensburg, wa. Grass is still green throughout the campground, clean shoers and bathrooms. A nice store with many items. Beautiful river sies..

The staff was very nice. Appreciated the garbage concierge. Labor Day weekend was packed so the bathrooms were also busy. Staff might have been overwhelmed as they really needed to be cleaned more than once a day. The dead gnats on the bathroom counter were understandable, but should have been wiped down first thing in the morning. Our grandkids loved the pool.

We looked out reservation 13 months in advance to attend the infamous Ellensburg rodeo. The site we were assigned backed up to the highway. Overall our experience was good. This property has been in Ellensburg for a very long time. we prepared for an early departure (on the advice of the front desk staff). Our early departure positioned us to be first in line for the dump station.

We have stayed at the Ellensburg KOA for Labor Day weekend for several years and this year was by far our best experience. Staff were friendly and professional. The park was clean. It felt more like a community with their extra touches and activities. We will be back!

Staff is friendly, and try there best to accommodate. Sites are fine, but in need of refreshing, tables worn, trees need trimmed. We had power fluctuations at our site that were told to staff but not addressed later. Wifi was improved infrastructure, T Mobile had 5g coverage. Bathrooms clean, but could use some TLC.

We stay a few times each year at this location. It’s very accessible to town and food! The pools are a great feature. We’ve not had any issues with the staff. But… our group did mention some of the staff not being as friendly or having great customer service. The bugs this time around were a lot. Not sure if the campground could spray often? But we do love staying there.

We stayed in the “primitive” campsites with no hookups however still paid 95 dollars per night. The campsite was in a field full of overgrown weeds and absolutely no shade. There is a lack of maintenance throughout the entire campground, lawn is way too long, the pool liner is coming off the edges of the pool. Bunch of workers standing around doing nothing. I won’t be returning.

The grossest KOA we have ever stayed at. So overpriced for a crappy gross motel looking pool that was filthy. The bathrooms were disgusting also and didn’t even have toilet paper in all but one of the stalls. They also cram the campsites so close you’re basically touching the next trailer.

Granted, we did make a last minute reservation, but we found the park very overcrowded with heavy pot and cigarette smoke very prolific. That in combination with no hook ups our nightly rate of nearly $95 was a total rip off. We’ve stayed in multiple KOA s in several states and never seen one as poorly rated as this one.

I’m extremely disappointed that I stayed in this KOA. The staff was not helpful and rude. The bathroom was dirty and had Narcan on the wall. I feel like I should get a refund from them 94.00$ almost twice what I paid at other koa’s it’s a shame that koa has kept there name on this location

Areas clean, utilities functional and staff all pleasant to interact with. The river and occasional wildlife did not disappoint, get eyes off the cell phone screen and take in the natural world. Cell reception was fair to good without using a signal booster though if needed.

Booked on line for a 30 amp site. Arrived late so check in info was left at office. The site we were given was a 50 amp deluxe site. We don't have a 50 amp connection so had to use an adaptor to get 20 amp. All connections were a ridiculous distance to reach. Office staff said that was how I booked it. FUNNY HOW I CAN BOOK OTHER CAMPGROUNDS WITHOUT ISSUES. Make your website easier to navigate.

We stayed in a tent camping spot. It was okay in many respects, but we had trouble sleeping because of the traffic noise. It is too close to very busy highways, with trucks roaring past all night.

I would not recommend the tipi. I'm sure the other options are fine. We were awakened with an animal chewing on one of our overnight bags. We turned on lights trying to find the culprit. Tried to get back to sleep but the animal had returned. It was in the basket containing coffee pods, sugar & creamer. I pointed a flashlight directly on it. It existed behind the single bed & out a hole in tent.

It was fun and the pool was nice and the kids playground is awesome. I loved riding the peddle gocarts and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The maintenance guy was awesome and friendly and did a fantastic job with helping us when we needed it. �

The landscape is really haggard but this is a severe drought year. Nice staff, nice mature trees, the river is close by, and it's a very nice overnighter.

Very well maintained and close to gas station and grocery store. The campground $10 stone oven pizzas are really good.
