I enjoyed the location and the sites but I did not like the strictness with the pool numbers as we had little kids with us who were trying to cool down but they wouldn't let us in

Easy to get around the site ,it’s close to lots of activities. Some of the stalls are a little cramped but otherwise everything was pretty good . There should be at least one light or something in the middle of the tenting site for walking to the new bathroom ,it’s very dark and hard to see without packing a flashlight

I was a little nervous to book for our first time based on a few reviews that I read but I am happy that we did. We had a blast in the pool and participating in events around the campground. They monitored the capacity in the pool which was good, it was hot and the pool would have been very overcrowded if they weren’t keeping an eye on it. Our family can’t want to come again next year for long

We loved being near the river, and the pool was so fun! Mini golf was great for our little kiddos too. The campground had lots of fun activities planned for the weekend and we all enjoyed them! There were tons of bees, which made things more difficult, but that’s not the campground’s fault.

Very nice. Staff were amazing. Amazingly quiet at night. Campers were very respectful of rules. But the campsites were a bit pricey, and lots of maintenance is needed at this place including trimming many dead trees so that they don’t have branches falling onto campers and tents. Tons of activities arranged by staff, and beautiful location. Very clean and well kept. Longer store hours needed.

Our stay was awesome! The workers in the store are so nice! Our only complaint is on our last night the people across from us were drunk and very loud. They kept us up, and I’m sure many others, until almost 1am. It was an unfortunate end to an overall great weekend!

Just a suggestion maybe having a little splash pad for the kidos would be fantastic we had two baby 8 months et 2 years and the pocket was pack not fun for the kids

Stay was great . It is a very nice campground. My only issue was the pump truck for the sewer tanks pumping at peak pool hours. Timing it before or after the pool opens would be much better.

The gal checking us in was awesome. The staff friendly. Overall we enjoyed the camping. The only problem was the poor cell service (maybe not your problem) BUT THE WORST WIFI EVER ( definitely YOUR PROBLEM). Get with the times this is the 21 century. Especially when you are within a couple of meters from a wifi pole. Sad situation.

They need to work on the roads getting into the park. Other than that,it’s a great park with lots of trees. The staff was efficient and friendly.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The park was clean, pool was warm and location was quiet. Just a little drive out of town; a perfect opportunity to see deer and hear the coyotes at sunrise. One small item needing attention: the gutter outside the laundry is plugged/needs fixing (which I’m sure became evident in the heavy rain we had!) I highly recommend this park!

We have camped at Dinosaur Trail for many years and have observed it going downhill in the last few years. KOA has put in some improvements, such as a new washroom/shower building, arcade, mini golf, and have cut down some dead trees. The place was clean and staff friendly and accommodating. While they did have canoes on site, they could not rent them as they did not have an operator to do so.

There was a mix up with my reservation not being beside my daughter. My daughter talked to the check in people and they managed to sort it out. Thanks so much to all for doing that. Have been coming to Dinosaur Trail for some years and was finding it not looking as good as it could but expect with the new ownership things will be looking better. The new washroom is a great improvement. Thks

We think the sites were nice. A few nice trees around. We think there should be a bit better signage at the entrance. The registration sign is tiny and we had a hard time spotting it. We chose to use the shower in our Camper because they have paid showers. I feel bad for people with tents that pay for a site and then have to also pay for their shower. Yet RV's are using a lot more water than them.

Awesome campground with great features and views. Good sized sites. Some with shade and some without. Some back-in and some pull through. Short drive into town. Nice pool area and games room for kids.

campground is run down. Sites are over run with ants, and not cleaned before you pull in. The trees have large dead wood and branches fall off in the wind. This trip a 8ft branch fell off missing my truck by inches. We left in a hurry to avoid major damage to our truck and trailer.

It was a great stay! We stayed right by the bathroom. The kids loved the pool and park. Only thing is we weren't told the coins only work by the store. So when I went to shower by our campsit they said loonies only. I tried loonies and even those didn't work. So had to get dressed and go to the store. Told bingo was at 6. Went to go play and was held at 2. We didn't know..

We used the campsite as a central place to sleep. Serviced site was nice, however we didn’t use the fire pit or picnic table as we were not there much. Dump station set up was great. Only complaint was the clean up crews golf cart needs an upgrade, lol, the fumes coming off the cart when it went by were nauseous.

The stay was great. Staff was awesome. My only concern is the high number of danger trees. Most of the trees have dead branches. Some are dead and broken. These are called "widow makers" for a reason. We had 2 branches come down during our stay. One of them dented the AC unit on our trailer. I highly advise having a tree professional review the trees yearly before someone is injured.

We had a wonderful time at the campground. The sites in the trees are definitely the way to go, we were in site 6. The kids loved the pool and the mini-golf. Loved the free showers. Short trail down to the river. Was great!

The state of the pool building was very old, dirty, and rusty. Pool needed cleaning after the rainstorm. Leaves and lots of bugs were in the pool. No one cleaned campsites after use. Staff were friendly.

If you want to pay nearly a hundred bucks a night for a gravel pit with no shade and just a rock between campsites this is the one for you. We tried to use the pool but was given 3 different times it would be available and then only had a piddling cold water shower available. Pretty overrated for what a person got.

We had such a great stay at the Dinosaur Trail KOA! The campground was clean, family-friendly, and had such a fun atmosphere for the kids. The location is perfect if you're visiting Drumheller and wanting to explore the dinosaur attractions nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the campground had everything we needed to make our trip comfortable. It felt organized, welcoming, and easy to settle into. Our family really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun camping spot in the Drumheller area! Already booked our next visit.
